Rand Paul, Rachael Madcow and the fake outrage Part 1

I decided to wait a few days before commenting on this "shockingly overinflated story" for a reason. I wanted to make sure that I had a chance to watch the video of Rand Paul on Madcow's show. I've been hearing liberals over the last few days trying to label Rand Paul as a racist because his comments on MSNBC'S Rachael Madcow's show. Well after watching the video of his appearance on Madcow's show, I have concluded that the left has yet again, took what a Republican said out of context and is amplifying it in an attempt to tar and feather Rand with the racist label. I know liberals are for the most part not the brightest bulbs in the drawer. Who could have interrupted what Rand said as and interruption that he wanted to repeal the 1964 Civil Rights Act if he was in congress when it was drafted? In his so called interview with Madcow, he even said that he supported 9 out the 10 provisions within the Civil Rights Act. As usual, the left isn't mentioning that part of the interview. It wouldn't gel with their attack and smear campaign against him. Rand was discussing the 1964 Civil Rights Law from a "libertarian" prospective NOT from a "racist" prospective. That is what has been lost in the translation by the left on purpose. I find the fake outrage humorous bordering absurd. I truly wonder do these people actually expect to be taken seriously? The left is calling Rand Paul a racist, yet they conveniently ignore the historic fact that it was the current Democratic Senator from West Virginia Robert Byrd would led a record 83 day filibuster in 1964 in an attempt to kill the Civil Right Act all together. Once again, liberals aren't going to bring that up either. The late Barry Goldwater was another Republican libertarian who was branded as a racist. Barry didn't support the 1964 Civil Rights Act not because he was a racist. He supported the bill on moral grounds, but he believed that the states should have been the ones to implement the act. He didn't support the act on libertarian grounds. That is also one reason why liberals try to stain the term "state rights" as a seeded racist terminology even though it's not. It didn't matter that  Barry Goldwater was the co founder of the Arizona chapter of the NAACP. The left didn't care that Barry wasn't a racist. All they cared about was that he didn't support the federal bill regardless of the reason, and they used that as a weapon to tar and feather him as a racist even though he was not.  The 2:16 minute mark in this video says all that needs to be said about where Rand Paul stand on racism.

I'll go into detail why Rand was beyond stupid for even going on Rachel Madcow's show in first place in part 2.

Rand Paul may not be a racist, but he certainly is an ignoramus.

Paul believes that a private company or business should have the right to exclude and/or deny an American goods or services based on the color of their skin. It might not be racist, but it surely is STUPID!!(if not, "evil").

In Paul's America a private hospital could deny blacks (or any other American born minority) emergency services, while at the same time accept and treat a foreigner of a preferred race.

In Paul's America, private lunch counter's could dust-off the old "White's only" signs and display them proudly.... again!

In Paul's America privately owned clubs and hotels could "LEGALLY" require blacks to enter through the back doors.... again!

In Paul's America "Fair Housing" would mean that; "It's fair to allow one race to set up an enclave on American soil and not allow anyone else to live, sell nor buy in that area."

I thought Maddow was "the most intelligent person" in the media, as described by left media magazines? I have yet to see an ounce of rational and logical thought, let alone any facts slip from her lips. She is an Air America failure whom reaps the same viewers as a 30 second ad on George Norey's show.
Paul should have known he would be set up and sand bagged, so stupid is he for making the time to dance for the left. Maddow and her little dog Olby would sell their souls to convince America that any person right of them is a racist. Besides, its the templet of the left, and if you cant debate it, just destroy the credibility of the debator. Its too much work for lefties to have to research things, much easier to be told by some blogger or KOS Kid.

The key word is "private" allen. A person should have the right to do with his or her property as he or she see fit. The government should not be able to tell a private citizen how he or she can use their property. You find what Paul said as being stupid simply because you don't agree with it. The federal government can't control nor dictate how a private citizen conducts his or her business in a particular city and state allen.

p allen "In Paul's America a private hospital could deny blacks (or any other American born minority) emergency services, while at the same time accept and treat a foreigner of a preferred race."

Actually wrong allen. In your extreme case, the hospital could be sued for not treating a black person. Doctors take the oath to treat people who are ill. A doctor who would refuse to treat a patient based on race could lose his or her license to practice medicine by the state medical board.

p allen "In Paul's America, private lunch counter's could dust-off the old "White's only" signs and display them proudly.... again!"

Grow up allen. lol

" In Paul's America privately owned clubs and hotels could "LEGALLY" require blacks to enter through the back doors.... again!"

If blacks are willing to patron those establishments, then that is on them allen in following the private establishment rules. Personally, I wouldn't spend my money their thus I wouldn't have to submit to their rules. Everyone has a choice allen.

LOL, I couldn't have said that any better Greg. When MSNBC hired Maddow, they promoted her as being the key to taking down Fox News. Madcow hasn't lived up to hype. Greta destroys her every night like a dog slinging a rag doll.

Rand brought it on himself for foolishly going on Madcow's show. If anything, this proves that Rand is a political lightweight. Hopefully after this Rand won't be as wet behind the ears going forward when dealing with the media.

CB;"Actually wrong allen. In your extreme case, the hospital could be sued for not treating a black person".

Not entirely wrong Tyrone. Actually it depends on what state you are in, what type of emergency you're having, and the laws governing the private institution in that state.

CB;"If blacks are willing to patron those establishments, then that is on them allen in following the private establishment rules".

Tyrone, it is intitutional racism that has bred the divides we have today. I remind you of segragated lunch counters, and all you can respond with is, "grow up"???? As though it never happened...or are you saying it could never happen again?

Could you please supply the exact quotes, audio or text where Rand Paul says he believes those things.

From the interview, Paul stated he believed the government shouldn't be telling privately owned businesses how to conduct their business. If a business owner is racist and descriminates, which is more effective; the government making laws against his behavior or word of mouth?

I despise Leftists with a passion they go after decent people while making excuses for the most morally bankrupt individuals on earth. Rachael Maddow and others like her make me sick!

The racecard is a joke. Fake racism is highlighted while Anti-Semitism is given a pass.
