Have you ever heard the President of the United States verbally trash a local police department before?
Well now you have. Last night during Obama's press conference, Obama took an insulting shot at the Cambridge Police Department because of the arrest of his friend Professor Henry Gates.
Barack strikes me as a person that is very "thinned skinned". He takes a lot of things personally, and he isn't use to not getting his way. I believe when he insulted the Cambridge Police Department last night, many people saw Barack Obama in a new light that wasn't very flattering or charming. It could be possible that the stress is starting to get to him. Sgt. James Crowley didn't take Obama's insult laying down. Today he called into the Dennis and Callahan show to give his side of the story.
The supporters of Henry Gates want Crowley to apologize. They're going to be waiting a very long while for that to happen if ever. Something tells me that Sgt. Crowley isn't an "appeaser" type of a person. I have a gut feeling that the media may have already started their "opposition research" on him to personally make his life as miserable as possible. I admire his courage and conviction, but he better keep one eye on Obama and another one on his loyal fanatics in the media.

As shameful as Obama's comments were, in some ways I am glad he made them. Why you may ask? Because every time Obama opens his mouth he looks more and more ridiculous. A lot of Americans including some in the media are starting to see what you and I have been saying for a year or so. That Obama is a train-wreck and a poor politician and his vision for America is not only a joke but flat-out wrong.
Referring to the Cambridge PD as "acting stupidly", I suppose if a black police officer were to arrest a white person in a similar way that Professor Gates has been acting, is that "acting stupidly"?
Was the Capitol Hill police officer "acting stupidly" when he arrested Rep. Cynthia McKinney, a lawmaker, who broke the law by bypassing security and assaulting the police officer? Like Gates, she accused him of racial profiling.
What about motorists (anybody of race and color) who get stopped for a traffic violation and would not cooperate with police after requesting for licensing and registration. Is that "acting stupidly"
As Caucasian, under personal experiences, I worked at a job which I would work late and would walk home. I would get stopped by the police (one time a black officer, another was an Asian, but the rest were white) just about every night because I was suspicious for walking late at night in a nice neighborhood; reports of a break-in or other things criminal. Tired and frustrated I was, I still cooperated with the police.
Here's an idea how we can stop racial profiling: have blacks arrest blacks; have whites arrest whites; have Asians arrest Asians; have Hispanics arrests Hispanics. Then maybe we stop playing this whole race card thing. Not that it's going to happen.
I said it once and I'll say it again, those who do play the race card, whether they are aware of it or not, are acting racist.
How low can Obama go? I don't think he can sink any lower! The police are doing their job and he's bashing them. I guess it's to cover his own ineptitude!
This is what bothers me tho most ... the elected leader of our country is so lacking in wisdom and judgement that he would comment when he is admittedly uninformed and biased ... and we have three more plus years ... God help us all!
Barbara i agree. The Democratic Socialist Party that most blacks belong plan to let all old black die after a certain. then the hispanics can live good and be young. Muslims men can had many wives and take over America as they said in Oak Lawn last week.
WAKE UP BLACK AMERICA OR BETTER STILL WAKE UP ALL AMERICA.
