Barbara Bush and Karl Rove are the ones who need to "stay home" not Palin.

I've made it no secret that I support and dare I say am a fan of Sarah Palin. I like Palin for a very simple reason, the woman is REAL. She isn't a typical garden variety fake, appeasing politician who doesn't stand for anything other then saying anything to get a elected. It's really no wonder why she has such strong roots within the tea party movement. I get asked all the time be dim witted liberals and even so called conservatives whether I would really support Palin if she decides to run for the nomination, my answer has always been yes. That answer has always taken Palin critics and haters by surprise to this day. I would usually ask a question of my own as a follow up to my answer. I ask them "can they name any factual reasons based on her job performance as a mayor and governor that would warrant me not supporting her and disqualifying her to be considered electable". None have yet to answer that question. All they could say is either" come one" or "are you serious"? Then I would ask the question again, and again they won't or can't give me the answer. I'm bringing this up now, because I saw this evening on the ABC Nightly News their transparent hit piece on Palin trying as usual to disguise their attack as journalism, They played a clip of their new darling and new useful idiot former first lady Barbara Bush in an interview on CNN in which Barb said that Palin should "stay in Alaska".

To top that all off, the neo con GOP hack Karl Rove claimed that "he doubts whether Palin has a thick enough skin to become President". I took the hot coals to Karl's ass a month ago. It looks like I'm going to have to do it again. There are many people who thought that George W Bush wasn't suitable to be president, yet, he turned out to be a two term president. The difference with Bush as compared to Palin is that W was in the good graces of the GOP establishment. Obviously Sarah is playing by her own rules that doesn't sit well with the ruling class elites within the GOP, and she is ruffling the feathers of the political pundits who are use to a "traditional candidate" mold and that candidate following certain procedures for running for president. The latest attacks on Palin is coming on the eve of her new book coming out Tuesday entitled "America By Heart". It's really no surprise that the media and the many Palin critics have to somehow throw some cold water on Palin to somehow try and keep her from getting hot prior to what is geared to be another best selling book tour. As I've said from day one, I know how the political and media game is played. The media and other anti Sarah trolls are foaming at the mouth at the real possibility that Bristol Palin could win in the finale of Dancing With The Stars tomorrow night. I have to go back to the comments by Barbara Bush for a moment. Many conservatives wished that Reagan never picked Herbert Walker to be his running mate in 1980. Reagan is remembered with great fondness for being a principled conservative where as Bush 41 was knowing for riding the coat tails for Reagan and ultimately making it possible for Bill Clinton to become president in 1992. That is one of the fewest major blunders that Reagan ever committed. Many wished that Herbert Walker along with Barbara would have stayed in Massachusetts. The reason why anti Sarah Palin snipes can't debate me and her supporters on the issue of Sarah Palin's qualifications to be president is, because the arguments that go in her favor are all based on facts where as the negatives are based on opinions, gossip, smears and lies. Palin has earned the right to run for the GOP nomination. She in essence saved the GOP from it's certain death as a national party. While she has been going after Obama, Pelosi, Reid and others on their failed polices, other potential 2012 GOP candidates have been silently standing by watching trying to keep their powder dry. Frankly, I don't respect that. Why are they waiting for a certain time to speak out? Palin was doing it when it wasn't deemed popular to do so when Barry was first elected. I chuckle when I hear liberals claim that a Palin nomination will all but certain mean a second term of Obama. Bush 43 was considered a "dunce", "dummy","D grade student", "retarded" etc ,yet he still became not only president but a two term president at that. So if the strategy by the left and the big government, necon right is to use the art of tabloid journalism against Palin in an attempt to stop her, they might want to rethink their strategy. Rove has no credibility among true conservatives seeing that he helped George W Bush get elected in the first place. With the trust by the nation of the national media at an all time low, that onslaught of negative news by the media isn't going to work. What people seem to be forgetting is that "2012 isn't about Sarah Palin", It's about whether Barack Obama "is worthy of a second term based on his record". Seeing that the 2012 cycle unofficially kicked off the day after the midterms, I know I will have plenty more to say about the sufferers of SPODS, "Sarah Palin Obsession Disorder Syndrome" if she decides to run.

