A fantasy debate :Reagan vs Obama
The latest con job by Obama is him trying to come off echoing the late Ronald Wilson Reagan. Obama is no Reagan, and he will never even come remotely close to setting a political tone that President Reagan was famous for doiing, so the pretender in chief might as well quit while he is behind in his attempts. I've said as well as others that the presidency of Barack Obama is really nothing more then the second term of Jimmy Carter. So far, he has lived up to being just that. If anyone would like to see a contrast in style, substance and visions of America, all anyone has to do is watch the 1980 debate Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. Since Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama share the same progressive ideology on virtually every issue, there really isn't any difference between the two. I still wish I could witness a debate between Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama. It wouldn't be an easy moment in time for Obama. You think the guy stutters now when he doesn't have his teleprompter to read from, imagine Obama having to try and defend against the fierce and direct attacks by Reagan on Obama's support of the failed and flawed principals of liberalism. That debate will never happen, but this might be close second.

Renee, I didn't waste my time nor made any attempt to watch yet another carefully, scripted fruitless, state of the nation address, by this pro-abortion, gay rights, illegal alien supporting, political hack! What saddens me is watching a handful of so-called conservatives on the fox news channel, complimenting this man every now and then, for his contrived efforts of trying to appear as thoughh he is moving towards the center! knowing fully well, just what kind of policies both he and the demon-cratic party stand for, it doesn't seem logical, as to why any intelligent, trully conservative - Republican can walk away with the notion that a destructive, anti-Christian government-intruding politician can somehow advance our culture, while making believe that he can also unify us as a nation! How many of these individuals would routinally label a pro-traditional marriage, pro-life segregationist as a "centrist" or "moderate"? These terms are useless, and serve no real purpose in our current detrimental state. As long as these lukewarm Repuclicans are going to continually avoid publically criticizing Obama and his democrat base on their decades - long support for big government, tax-payer funded destructive, anti-traditional family social policies, expect more of the same, and a swift erosion, of our once, great nation.
You have a link to Michael Savage's page, I usually am not able to listen to him but I'd settle for him to debate the President, he was on fire last night, I catch a late rebroadcast when I can. Savage has his 37 point plan up at the link for his new book which I probably won't be reading soon but still he went over a lot of it on his show. Even to me, some of the things Savage has said has been a bit questionable on some lesser issues but for the State of the Union, SOTU, he was right on the mark.

At this point, Fox News has more true liberal commentators and panelists then they do conservatives. Hannity the only self professed conservative on Fox News that I know of, Huckabee is questionable. There are a lot of fake conservatives trying to pretend they are the real deal especially on Fox News. They're neo cons constantly trying to redefine true conservatism. I don't support them, and I have no use for them. The Republican Party castrated itself five years ago. It's too scared to bring up anything even remotely related to "social issues". They had a perfect chance to highlight the soaring gas prices under Obama, the rise in inflation under Obama, and they blew it.

Savage would destroy Obama in a debate. There is no doubt absolutely whatsoever in that. Savage is a true conservative who is a man and isn't afraid who doesn't pander to political correctness bs. He's so genuine, even Fox won't have him on. They'll have the fake conservatives on all day long but not the real ones.
You threw me off with fantasy DEBATE it's more like a fantsay beat down but without the gloating
