The lipstick wearing pitbull is going for the kill against Obamacare.

Sarah Palin has become more of threat and a nemesis to Obama now then she was during the campaign last year. She rocked Obama and the liberal establishment, when she used the term "death panels" to describe the "end of care" language in the House and Senate bills. They tried to mock her, but she responded by posting verbatim what exactly was in the House bill. Because of her actions, the end of life language was taken out of the Senate bill. It looks like Palin is on the attack again. This time I think she smells blood and is going for the kill against Obamacare. We all know that no true health care reform can happen until tort reform is addressed. I've said this many times. Great minds do think a like. Sarah Palin mentioned it today. The topic of tort reform has barely been mentioned throughout this debate, and that is what Obama wanted to happen. He doesn't want the issue of tort reform to become apart of the national debate. By Sarah Palin now bringing it up, it can't help not to be addressed now as an issue. Obama has come out against any type of tort reform. Trail Lawyers are a special interest group of the Democratic Party. Obama and Biden are both lawyers themselves. This is why I'm saying that Sarah Palin has gone for the kill against Obamacare. Americans aren't big fans of lawyers to begin with. If it is shown to the American people how the rise in health care costs are directly related to junk medicine lawsuits, Obama would look like the defender of the problem instead of the person with the solution to the problem. Palin actually has given the Republicans the perfect weapon to use against Obama. Health care costs and frivolous lawsuits go hand and hand. Republicans have already positioned themselves on the side of the American people in not supporting the government option. Republicans can go even further in destroying Obamacare. All they have to do is come out and say "they will support a bipartisan bill, "BUT" the bill must not include the government option and must address tort reform. That is all they have to say. Those two provisions are a knockout punch. Obama and liberal Democrats will never go for either provision. That will once again put Democrats at odds with the majority of Americans.

I agree - hopefully, like with the 'death panels', Palin can shed some light on what we really need for health care reform.

I gotta admit, though, I chuckled when you said "great minds think alike" in regards to you and Palin. lol I think you're the first person I've heard do that :)

Have a good weekend.

Go Sarah Palin. I'm glad she exposed Obamacare's odious nature. How it was anything but actual reform.

I agree all Sarah Palin has to do is mention how trial lawyers affect the cost of healthcare with frivolous lawsuits and the Democrats would be in hot water!

Tyrone,

Good analysis. As a fellow Marylander and Palin supporter, I can only hope that some of the other 49 states pull us out of this mess in 2010 and 2012. After Cardin beat Steele and O'Malley beat Erlich in 2006, I lost what little hope I had left for MD.

I found your site from a link at:

Plus you should check out:

since it seems that you are a Palin fan.

God Bless...

CB;"They tried to mock her, but she responded by posting verbatim what exactly was in the House bill".

Here's the bill. Show me where a "death panel" is stated or even implied...verbatim!!

Thus far "NOT ONE" reliable media source has endorsed or committed publicly to the assertion that H.R. 3200 contains a provision for death panels... NOT ONE!

If you can't prove something unequivocally, constant assertions become the equivalent of propaganda.

Sarah Palin's handlers are attempting to position her as the "anti-Obama" candidate. For the Palin faithful, the lies are working well. Yet, as I've stated before, it is disingenuous to "make up" lies about the bill, instead of challenging the bill on it's actual merits.

I've read the entire bill now and I've found several provisions I don't like, and several provisions I truly like. As with most government implemented programs, there's going to be good and bad effects. The one thing to which we all can agree is that far too many people in this country have no health care at all.

The World Health Organization ranked the U.S. health system 37th in the world in 2000. I'm sure that that ranking has dropped even lower since. Rather you like it or not, eventually the government will have to do "something" about health care in the United States.

Allen, I thought you would have figured it out by now.

When Sarah Palin said "death panels", it was just a turn of phrase she used to try to get people's attention focused on the end of life provision in the health care bill. Especially the fact that it was very inappropriate to have such a provision in a health care bill as I discussed in my comments in a previous post. She was right obviously, and the provision was removed.