Okay Tyrone, Palins your candidate...fine! However that doesn't negate the opinions of folks who thinks she's unfit, or just don't like her.

But don't you think it's kind of odd that there are so many Republicans (past and present) who have come out publicly slamming her? There must be something about her that they just don't like. Honestly, I can't think of any other former first lady who's spoke negatively of a possible presidential candidate, especially one from their own party!! There has to be something that they know that you don't.

I think that the problem with Palin is that simply, she's an airhead. I'm one who believes that in politics "you never get a second chance, to make a good first impression." My very first impression of Palin (and still to this day) is that she's not very bright. Almost every comment she's made concerning pertinent political policies and or queries into her personal intellect, have shown that she is not competent to handle the rigors of being president.

I also believe that the Palin enthusiasm is a result of "wedge politics" becoming a main stream addiction for some in the Republican party. Religious beliefs coupling the abortion issue, stem cell research, gay rights, immigration reform, public education, and in certain area's, racial issues have claimed a faction within the party.

All one need's to do is just say; "I'm against abortion, against illegal immigrants (and their offspring's), against government health care, against gay rights and against government schools...ohhh, and don't forget, I'm against the socialist, Marxist, communist, racist, Muslim, terrorist President Obama...and voilà, you're candidate material for the highest political office in the land!! Does it matter that you don't know the difference between a continent and a country...? NOOOOOO!

Mind you that Sarah Palin was elected governor behind the "Corrupt Bastards Club" oil pipeline scandal of prior Alaskan Gov. Frank Murkowski. Still, not two years into office Palin quits amidst scandals of her own. I don't think that there has been one person elected president that "quit" their prior political position before winning the election, let alone before even announcing to run!!

Tyrone you've said that you think that a president should first be elected state governor in order to be an effective leader. I don't agree. However if you believe so, then Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton should be on your list of effective hero's!

If another candidate comes along that I believe will represent my views more, then I will support that candidate. You just said the keep word allen. That word is people "opinion". People can come to form an opinion based on wrong information or flat out lies. There were blacks that formed opinions that George Bush was a racist. Were their opinions valid? No they weren't. The sad thing about liberals and tabloid journalism is that it can be affective in character assassination. As for people not liking her? What did she say that would give people a valid reason not to like her allen? Also, define what is considered "fit" in order to be president. The thought that a prior state and local executive isn't considered "fit" to be president where as a person who had no executive experience is now in the white house just doesn't add up to me.

I don't think it's odd at all. Reagan had to deal with the same thing. Republicans who are the middle of the road types tend to be in the good graces of the GOP establishment. Bush 41 and 43 weren't true conservatives, neither were Dole an McCain. I remember how the Democratic establishment hung Hillary out to try once Obama came along. The reason the GOP lost power in 2006 was because it lost focus of what it was suppose to stand for. Palin is a principled conservative, and that is what freaks out the GOP insiders like Rove, Barbara Bush and others. I bet if Barbara was asked how she felt about Reagan, I bet the truth would come out. As for Barb speaking out, Barabara Bush never held any political office that I know of. Her opinion on palin means as much to conservatives as a penny being applied to the nation debt. What many palin haters don't get is that the remarks by Barb only makes Palin supporters like Palin even that much more. I have not doubt that Barbara Bush supported John McCain in the GOP primaries. So what she has to say mean hum dittley do squat to me.

p allen "I think that the problem with Palin is that simply, she's an airhead."

