Gays show their true colors toward blacks over their support of Proposition 8.
They're here and they're queer, but they're not going skiing. That's because gays and gay marriage advocates in California are too busy protesting the passing of a ballot initiative called proposition 8. Proposition 8 was a California State ballot proposition that amended the state Constitution to define marriage as a union between a man and a woman. As you can imagine, they are having a hissy fit over it's passing. Churches have been vandalized. The only thing that hasn't been vandalized or desecrated is the "rainbow flag". Right now I believe the rainbow flags might be flying at half staff. This is footage from an anti prop 8 rally in which gays verbally abused an elderly lady.
I get sick and tired of radical gay groups trying to compare their quest to change the definition of marriage to that of the black" civil rights" struggle. Some gays think because blacks are a minority group that some how we share a common struggle. Most blacks that are registered to vote tend to vote Democrat. That is no secret of course, but blacks tend to be conservative on many social issues including defending traditional marriage. Gays in California foolishly thought that blacks were going to overwhelming vote against Prop 8 because Barack Obama was against it as well. They suffered a rude shock when Prop 8 passed and with 70% of blacks voting in support of it! So now gays in California aren't acting very "intolerant" towards blacks because of how they voted. It also shows how blacks and gays don't see eye to eye on this moral issue. It got so bad that black gays were called "niggers" by white gays, because other blacks voted in support of Prop 8, even though black gays were against Prop 8, so much for "unity under the rainbow flag".

They are mad, because it doesn't grant them "special rights". That is what militant gays can't stand. Gay Marriage is an oxymoron by definition, because marriage is by definition a union between one man and one woman. Gay groups originally spouted that they want the same rights that married heterosexual couples have. Civil Unions accomplishes exactly what they want, but that isn't good enough. The real agenda is to try to validate the lifestyle of homosexuality as normal by including it under the mainstream union of "marriage". Roseanne didn't factor in that they're are people of different races that aren't even religious that supporter the traditional definition of marriage. Gays have the right to marry people of the opposite sex just like everybody else, so they do have the "same rights" as all citizens do. This video has been a topic of much discussion on an Episcopal church related blog I frequent. The blog is a conservative blog that discusses topics relevant to the recent (since 2003) rift in The Episcopal Church (TEC) caused by the elevation of an openly gay man to bishophood in New Hampshire (side note: the gay bishop incident was the icing on the cake following 40+ years of TEC drifting away from scriptural authority, but I digress). Although a conservative blog, it has it's share of liberal-leaning folks who post there. As expected, those on the "left" blamed the woman for being there and were glaringly silent about the disrespectful, harrasing and assaulting behavior perpetrated by the gay advocates. It is my opinion that those who are pushing for "gay rights" have by and large crossed over the line and have become thugs with gang-like properties and behaviors. All that pent up anger at themselves is spilling over to other people. It's sad and frightening all at the same time.
Persecution of the church is here. We don't even have advocates in the so-called conservative Republican party. I'm preparing for hard times as a Christian. Our only hope is in Christ. Regarding the subject of this thread: as I have noted elsewhere here, I am a white woman, so I can only secondarily relate to the outrage black American should feel when the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community whines about their civil rights. Comparison with the fight of black Americans who were(are?) fighting discrimination based on race, a state over which the black American has no control, is RIDICULOUS in my opinion. Lifestyle/sexual preference is a CHOICE no matter what the LGBT agenda says. Being black (or white or Hispanic or Asian or whatever) is not a choice. I haven't been able to figure out why more black Americans haven't risen up in outrage.
Regarding "rights": IMHO, no one truly has any right to anything. Every thing we have down to every single breath we take is a gift from God, not a right. For me, this country would be much better served if all of us could get over the "it's my right" ego-centric attitude.
Please understand that I mean no disrespect to the civil rights movement and the sacrifices made for it. The civil rights movement wouldn't have been necessary had white America not assumed it had the "right" to have and do things black America did not.