She did not say that the actual words "death panels" were in the bill. Most people figured out that "death panels" was just a turn of phrase.

By the way, why is the left so threatened by Sarah Palin? It makes no sense at all. She loves this country just like every other patriotic citizen and is just trying to do what she thinks is best for the country.

Lovebug;"Especially the fact that it was very inappropriate to have such a provision in a health care bill as I discussed in my comments in a previous post. She was right obviously, and the provision was removed".

Lovebug, my problem with Palin's input was not the idea of rather it was appropriate to have an "end of life" provision in the bill. My concern is the idea that she fraudulently labeled the provision as;

"one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel” so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their “level of productivity in society,” whether they are worthy of health care".

That charge is PATENTLY FALSE!

Again, my challenge to you is to "PROVE" where in H.R. 3200 it states, suggests or implies that such an event as she outline's would or could occur! The bill is on-line, you have access to a computer and the bill.... All I'm asking you to do is PROVE IT!

Moreover, the provision was removed to appease those who made the ignorant claim. Mind you, I particularly didn't care for the President's knuckling under to such foolishness. However I can understand why. End of Life counseling is not an extremely important provision in insuring health care for all Americans.

Hell, if Palin found a provision that she thought would give free abortions exclusively to Moose and Elk, and conservatives rallied against the provision, I'd remove it to appease them too!

I don't believe the left is "threatened" by Sarah Palin, because it doesn't make sense!

It's not that the left are really threatened. The nonsense comes from those on the right who believe the left is threatened!

Almost every single Sarah Palin detractor I've read or heard from refers to her as an "idiot" and an "airhead." I've never view a half-wit, ignoramus, imbecile, moron, nitwit, buffoon or a clown as a "threat."

Now if she were elected official in my jurisdiction, I might feel a bit threatened by what she could do. Thank god that's not the case. But a threat in her current capacity...hardly! The only thing's she's inspired thus far is a non-existent belief in a "death panel." (also being able to see Russia from her front porch!)

Don't take this personally allen, but you liberals are as clueless as clueless can get. Sarah Palin NEVER EVER said that "she could see Russia from her house". Here's a QTIP to clean out your ears. I know liberals are drones, but please be the exception in this case allen. Read these words very carefully.

Tina Fey from Saturday Night live made the parody saying "I can see Russia from my house". Sarah Palin said " You can see RUSSIA from ALASKA". You liberal try to make fun of Sarah thinking she said something that SOMEONE ELSE SAID!!!lol The laugh is on you liberals not Palin allen. How many million other liberals who mock Palin believe the exact same thing you did?

ROFLMAO!!!

Sarah Palin says that a provision in H.R. 3200 will, "make her parents or her baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s death panel."

If Palin believes in a "death panel", I surely can believe she said, "that she can see Russia from her front porch" because that exactly something Sarah Palin would say!! Tina Fey was just repeating it...(LOL x 1000!)

You can once again try and take attention off of the FACT that Palin never said "she could see alaska from her house" allen. As for the "death panels" She used that term instead of the "end of life counsel" which are still one and the same. Allen no need to get "we weeded up", because liberals thought she said something that she didn't.

Palin said what is truly needed for Health Care reform. She was spot on when she talked about needing tort reform first and foremost. So many of her haters are focusing on the wording she used in describing "government end of life counseling". I scratch my head in bewilderment and shock that they actually looked in the bill just too find out that words "death panel" isn't in there. These people aren't wrapped too tight lol

Tomorrow I believe the talk radio shows local and national are going to pick up on Palin's tort reform lead in Chilerkle. Now that Obama is partying up with the wealthy liberal elites in Martha Vineyard, he won't be around to lie and get "wee weed up" over tort reform entering the health care debate.

Thank you Hugh and welcome aboard. Maryland is an odd state. If Baltimore City, Prince Georges County and Montgomery County didn't exist, Maryland would be a red conservative state. It's just those three zombie zones that are the problems. Martin O'Rotten's approval numbers haven't been good for awhile. I think it will all come down to who runs against in him that will determine if he wins re election. I hope he doesn't win. I can't stand him. I kind of wished that Hillary would have won the nomination, because I knew Martin was trying to hitch a ride on her coattails. If that would have meant being able to get rid of O'Malley, I would have been all for it!!