Now that you got the name calling out of the way, how about you back that statement up with facts allen.
If the woman is truly an airhead, it would have been evident in her job performance as mayor and as governor, which is wasn't. Beside, you voted for MR. 57 states so do you really have room to talk about people who "airheads"?

p allen "?I'm one who believes that in politics "you never get a second chance, to make a good first impression." I'm from the school of thought that I vote for people who best represents my positions on issues. I'm not into the popularity bs. Obama won based on a popularity and an empty hope and change banner, now look at whats happening. The campaign is over, Obama is failing, and his own supporters are not at all pleased at him. Campaigning on image is way different then governing on substance allen. People in his own circle are leaking that the guy doesn't know what the hell he is doing. It's like duh, the guy had never run anything before prior to being elected American idol, I meant president.

p allen "I also believe that the Palin enthusiasm is a result of "wedge politics" becoming a main stream addiction for some in the Republican party. So Palin is suppose to keep quiet about her faith? The issues I've been hearing Palin talk about are the debt, deficits, QE2, Obamacare, foreign policy, trade policy etc. So keep trying to move the bar allen. I'm not buying it. Also, there is no such thing as "immigration" reform. I caught the wording you used. It's about illegal alien security and deportation laws.

p allen "All one need's to do is just say; "I'm against abortion, against illegal immigrants (and their offspring's), against government health care, against gay rights and against government schools...ohhh, and don't forget, I'm against the socialist, Marxist, communist, racist, Muslim, terrorist President Obama...and voilà, you're candidate material for the highest political office in the land!! So claiming that you and others are against a so called" bimbo, whore, slut, bitch, cunt, airhead, milf etc" makes you all people of good judgment on who does make for a good president? Don't make me laugh harder then I'm already doing. Also who said that Palin didn't know the difference between a continent and a country. Give the person's name allen. 98% of all the tails that have been told about Palin have come from "anonymous" sources. I could say that I have anonymous sources that claim that Obama had a gay affair while he was state senator in Illinois. Get my point?

It's hilarious to me how the left prides itself on being pro woman and pro minority but the instant anyone who belongs either category doesn't follow the party line they become a legitimate target for the left.

I support Sarah Palin because she's nothing like Obama or Bush! I think it's laughable how people who wanted change from the Bush years voted for a guy who makes Bush look like Reagan.

CB;"Now that you got the name calling out of the way, how about you back that statement up with facts allen".

Sure!!

"As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where– where do they go?".

--Palin, explaining why Alaska's proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience.

"my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society".

Palin was unable to name a single newspaper or magazine she reads in an interview with Katie Couric. Her supporters claim that Couric gave her a "trick question".

"I think on a national level your Department of Law there in the White House would look at some of the things that we've been charged with and automatically throw them out."

--Palin referring to a department that does not exist while attempting to explain why as president she wouldn't be subjected to the same ethics investigations that compelled her to resign as governor of Alaska.

Palin, didn't know the vice president's constitutional role getting it wrong after being asked by a third grader what the vice president does".

Palin, admitted that her family used to get treatment in Canada's single-payer health care system, despite having demonized such government-run programs as socialized medicine that will lead to death-panel-like rationing.

Palin didn't know that Hawaii is Americans largest island mass. She made claim that it was Kodiak Island in Alaska.

After using the word "refudiate" Palin compared herself to William Shakespeare.

No, I don't "get the point." You have no point because the guy who made this claim is as anonymous as a fat lady posing as a size 5 runway model. Larry Sinclair even made a You Tube video... How "anonymous" can he be??

They must definitely are hate filled Sojournerlove. They hate Sarah Palin so much that they are issuing death threats against Bristol just, because she may win a dance contest. Funny how liberals have to audacity to call conservatives the "extremists". lol lol How mentally deranged and pathetic are these people? I psycho path liberal shot his television just because Bristol advanced to the finals. This is why I don't take what liberals say about Sarah Palin not being qualified seriously. It's all based on nothing but emotion. The facts are void to liberals

God forbid that Palin ever comes close to winning the White House.

But if she does she should only be attacked in the same fashion as President Obama.

-Pundits should repeatedly declare that she is a "racist" without regard to any evidence or facts.

-During The State of The Union address, or during any address to congress, representatives from the floor can yell out and call her a liar.

-Any legislation she attempts to pass will be deemed "socialist, fascist, dictatorial, anti-American, etc..., regardless of what it is.

