Did Trayvon Martin strike George Zimmerman first causing him to act in self defense?
If it is true that Trayvon Martin attacked George Zimmerman first and was on top of him beating him up, then that will change the whole narrative of what happened. According to an eye witness, Trayvon Martin attacked George Zimmerman from behind as Zimmerman was going back to his truck. A lot of people who have invested everything in Trayvon Martin are going to have egg on their faces if that is indeed what happened. I have to admit, I believed 100% that Zimmerman was the one who was attacked, but now I am not so sure. I think I am going to just take a wait and see on the outcome. The Sanford Police Department is claiming that the eye witness saw it all, and claimed that Zimmerman was in the right. It's being reported that the eye witness's account of what happened matches with what Zimmerman said happened. If the Sanford police believes that the eye witness is credible combined with the evidence they have, this could very well be the reason why George Zimmerman hasn't been arrested or charged. Many of the people who support Tayvon believed that it was Tayvon who was yelling for help on the 911 tape, but Police is saying that it was Zimmerman who was yelling for help instead. I was told many times that if Obama didn't win the election back in 2008, there were going to be riots in the streets. So now I have to wonder if Zimmerman isn't charged based on the eye witness account and evidence that supports his claim, will this be in our future? God I hope not.

The only way that the witnesses story and Zimmerman's testimony can be accurate would be a polygraph test; however, polygraphs are not admissible in court.
Also, earlier I would like to comment as to why there is not much outrage over black on black crime. The simple reason is that it's not politically correct and there is no money to be made.
If you would notice that celebrities like Jim Brown and Bill Cosby who take a stand against black on black crime or blacks acting irresponsibly, they get shut out and condemned by the likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the NAACP.
Because if, like the title of this blog spot, when the rest of Black America wakes up, these race baiters would be put out of business forever. The way they make their money is exploiting racism and falsely accusing others and ruining their lives by suing them.
If we need to stop black on black crime, we need to stop these people from preventing it to happen.
Tomorrow, across the nation, people will be asked at rallies to honor Trayvon Martin by wearing hoodies, carry a bag of Skittles and a can of iced tea. Looks like martyrdom has begun.
If I was a victim of a similar crime like this, which I hope not, don't martyr me like this! All I ask is justice be served.
Suddenly out of the blue, after a full month of this incident being reported by almost every news outlet on the face of the earth, comes the news of a previously unknown witness?????
Here's the Police Report. In it, there's no mention of an "eye-witness" to the struggle between Trayvon and Zimmerman.
I first read about this incident about a week after it occurred. I didn't pay it much attention because the reporting of the story was sketchy at best.
The story gained national attention after the release of the 911 tapes. A few days later it was reported that Trayvon was on his cell phone with his girl friend during the incident. According to the girl, Trayvon told her that he was being followed, and that he (himself) was weary of the person following him. It was then, and only then did I come to conclude that Zimmerman was WRONG! Those are the undisputed facts.
The Sanford Police Dept. has a lot to lose now that the case has gone "viral." As the case stands now, they look like a bunch of incompetent fools.
This is beginning to get even crazier....
Lets suppose Trayvon did attack Zimmerman. Okay, let's look at what we do know.
1. Zimmerman admitted he was following Trayvon, and further knew the Trayvon had noticed him as he followed. Known facts from the 911 tapes.
2. Trayvon way on the phone with his girlfriend just minutes before he was shot. Phone records prove this.
If Trayvon attacked Zimmerman he did so because he felt threatened and felt he had to defend himself. Yet it still does not give credence to killing the boy. Zimmerman followed, stalked nad engaged Trayvon, that much is clear.
To say that Zimmerman acted in self defense, is to say that it is legal in Florida to follow someone you don't like, draw them into a confrontation and kill them.

It's true that we as blacks do tend to "over react" when facing racial bias. Yet this overreaction is mainly due to the history of racism in this country. That's not to say that history is an "excuse" for overreacting. The history is the "reason" we overreact.
I'll have to honest though. I truly believe that race played a factor in this incident. If the exact same circumstances (eg. 17 year old innocent white boy killed while visiting a parent in a gated community), a more thorough investigation would have ensued following the incident. Moreover, had Trayvon been a white boy wearing a hoodie, jeans and sneakers, the confrontation possibly would have never occurred.
Discuss but we are currently awash in facts coming in all the time....