Are you being ignorant on purpose allen? Sarah Palin never said she can see russia from her house, that was Tina Fey. Have you liberal's hatred blinded you all to reality? I think it has. Is "wee weed up" an "Obamaism" allen? I know the left's tin foil is wrapped pretty tightly around your heads. That explains the lack of blood flow to brains. Rationality and analytical thinking becomes the first to suffer. No matter how much you wish or try to convince yourselves of it. You can make up somehting and pass it off as a fact. This is what's "made up";

" my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s “death panel”.
-Sarah Palin, Friday, August 7, 2009 at 1:26pm, on Facebook-

From the verbiage written in the "End of Life" provision in H.R. 3200, neither you, nor Palin, can prove the existence of a "death panel" that her parents or Down Syndrome baby would have to stand in front of!

You believe there is. So, the fact is Palin "MADE IT UP"!

(b) Expansion of Physician Quality Reporting Initiative for End of Life Care-

End of Life care is the Death Panels allen. Geez you are thick!!!

‘(A) IN GENERAL- For purposes of reporting data on quality measures for covered professional services furnished during 2011 and any subsequent year, to the extent that measures are available, the Secretary

SHALL INCLUDE QUALITY MEASURES ON END OF LIFE CARE AND "ADVANCED CARE PLANNING". that have been adopted or endorsed by a CONSENSUS-BASED ORGANIZATION, if appropriate. Such measures shall measure both the creation of and adherence to orders for life-sustaining treatment.

If you can't figure it out, you are the one with the problem not Palin.

Cb;"End of Life care is the Death Panels allen. Geez you are thick!!!.

Should I thank Betsy McCaughey‎ now or later for your "borrowing" of her nonsense from page 432 of the bill??

And actually that portion of the bill concerns "IN GENERAL.—For purposes of reporting data on quality measures." Be that as it may, I'll go ahead and "rip apart" your (and McCaughey's) blatant lies.

Tyrone, none of what you listed states nor "implies" the creation or existence of a "death panel."! You and Betsy are not reading it as it is written, which in turn leads you to "PURPOSELY" misinterpret the provision. It more simpler terms...YOU ARE LYING!!

Why would did you include this portion of the provision;

Such measures shall measure both the creation of and adherence to orders for life-sustaining treatment.

I know you can read, but obviously your reading comprehension is lacking. Prior to that statement is there a reference to "end of life care that has been adopted and endorsed by a consensus based organization such as
Hospice"
. This means that Hospice or a similar organizations "end of life care methods could be applied, AND ONLY IF APPROPRIATE! (only a DOCTOR can make the medical determination of when, or if Hospice care is appropriate.)

Secondly, it says the group (eg. Hospice) shall measure (meaning how the care will be applied) "the creation of and adherence to orders for life-sustaining treatment." That statement is blatantly self explanatory!

Mind you, a very stupid person could misinterpret "measuring life sustaining treatment", to mean not giving none at all! Here's the rub;

THE MEASURE COULD HAVE STATED "DOES NOT HAVE TO ADHERE TO", OR "NON-TREATMENT" OR THE STATEMENT COULD HAVE BEEN LEFT OUT ALL TOGETHER! Which then could have been interpreted as refusing a dying patient treatment.

Doctors in many states give Do Not Resuscitate (DNR) orders on terminally ill patients if they deem it medically fit.

I won't even ask you to try again Tyrone. You'd be wasting your time. "Death Panels" or anything vaguely similar was not in the bill.

Just be happy that the bogus right-wing lies worked in shaking up the process. It's just blows my mind how Sarah Palin, the stupidest person in the Republican party, comes up with an insane notion an the entire right-wing rides it into the sunset.

I love pig feet ,maws, chitterlings, brains, tails, ears. with greens cold slaw and whatever loool. Muslims are trying to remove pig from america and many stores dont even have pig products.