-Her affiliation with Kenyan Witch Doctor Rev. Muthee should be attacked as her being involved with witchcraft.

-Major pundits on the left shall decree that "I hope she fails."

-Her husbands past dealings with the secessionist "Independence Party" shall be fodder for constant attacks citing his "hatred of America" and his un-American activities.

-The far-fringe-left can refer to her as "white trash" or any other vile name they can come up with.

-Far left attacks shall continue with attacks on her children, and her son Trig being the actual child of her daughter Bristol.

-During any type of rally or protest against her administration, signs shall be displayed depicting all of the above!

In the interest of "fair play", the only attacks that shall be allowed are those of the same context, or similar to those which were directed at President Obama.

Agreed?

PALIN: But obviously, we’ve got to stand with our North Korean allies. We’re bound to by treaty –

CO-HOST: South Korean.

PALIN: Eh, Yeah. And we’re also bound by prudence to stand with our South Korean allies, yes

Obama said they speak Austrian in Austria, Obama has his 57 states guffaw and many more.

As said in the article at politico.com , Palin had it right early in the interview and that was just a slip as we all do including a number of times the President has.

Those are the total facts here.

Nightrain;"Obama said they speak Austrian in Austria".

Not total fact at all...more like spin. Obama said I don't know what the term is in Austrian. Still, it is a bit of a gaffe. He should have said, "I don't know what the -Austrian term- is."

However, knowing President Obama's background, and his extensive travels around the world, do you honestly believe he thought that "Austrian" was the native language?

P. Allen, you folks already do most of that to Palin now and worse. Is this really the best you can do? Why is it only people on the left can get away with verbal gaffes and those on the right must be verbally perfect? Why is it that while Obama's kids are left alone (as they should be) Palin's kids are demonized?

Oh, that's right because she left the reservation and as an apostate is lower than dog spit. The hypocrisy you exhibit is immense, but that's pretty much par for the course with you.

As far as experience goes she's got far more than the POTUS has. She's run both a city and a state, which is far more than Obama ever did. And please don't go with the Alaska is a small state population wise, because neither was Arkansas.

Is she perfect? No. But I love watching you on the left go insane every time she says or does something. It's more entertaining than watching TV.

Vegas Guy;"The hypocrisy you exhibit is immense, but that's pretty much par for the course with you".

Having an opinion is not "hypocrisy" Vegas, it's an "opinion."

There are plenty of politicians that I have negative opinions of...on the right and the left. I'm beginning to form a negative opinion of President Obama, although not for the same reasons as "you folks" on the right.

As far as Palin goes, it's my "formed and informed opinion" that you don't care for. From day one she struck me as a dim-witted wanna be. Sure every one makes a gaffe from time to time, but with her it appears to be more like stupidity.

Above average intellect has never been a qualification for being a politician. However, I do expect a politician to have, at the very least, a handle on themselves when being asked simple and basic questions during an interview.

Palin actually thinks that because she ran Alaska she has "foreign policy experience"....she actually stated that to a major news outlet!!! If you think for one minute that running an Alaskan city, or the state gives you "foreign policy" credentials...YOU'RE AS STUPID AS SHE IS!!!

Vegas;"As far as experience goes she's got far more than the POTUS has. She's run both a city and a state".

That's a perfect example of what I'm talking about! Running a city or a state is not a qualification for President of the United States!! With all due respect Vegas, THAT'S JUST PLAIN STUPID!! When Palin said it, I thought it was stupid. And most people with a grain of common sense knows that running a city or a state makes has no bearing on how you should run the country....ask Jimmy Carter. Perhaps you should look to the Gov. of Nevada, Jim Gibbons. Hell, Mexico is just one state away...

Still, there have been "SEVERAL" (some successful, some not so much) POTUS that have never ran cities or states. Kennedy, Nixon, Eisenhower, L.B.J., G.W.H. Bush, are just a few names you should be familiar with. If Palin ever compares herself to anyone of those listed above, you best be sure that I, for one, will be at the head of the line calling her a nincompoop!
