And MSNBC can't figure out why they don't have any ratings. Maybe it's a thing called "lack of credibility".
Thanks to Shay over at Booker Rising for bringing this story to light. The headline "Astroturfing Racism" is so accurate. No wonder MSNBC has very low ratings ratings. They have zero credibility. The same goes for CNN and the rest of the news outlets. This is a text book example of how liberals in the media "frame stories" in a certain light in order to get their "desired result". MSNBC anchor Contessa Brewer and her panel of libs claimed that there are "racial overtones" with people who are bringing legal firearms to protests against Barack Obama. I said this before, liberals can't let go of "race" for one nanosecond. Go back in time to when Obama made his infamous remarks about people in "rural America". These were Obama's words "People that cling to guns or religion or have antipathy to people who aren't like them"
Notice the words "cling to their guns" and "antipathy to people who aren't like them". Most of the population in rual parts of America happen to be "white". Do you see a connection between Contessa Brewer's comments and Barack Obama's statement? That is one story in itself, but that isn't the main point I'm trying to make. Take a look at the video shot by the camera person from MSNBC from outside the Obama Town Hall meeting.
Notice that the camera person filmed the faces of others in the crowd, but he or she didn't film the face of the person carrying the riffle. Without the face being shown, Brewer and the rest of the deceptive hordes at MSNBC "framed the story" as the opposition being nothing more then a bunch of "angry right wing white racists" that want to cap Obama. The camera person had no problem slicing in from the camera shot of the riffle to the shot of the reporter talking to a "white guy with an anti Obama shirt. Well this is the identity of "right winger" with "racial overtones" who was carrying the riffle.
It looks like that "white racist" has a bad case of sunburn. He looks like a black guy to me. This is why the ratings of Fox News are at an all time high. People are tired of the media manipulation by the liberals elites who try to pass themselves off as journalists.

MSNBC is too full of it to recognize that no sensible person takes them seriously!
Tyrone, you are aware that the "brother" carrying the gun to the rally was a publicity stunt and was STAGED.
The makers of that clip and the perpetrators of the stunt is a Libertarian group calling themselves, "4409."
A quick web search reveals that 4409 (backers of Ron, and son, Rand Paul) is a group that promotes a number of "conspiracy theories" including THIS video that accuses G.W. Bush of blowing up the World Trade Center Towers!
There's one thing that doesn't set to well with me though. That is, why did the 4409 group chose a "Black" man to perpetrate the stunt? Why is the video entitled "BROTHER carries AR-15", with particular emphasis on the man being Black? Why use the term "brother" in the first place?
Secondly, during the last election, the 4409 group was in fervent opposition to the press, and the REPUBLICAN party because they felt they were somehow "locked-out" of the primaries and the general election process.
As far as "racist" overtones, one would be foolishly naive to think that there is not a significant number of whites that are angry beyond belief that a black man is President of the United States.
Web site's such as THIS and THIS are on the rise!
And THIS from the SPLC.
Even the "conservative" site Little Green Footballs says that the 4409 group is a bit whacko.
Are you thinking about going all out "libertarian" now Tyrone? It's appears as though your promoting their insanity. Or are you taking it as an old adage says... "The enemy of my enemy is my friend"
It is so called journalism like what MSNBC did is the reason why Obama was elected in the first place Chilerkle. I believe that the only people dumb enough to actually call MSBNC a legitimate calbe news channel are the completely naive and the ultra kook wing nuts. They should just rename it "fringe news" instead. The media can sway public opinion, and their lies can do the exact same thing.

Actually I did allen. You are a nickel late and a dime short on the update. My commentary wasn't about the guy with the riffle allen. It was about how MSNBC masked his identity and tried to present him as a white right wing racist. Come on allen, you have to pay attention!
p allen "The makers of that clip and the perpetrators of the stunt is a Libertarian group calling themselves, "4409."
Do you think libertarians support a government take over of health care allen? Bringing a riffle to the event did drum up plenty of publicity, so it would seem that it was a job well done for them. The only people who were fooled and played for suckers was Miss Brewster and MSNBC.