Dang Sure this needs to be fully investigated, I once lived in apartments where we had to go through a security guard station but he didn't have a pistol. We don't even know if Zimmerman, neighborhood watchman was wearing any kind of uniform, ID badge like a security officer would for instance. Even if a Cop fires his revolver in the line of duty shooting nothing but air, I think that usually calls for an investigation. It's downright scary that someone could have this semi-official role NOT saying he broke the law but still. Gingrich , I agree with Gingrich that this is NOT about what color the victim is or who he looked like. This issue applies to all Americans. By the way, some white youth from Mississippi did get convicted last week for selecting a black man to run over , point being, well, crime is committed by all. I guess the big hub bub about this case is no prosecution, I really really can not see how it could be left at that and how extensive the investigation was though maybe it followed Florida law all the same. It's scary to think one could walk anywhere and someone could be an unofficial guard and have a pistol he could shoot you with, that's a lot of the outrage here.

So the "new witness" only identified as "John", saw an altercation, said I'm going to call 911- heard a gunshot- saw someone laying on the ground- but didn't call 911 and tell them what he saw? (I've listened to the released calls, and no one tells the operator that they saw them fighting)
This whole ordeal has turned into a circus. The bottom line is this;
Zimmerman is not a police officer. He had no right to leave his vehicle and confront Trayvon Martin. "Whatever" happened between him and Trayvon after he was told not to follow or make contact, makes him totally responsible for Trayvons death.
Tragic and probably avoidable. Wish it hadn't happened.

Looking at the video of the riots, it reminds me every time, if members in the black community do not get their way, they will incite a riot.
If OJ Simpson was convicted of murdering is wife and friend, they will riot.
If Barrack Obama is not elected as President of the United States, they will riot.
Now, suppose if George Zimmerman would not be tried and convicted of the murder of Trayvon Martin, would there be a threat of a riot?

This is where you are wrong. I think you don't have a firm grasp on what a 'right' is in this country. Of course he had a right to ask what Trayvon is doing, etc... Just as equally Trayvon would have had the right to not tell him.
The real question that has to be answered is simply this. Did the incident meet the requirments called for by the self defense statute? If so then Zimmerman is a free man, although he may need to keep that gun close for the rest of his life if the number of death threats he's gotten, according to the news, is true.

Police dispatchers are not law enforcement officers! You are under NO obligation to follow ANY directive given to you by them. NONE! First off, the dispatcher is not on the scene so at best has a poor grasp on what is actually going on, and what the situation truly is.
Here's a small example for you, if you need one.
When the WTCs were hit by the aircraft, guess what the 911 dispatchers advice was to people in the buildings ? They were told to STAY WHERE THEY WERE, and to await emergency personnel. People who diregarded this "order" lived to see another day, many of those who stayed put, like sheep, did not. Simply put, people at the scene typically have a better grasp of whats goign on and what needs to be done than some person sitting in a call center, miles away.
Lets just all hope that people use more common sense in the wake of whatever decisions are made by the courts and prosecutors. I doubt it though, to be totally honest. There are simply too many examples of what mobs do when they have been whipped to a frenzy by events and so called 'community leaders'.
I myself am glad I don't live in a large urban area any more, and I hope those of you who do come thru this all right.

I've noticed. Even Bill Cosby who has done more for blacks and black charities has been called a sellout for merely telling black men to act like black men. Black race pimps and their white progressive overseers want to make blacks believe that the only people who are denying them and obstructing them in life from getting ahead are "white Republican mainly conservatives". Sometimes when I drive through certain neighborhoods in Baltimore, I just sake my head. I wish I knew where the rally was going to be. I would go to see if anyone was carrying some sour skittles. I love those things. I'm sure the M&M/Mars corporation is loving this free publicity for Skittles. Who knows, maybe that might come out with Trayvon Martin edition pack. I understand everything you said allen, BUT BUT BUT that all becomes worthless if it is proven that Trayvon jumped Zimmerman from behind as he was going back to his truck. Let's be real allen. Blacks aren't pissed, because of how long the investigation has taken, they are pissed because they want George Zimmerman in jail.

