Governor Jane Brewer "schools" liberals on the importance of "reading" before "reacting".
Governor Jane Brewer of Arizona has done it again. So many on the left have commented on how "racist, bigoted" the Arizona law is, yet they haven't read one page of the 10 page bill. This remind me a lot of how liberals trashed Sarah Palin's book on Amazon.com before the book was even released!! As with everything pertaining to the left, it comes down to emotion over facts. Leave it to Governor Brewer to school liberals on the importance of actually reading the bill before commenting on it. Reading is fun! It's amazing that people on the left are actually wasting time and effort boycotting against something without having fact one to justify the boycott in the first place. I did say many times before that liberal logic is an oxymoron.

I can only hope that the Arizona law spreads to the other 49 states.
I had a debate with a person I know whom was against this bill. He claims that the law itself is racist while I told him the law is going after illegal immigrants.
True, most of the illegal immigrants down in the southwest are Mexican. But there are a lot of Mexicans who went by the book and legally became US citizens.
Again, still he says it's racist. OK, here is an example: let's say a Canadian, regardless of his/her race were to live and work here in the States without the necessary paperwork; that would make him or her an illegal immigrant. The same applies to a person from Britain.
If I as an American were to reside and work in another country without the necessary paperwork, that too would make me an illegal immigrant. I could be deported, or worse, be sent to prison.
So, who was the one being ignorant now I told him. He was silent.
Good point.

I would have asked the person who claimed it is a racist bill "how is the bill racist against people who are legal citizens". That person wouldn't have known what to say.

This is what the illegal immigration crowd can't debate. If illegals didn't flood into our country in the first place, the law in Arizona wouldn't have been necessary. It's the classic "cause and effect" situation. The actions of illegals helped give birth to this law.

He said that, because that is all he could say. The open border crowd doesn't have a logical defense in which to validate their support of illegals so they have no other chose but to hide behind the issue of race. It never fails.

The left can't argue that we must have our passports on us at all times while visiting other countries. Of course they will never call the laws of those countries especially in Europe "racist" in nature.