Everybody who follow politics or was a Ron Paul supporter knows Paul is a libertarian Republican So what is your point allen? What did the black guy say that was based on conspiracy allen?
p allen "There's one thing that doesn't set to well with me though. That is, why did the 4409 group chose a "Black" man to perpetrate the stunt? Why is the video entitled "BROTHER carries AR-15", with particular emphasis on the man being Black? Why use the term "brother" in the first place?"
Funny how you completely ignored how MSNBC masked over him allen. That doesn't surprise me. When you can't defend or attack a position, you try to change the topic in an effort to take attention off of it. You have become so predictable allen. lol
p allen "Secondly, during the last election, the 4409 group was in fervent opposition to the press, and the REPUBLICAN party because they felt they were somehow "locked-out" of the primaries and the general election process."
If that is the case then allen, you cant say that 4409 are shill of the Republican Party in order to "astro turf". So thanks for laying the foundation for me to make my point. :-)
p allen "As far as "racist" overtones, one would be foolishly naive to think that there is not a significant number of whites that are angry beyond belief that a black man is President of the United States."
You fail to acknowledge or accept the simple fact allen that a SIGNIFICANT amount of WHITES voted for Obama. Many of them now are having serious second thoughts, especially among independents.
p allen "Even the "conservative" site Little Green Footballs says that the 4409 group is a bit whacko."
They may be whacko and then again they may not. Since the black guy didn't fire his riffle and their objective of getting press time was accomplished,4409 must not be that whacko afterall.
p allen "Are you thinking about going all out "libertarian" now Tyrone? It's appears as though your promoting their insanity. Or are you taking it as an old adage says... "The enemy of my enemy is my friend"
Nah allen, I'm going to remain that annoying paleoconservative that liberals can't stand and hate with a passion. :-) You did bring up a point though. Libertarians are staunch limited government supporters. A government run health care bill won't jive with them. We can agree on that. I see this as merely Americans of different ideologies who don't want nor accept a government run health care plan.
CB;"Actually I did allen. You are a nickel late and a dime short on the update".
Nickle late? I didn't know "nickles" could tell time... I tend to "watch" my nickles, maybe you should have your dimes buy your nickles a "watch."
lol...
Career advice allen. Don't quit your day job and become a comedian. ;-)
I do not trust any news network that is a whore for Obama or any corrupt politician!
Is MSNBC trying to compete with ABC News to be Obama's top whore and cheerleader?
This is hysterical ... I'm not "clinging to my gun" because I'm bitter. I have a gun and know how to shoot it because I'm a single woman and people might think I'm an easy target and decide to break in to my rural American home, steal what I have and kill me in the process. My gun, which some say "I cling to" will stop them in their tracks. I will definitely "shoot first and ask questions later" if someone decides to break into my home. It has nothing to do with being "bitter" "white" "rural". It has everything to do with "I will shoot your sorry butt if you break into my home and try to harm me." A note to p. anthony - I don't read your "commentary" anymore so save yourself some keystrokes and don't respond to my post.
Barbara;"A note to p. anthony - I don't read your "commentary" anymore so save yourself some keystrokes and don't respond to my post".
Sorry to hear that Barbara... I get that response frequently on conservative blogs. I was even blocked from posting on a conservative blog because of my "commentary."
There's only one problem with your request about "saving my keystrokes and not responding to your post." Unlike those other conservative blogs, YOU CAN"T BLOCK ME!
Tyrone has been extremely gracious and benevolent as he and others here have debated many issues. Thus, if or when Tyrone decides that my "keystrokes" should be saved in order "not" to have your post's responded to, you're just going to have to deal with it!
I truly am sorry you feel that way, but the fact is, until Tyrone stops my access to this blog, you'll just have to continue to "not read my commentary."