Walking in the opposite direction of a person and then getting jumped form behind from that person is grounds for self defense allen. Sorry, everything else leading up to that become irrelevant! Oh come off of it allen!! Is there a history of Hispanic on Black racism? Zimmerman is Hispanic not white. I said many times over the years that many blacks still feel like we are living in the 1960's instead of 2012. Duh allen, come on. Of course the crimes would have been investigated differently, because it would have been two completely different scenarios of each crime. Since Trayvon did look like a thug, it is only logical that Zimmerman looked at him in a different light then he would have a 17 year old white kid. Why do you think the media and Trayvon's supporters keep using pictures of when he was 12 and 13 years old instead of the ones on his face book page at 17? It comes down to public perception. If people saw his facebook pictures, I guarantee a certain percentage of those who now support him, would start to question whether he was up to no good just based on how he appeared. Your WTC analogy is hardly a comparison. No one was trapped in a burning building that night in Sanford, Florida. Here's a better example;
You're an "armed" neighborhood watch guy and you see what you believe is a suspicious character roaming about. You call 911, and the dispatcher tells you not to engage the suspect. What would you do?
a. Wait for the police
b. Ignore the dispatcher and engage the suspect and get into an physical altercation, then shoot and kill him only to find out he's just a kid visiting his father.

Here's a scenario for you Tyrone;
Just as the 911 tapes have shown, Zimmerman was following Trayvon. Trayvon saw Zimmerman and called his girlfiend and told her he was being followed, and was scared and decided it was time to run. Zimmerman left his truck in search of Trayvon saw him, and advanced to confront him. Not knowing who or what of Zimmermans intent when he approached, Trayvon believed he was about to be attacked. Perhaps instinctively, Trayvon pounced on Zimmerman. Zimmerman now believes he's being attacked, pulls his gun and shoots.
In most "urban areas" young boys live by the "Fight or Flight" rule. Being out of his element, Trayvon chose what he thought would be his best chance for survival. What he didn't know was that, Zimmerman was a not so savvy security minded lummox with a gun.
All that being said, there is only "ONE" way Trayvon this whole incident could have been avoided and Trayvon would have not been killed that night. That is if Zimmerman had just stayed in his car and allowed the police to do their job.
In my "humble opinion" Zimmerman, no matter how stupid he may be, took a young boys life needlessly and should be punished for doing so. Nothing less than "Negligent Homicide."

If you are out in a strange neighborhood on a rainy night, and someone who DOES live there asks you what you are doing there and you in answer take off and lose him and you then attack him from behind when he's returning to his vehicle, breaking his nose, etc... and he then shoots you.

As to my WTC analogy, it was meant to illustrate the silliness of listening to a person on a telephone - regardless of their position and training - when you are the person on the scene, and they are basically reading from a script and "have no skin in the game" so to speak.

You will notice they spoke with 6 witness' in addition to the subject, as well as being able to observe the scene immediately after the incident, and they were able to find no reason to suspect this was anything but a self defense shooting. If they had doubts or questions they would have surely made notes of such in the report.

I have lived long enough to see black progression, and now, black regression. I have always questioned the silence when it comes to blacks harming each other. Is a black life only worth marches and rallies when it is taken by a non-black? Several years ago in Chicago, Jackson's home town,a young man was beaten to death by a group of blacks, the incident was broadcast across America, he was just one of many school kids murdered in Chicago in a six month period, there was no national outrage in the black communities. Miami, Orlando, New Orleans, and other cities have become killing fields for our young men, the NAACP, churches and others have been silent. I agree with Cosby and Brown, black do not like to hear the truth, because it is easy to blame someone else for their problems. Jackson, Sharpton and some in the NAACP have made a living from hustling blacks, I've heard their rants for thirty plus years, and they have not changed, once a hustler, alweays a hustler. Sharpton once said, there is no such thing as black on black crime.

Either you're just not reading the report, or, you want Zimmerman to get away with killing an innocent 17 year old boy. (frankly, I believe it's the latter).
Look at the report again Anon. Take notice of the section that says "Offenses Section." Look to the left of the document under the the heading "Description." It clearly states;

MANSL-UNNESSARY KILLING TO
PREVENT UNLAWFUL ACT.
The report also cites Florida State Statute 782.11.
So Anon, if the report was filed under the pretense that Manslaughter or Negligent Homicide had occurred, how in the HELL did you come up with; "they were able to find no reason to suspect this was anything but a self defense shooting?" Are you trying to hide something.... "ANONYMOUS???????"

That statement tells me that you are totally and completely prejudicial for the innocence of the defendant, Zimmerman.
What you're doing, is trying to convince "yourself" that Zimmerman had some kind of "rights" to follow and question the presence of another person on the street. You'll never convince any sane person of that idea.

