Why when a racially motived crime occurs, the media never reports it nationally if the race of the victim and criminal aren't "appropriate"?
A friend sent me a story about a 13 year old boy who was doused in gasoline by several teens and set on fire last week in Kansas City. Anybody who would do such a thing is driven by pure evil, but what the teens said was just beyond comprehension. The teens who set the boy on fire said that he "deserved it". The mother of the young boy Melissa Coon said that her son was two blocks away from his house, when two teenagers started following him. Here's why the story didn't receive national attention. Ms. Coon claimed they two sixteen year old boys rushed her son onto the porch as he tried to get the door open. One of them poured the gasoline on her son, then flicked the Bic, and said, 'This is what you deserve. You get what you deserve, white boy" The mother said that her son put out the fire with his shirt and called 911. He was rushed to the hospital and was treated for his injuries. She believes that the students attended East High School with her son, and said he will not be returning to the school. She also stated her traumatized family now plans to move. Even the 5 years old kid is now worried that he may also be set on fire. Of course this incident is being investigated as a hate crime.
About five years ago, two white passengers were beaten and dragged off a Metro bus by nine black students in the neighborhood of Hampden here in Baltimore. The police struggled on whether to have called the attack a hate crime or not. There is a false perception being presented by progressives that "blacks can't be racist"and only whites can. Of course to believe such nonsense is absolutely stupid. Racism is universal. No one race holds the trademark or patent for harboring racism. Racism exists among individuals and is exhibited by certain individuals of all races. The story about the 13 year old being set on fire should have made national news due to the absolute disgusting nature of the attack and the hate filled forethought behind it. Like I said though, the victim had the wrong skin color and so did the attackers, so it didn't make the national news. The myth that the left wants embedded into the minds of people who are naive enough into believing it is that the definition of a racist is anyone who is "white and conservative". If stories like this ever got out, their narrative that they have constructed an repeated for decades would be shattered almost instantly, and they can't have that happen.

Teens in Cab Attack Not Charged With Hate Crimes
"Three juveniles who allegedly assaulted a cab driver and his passenger in Center City Saturday night while shouting racial slurs will not be charged with a hate crime, according to the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office."
So really, there isn't "equal protection under the law" in this case.
I remember years ago, about a white couple from Knoxville, TN who were kidnapped, tortured and raped.
The accused in this case were five black men and a black woman.
The male victim was taken out to the railroad yards, shot execution style, and his remains set ablaze. The female, was repeatedly raped before they killed her. They doused her body with chemicals and bleach to rid of DNA evidence, which they were unsuccessful.
The local chapter of the NAACP came to the accuses defense and claimed that it was not a hate crime because there was "no evidence" to confirm it.
Someone asked them what if the roles are reversed; they couldn't, or refuse to answer the question.
Speaking of the NAACP, last year the Seattle chapter wanted a white prosecutor fired because he was "too good at this job". All the cases he handled were violent black criminals.
His most recent case was prosecuting a black man who kidnapped two white women, raped and tortured them and killing one of them; the other escaped and that was how he was apprehended. So, wouldn't that apply as a hate crime?
Anyway, the NAACP claims that this prosecutors made the accused and his friends and family member look foolish on the witness stand and that he made racial epithets; they could not provide the evidence that he did.
What I don't understand with the NAACP or any members in the black community is why they come and support, defend and make excuses for such terrible people.
In my opinion, the reason why black on white crime is not reported in the national media, is that they don't want a race war.
I've seen and read reports of race riots throughout U.S. history. Come to think of it, we should call them "race battles". When we think of "battle", our first guess is "war". So, race wars have been going on for a long time.
What the media does not report are of interracial crime such as blacks on Asians or Hispanics or vice versa. Like black on white, none of them are labeled as a hate crime. So, minority on minority is not a hate crime? Aren't all crimes hate crimes?

This country is going down a politically correct version of a low flow toilet. Funny that incident would happen in Philadelphia, the same city the New Black Panthers were standing out in front of a polling place for the express purpose of intimidating white voters. So the juveniles were shouting racial slurs at the cab driver and another passenger while assaulting them but the DA didn't find that meaningful enough to call the incident racially motivated, absolutely amazing. Let the roles have been switched,and the DA would have tripped over himself so fast in calling it a hate crime case instead of just a typical assault case. People are getting tired of the double standards in society, they really are. How can progressives preach to everyone else about the "equality", yet they are the biggest perpetrators in creating unequal outcomes in the name of equality?

Of course they refused to answer that question. For them to have answered it would have shown them not to really care aabout equal justice under the law.

The NACCP has been a joke of a civil rights organization for the last 30 years. If the NAACP focused more so on helping at risk black youth staying out of trouble, then those teens wouldn't get into trouble thus they wouldn't be arrested and sentenced in the first place. It makes perfect sense to logical thinking people, to them it might as well be a foreign concept. The DA in Seattle has a job to do in protecting the citizens, and no violent criminal should get a slap on the wrist because some warped logic thinking former civil rights organization thinks it's "unfair".

My argument is that these things dont get media attention at all as I myself just heard about this and think it is horrible. The other problem is that racial arguments are harder to prove when its blacks on white, and just to be clear, ALL CASES where a white person is accused of racism isnt always proven to be true.
Black on black crime is staggering. Where are the black civil leaders?

White on black crime is decreasing. You would never know it by the obsession the mainstream media has to find isolated cases, many times misreport them, and gin up the black folks.
Rev Jackson & Rev Sharpton are race merchants. If there ain't no money in it, they could care less.
Sad, they have actually become worse than those they claim to despise.
