Some Americans just don't get it and they never will.

Chris Hayes is a pseudo intellectual piece of human garbage who has a show on MSNBC. Since it's on MSNBC, nobody really watches it anyways.Chris is a die hard progressive/liberal, so anything  he says bad about America is nothing new, but what he said about the soldiers yesterday  is something to take note of, and I am willing to bet that he only said what the majority of progressives actually feel but will never say openly. Chris Hayes of MSNBC said.

As I said before, Chris Hayes represents the side that has always loathed the U.S Military. These are the people who only display the American flag once a media camera is shined them and are quick to discard, burn, spit on or urinate on the flag when the camera is pointed away from them. These people who do these things are quick to claim freedom of speech under the constitution for what they do but are even quicker to call anyone who burns a koran an "Islamaphobe" for doing the same.
This is the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War. The American left were the ones who spat on returning soldiers from Vietnam and called them baby killers. It was people who shared the same thought process as Mr. Hayes who treated returning Vietnam soldiers like garbage. Even to this day, they still hate the soldiers who fought in the  Vietnam War and their memory.  So on this Memorial Day and every Memorial Day that follows, remember the citizens who wore the uniform and made the ultimate sacrifice for this country, but also remember that there is an enemy within our country that must be constantly fought against and pushed back. Since Hayes made his comments, the Veterans Of Foreign Wars have demanded an apology from him. They might be waiting a long while before they get it.

CB;"and I am willing to bet that he only said what the majority of progressives actually feel but will never say openly".

Isn't it strange how certain "majorities" actually feels about an issue, but will never say openly? Really...?

Again you've taken a broad brush to the "majority" of an ideological group of Americans based on "ONE MANS COMMENTS." Since you're will to bet about how "progressives" feel about the military, how about how "conservatives" really feel about other issues? You're writing as if Hayes doubled down on his comments and went on a "three day" binge repeating it. (Rush Limbaugh) You're writing as if progressives are lining up defending Hayes' comments. (Hannity, Malkin, Coulter, Savage, O'Reilly, Tyrone, on and on...)

My oldest brother is a Vietnam veteran. I have several uncles who are (and were) Korean War veterans. An uncle who recently passed away was a WWII veteran. From their own mouths I've never heard one of them refer to themselves as "heroes." Since conscription no longer applies to military service, I still see it as an honorable task for men and women to join and serve. Even though I've never served in the military, I have the utmost respect for those who have, those who are, and those who will.

Tyrone says, "but also remember that there is an enemy within our country that must be constantly fought against and pushed back."

First, let me say that I agree with everything you said. Except for calling someone a piece of garbage. That breaks a Commandment of Christ for which you will be held accountable. Not smart to trample on the law like that. You can get your points across without making a dead letter of Christ's Commandments.

On the quoted sentence above, yes, the enemey is inside the gates, and his name is ROMNEY, a pro-abortion, pro-homosexual, pro-progressive, chameleon who has put on a pin striped Republican zoot suit, waves a wad of 100 dollar bills before the people, and already the gullible are shining his shoes. Insanity.

What commandment is that exactly of Christ that I broke by calling Hayes a piece of garbage? I know god created the ten commandments but that was long before the birth of Jesus Christ. So please elaborate.

We obviously aren't going to agree on that one. I see Obama as the greatest enemy to this country since FDR. You angst against Romney is based on your fixation on his religion more so then Romney himself. Romney has stated that he is for traditional marriage, that is the reason Obama is attacking him on the issue. Romney wasn't my cup of tea in the beginning, but I would be a dam fool to not see him as a contrast to the disaster that is in the white house now. What's really gullible is believing the progressie spew of Obama claiming to represent the 99% even though Obama hangs around billionaires and millionaires and he is personally worth 10 million dollars. Anyone who buys in to him is gullible.

Actually I provided evidence beyond Hayes's comments allen. You need to reread the original story I wrote. Maybe I should edit the story and provide pictures of progressives calling the troops nazis, storm troopers, war mongers, and mercenaries. Will that help in my "broad brush" claim of the anti military left?

p allen "Since you're will to bet about how "progressives" feel about the military, how about how "conservatives" really feel about other issues? "

Conservatives nor a conservative in the singular sense made the comment allen. If one did, I would have gave him the same treatment I did Hayes.

I was one of the first to write on what Hayes said before others on the right did. I've commented on it once, and I have moved on. If Rush and others want to continue to comment on it, then that's their call to do so. Eventually conservatives will let go of it also and move on.

Sure! If you provide any pictures of returning Vietnam Vets being called Nazis, storm troopers, etc... please post them! They would be sure Pulitzer Prize winners.

Although you should keep in mind that attacking the President of the United States as being a Nazi is nothing new. Like, This one?.
Maybe This one?.
Or, This one?.
How about This one?.

Where there "liberal" opponents of the Vietnam war who mocked, attacked, insulted and desecrated the effort of the Vietnam war? Yes there were. Many of those protesting were the war veterans themselves! Yet today, there are veterans of the Iraq war who speak out in protest against that war.

However, all those who were against the Vietnam War weren't your classic liberal Democrat types. Republican Senator Thurston Morton was vocal critic of the war. As I'm sure you already know, George Romney (father of Mitt) came out against the war during his bid for president in 1968. His shifting flip-flop (like Mitt, the apple not falling far from the tree) brainwashing comment is believed to have cost him the nomination.

"Some don't get it and they never will is right. It's not the left that's the enemy, it's not the right, it's not the liberals, Democrats, Republicans"....it doesn't matter WHO is in office, WHO holds the majority in the House. There isn't a one of those sitting in office that cares about people they supposedly represent. "Homeless Vietnam Vet"....how the HELL is that phrase even possible?
Time to start getting it people...

(this website is not involved with the occupy movement per se. The people of Placerville that claim to be occupiers actually make excuses for the abuses that occur within our government however the webmaster did not find this out until after he was asked to put up the website)

I am a veteran...crossed the U.S. 4 times between 1966-70 - in uniform. Given free food - free motel rooms - moved to first in "stand-by" lines at airports. Two years in college after I was discharged - wore my uniform coat the whole time - never a negative comment. The entire story about Vietnam Vets getting spit on etc is total bullshit! Chris Hayes is correct...the Republican war monger have made the word "hero" meaningless! And most of them were draft dodger - did someone say Dick Chenney??? and George W. was AWOL from his unit - hypocritical turds!