Ask a cop. They will tell you that when they initially detain a person, they charge them with what on the face value seems the worst possible offense. translated, this was def. not a murder, but might be a manslaughter charge, but we'll investigate further. Also note that its a preliminary report

You will note the listed witness' ? After detaining the subject, then speaking with all present witness and the subject himself they then make a determination if there's enough evidence to arrest and charge. THEY DID NOT. Translated for you, as it seems you are befuddled by the legal system, this means they interviewed witness', spoke to the guy they detained and then were able to have this mental conversation with themselves.

Those facebook photos (the ones of a boy in saggy pants and sticking up his fingers, the grill, etc) are of a different and unrelated Trayvon Martin, who is still alive and lives in a different city.
No further comment on the preliminary police report Allen, or maybe just a whiff of common sense has made it thru the liberal smokescreen ?
Here's a question I'd like to ask you guys. Lets say you were just murdered...and you're still young and sweet, not the crusty old self you may be now... Okay, young, nice boy enjoying your school suspension, and pow, some hispanic guy you were beatin' ups and shoots you, so you're now dead. Does mama (or Dad), in the midst of her(his) grief (and many press events and meetings with black community leaders), start thinking "Damn, my baby boy is a marketable commodity now ! I gotta protect that sh*t !!!"

Whats gonna happen if something truly horrid comes out in the investigation ? Drugs in his system, pictures of Trayvon actually attacking , etc...? I think the family has been tricked, manipulated and used by the 'Community Leaders' who have an agenda and could care less for, or about, the family. This is merely an opprotunity to further their goals and ambitions. Its sad too, because it really does look like the family was trying to raise the young man right.

The leftist media doesn’t seem to learn that rushing to the narrative they pray for, can implode their little scams and leave them looking like the fools they are. I also noted that Zimmerman was labeled a 'white' Hispanic, what a load of BS.

Fortunately anon, I don't use "political ideology" to form my opinions. Mostly I use common sense...you should try it sometime.
You see, common sense would have told you to read the entire report before you make a claim like; "they were able to find no reason to suspect this was anything but a self defense shooting. If they had doubts or questions they would have surely made notes of such in the report".
Well, the description of the "REPORT" (preliminary or not) unequivocally says;

Moreover, I bet you believe that the initial officer arriving at the scene of a shooting, shouldn't ask the admitted shooter any questions. I'd bet you'd think that there's some rule or law that prevents an officer from asking a person who just shot someone what happened. I can't wait to see how you answer...

Zimmerman is a registered Democrat? What a minute here. That can't be right. I am always being told by Democrats the all the racists are Republicans. Something doesn't compute here. So a racist Democrat killed a 17yr black kid. The media was so hoping for a white, conservative republican, tea party racist vigilante to have been the shooter, but it turns out Zimmerman is the opposite. He's a Hispanic Jewish, Democrat. So I guess if liberals want to keep calling Zimmerman a racist, we can then just remind them that he isn't just a racist, he's a Democratic racist.

I found that out yesterday. The real photos are of Martin with gold teeth and a tattoo. The real pics still don't look anything like his twelve year old red football shirt picture that has been presented as the template of how he looked when it wasn't.

I BLAME WHO EVER WAS THE WATCH CAPTIN BEFORE ZIMMERMAN BECAUSE HE SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN ON PATROL WITHOUT HAVING A BACKGROUND CHECK FROM THE BEGINNING. IT WAS OBVIOUSLY TRAYVON YELLING IN THE 911 TAPE. I love how there was an out cry from congress (none of which were there or had the facts) that Zimmerman was not arrested or taken to the station for questioning, a canvas of witnesses was not preformed, photos were not taken of Zimmerman's injuries nor a medical exam. So many holes of the investigation that were publicly claimed by congress and other public figures that had no idea what had been done and not been done. I bet they felt stupid after the video came out of Zimmerman in handcuffs at the jail and the release of multiple witness statements. And my favorite quote of the week was "Zimmerman needs to be arrested for his own safety" aren't members of congress supposed to be familiar with the law and that would be a civil rights violation. What is sad is that nobody will hold them accountable for their quick to judge riot inciting rhetoric. As a former Police Officer I could not agree more that Zimmerman has no business patrolling with a gun, that is why they train the Police. But this story has gotten way out of hand.
The Boy is dead because he punched Zimmerman and then smashed his head on the ground and then went for Zimmerman's weapon. Zimmerman was forced into a position none of us would ever like to be in. If you were in his situation you would have done the same thing. I dont blame you for feeling like you do because you DONT KNOW THE FACTS. THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS VERY GOOD AT SPINNING THE TRUTH.