Obama isn't a "traditionalist" when it comes to following the scripture in the bible. Obama and people like him believe the bible is like the constitution, it's living and breathing. Obama even said in his book "The ardacity of hope" that he hung around Marxist Professors while he was a student at Occidental College, so of course Marxist ideology is running through his mind. I know pronounce you "partners or spouses for life", that statement sounds so unnatural. Gay marriage is an oxymoron. My mother told me when I was young that everybody that goes to church isn't a religious person ally, and the devil is in the church just like he is outside of the church. A few years ago I heard that the former Governor Jim McGrevey of New Jersey was planning on becoming an Episcopal priest. I don't believe he denounced his gay lifestyle either. If gays can't come to the realization that their lifestyle chose is wrong and imoral, then they are only fooling themselves by thinking that them becoming priests is going to change anything. Every person on this planet is a sinner to one degree or another. Christians and non Christians alike pray for forgiveness of their sins. I read about the Episcopal split, I'm glad that the traditionalist were able to break away ally. I think we do Pamela. Governors Jindal and Palin are people of great faith. During the primaries, the only true social conservative that I saw was "Allen Keyes". Keyes is a man of spiritual substance, it was his packing that made him a non factor. I still don't know why Mike Huckabee gave up being a minister. During the campaign he was more interested in hocking his book and then speaking out on moral issues facing this country. I don't think a religious conservative has to wear his or her faith on their sleeves pamela, but I do believe they need to let the faith based community know that they are indeed being heard and will be represented. It didn't help during this election that conservative Jews and Christians voted for Obama. I still don't understand that. There is definitely a moral struggle going on in America. What people like Madonna did 20 years ago to get under the skin of the Catholic Church is almost considered tame in today's standards. For the last 12 years the Republican party ceased being conservative. It's amazing that Republicans held on the congress as long as they did seeing that they lost their conservative way once Clinton left the White House.They need to go back to the platform of "family values", because that is what worked for them and will again. The pasing of Prop 8 in a state like California shows that moral conservatism is still alive,it just needs a new set of torch bearers to promote it pamela, time will tell.

I can't believe they can't figure out the obvious pamela. McCain was nothing more then a pro life liberal. The reason why he lost was because
1. He alienated the conservative base 3 years ago by calling us racists and natives for opposing the amnesty bill.
2. He alienated the base by forming the gang of 14 to obstruct conservative judgeship nominations.
McCain has always been a thorn in the conservatives side. At one time he took a swipe at Christian voters. If it wasn't for his pick of Palin, it would have been much worse then a 7% lose. Pamela please tell them to look at the historic facts for the last 28 years. Reagan won two landslide victories running as a conservative. Bush 41 was elected on the coattails of Regan's conservative revolution. Bush 41 lost when he became liberal on his tax policy. Republicans captured control of congress in 1994 running as conservatives with the contract with America. The welfare reform pledge was pure conservatism and it worked. They need to know that when Republicans lost their focus and then became just like the Democrats, that was when they lost the midterms and now the White House. The age of the Republican fake conservative is over. If they want to win again, they need to first focus on fielding a hungry field of conservative candidates for congressional runs in 2010, then focus on not repeating the disaster with McCAIN or Bush style candidates.That is how they will win.
McCain won among independents but he lost among Republicans. Reagan never pandered for independents, his message naturally appealed to them. McCain was so business trying to pigeon hole his message, he turned off a lot Republicans. The only reason why most of us that did turn out and voted for him wasn't because we liked McCain, he just wasn't Obama. McCain didn't have a base to build on.
Pamela, the 2010 crop of Republican candidates would be well advised to meet with true conservatives like Senator Jim Demint of South Carolina. He could definitely tell them what they need to do to win.

Thanks pamela, I'm curious what the responses will be. If the Republicans were to spend a month at the Reagan Library and read all of his speeches and learned about his thoughts on the role of government, they would have no problem in 2010 regaining control pamela. With all of these bailouts happening, Republicans have a golden issue to run on in 2010 along with Obama acting like the new age version of FDR. These are the issues that are ready made for Repbulicans to campaign on 1. The size of government 2. The bailouts 3. The national debt ballooning in the last 60 days. 4. What exactly is there to be "tolerant" about ducky? Homosexuality is an "alternative" lifestyle that they chose to live. Nobody cares what two adults decide to do behind closed doors, it's when they try to change the definition of a traditional union in order validate their abnormal lifestyle then it becomes an issue. You can call it bigotry all like ducky, but the facts weight out.

1. McCain was running against the legacy of George Bush.
2. Obama was able to energize his liberal kooks.
3. McCain had a fractured unenergized Republican base with about 20% staying home.
These are the problems poor little Obama is going to face. H
1. He won't be able to turn arund the economy, because his thinking is a carbon copy of Jimmy Carter. Matter of fact, the economy is going to get worse.
2. He nor Democrats will have George Bush to use as a rallying cry in 2010 and 2012. Democrats are going to hav to take responsibility and run on their records. No big bad Bushy to blame to time around.
3. Republicans in the midterms come together under a strong conservative message will regain power just like in 1994.
4. For every Carter aka Obama and new Reagan must follow
