The Government Is The Only Thing "We All Belong to"?

If you give a person enough rope, he or she will eventually hang themselves. That is the old saying. When a criminal gets away with committing a crime, the criminal will tend to get overconfident and become careless the next time he or she commits the next crime. You may be wondering what am I getting at. Well here it is in a nutshell. The Democratic Party for years have beenwearing a disguise as being a party for the American people. They've been careful to act like they were apart of the mainstream of American society, even though their beliefs and votes on issues have proven otherwise. Since the election of Obama, they are now not even trying to hide their socialist ways anymore. Obama himself slipped last month with his now infamous comment trashing entrepreneurs and small business owners in claiming that "they didn't build that" and him saying "they think they are so smart", I knew the Democrat convention was going to be a freak show of far left Marxist pillow talk on display, and they haven't disappointed even on the first day. President Abraham Lincoln made a statement during his Gettysburg  Address that became famous, when he stated " that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth. Individuals make up the government , but we are a free people who don't belong to the government. Someone should inform the Democrat Party of that. In a video that played today at the Democrat Convention, a line was used in the video that is sure to get people talking tomorrow. Matter of fact, the video has already gone viral. In this video the narrative said "The Government Is The Only Thing We All Belong To".  

Now I'm sure the Communist Party USA would find that statement perfectly acceptable and wonder why it wasn't said sooner, but to others, that statement is certainty going to draw fire, and it's going to further cement the perception that many people already thought about the Democrat Party being a far left socialist party. Democrats have always had a love affair with centralized government, and this just proves that. They believe in collective thinking with the government calling the shots. The Democrat Party and the Communist Party USA might as well merge and get it over with, because there really isn't any difference anymore.

Um, I would rather live in a free society where the government does not need to act like Big Brother.

"Big Brother"...That's an interesting metaphor. How did George Orwell came up with that concept when he was authoring "1984"? Why not Father? I guess Tennessee Williams already took Big Daddy.

Yesterday, the Marxist Democrats were just praising the government like it was god. When Obama said that the private sector is doing fine, it's the public sector that needs the attention, he echoed the same remark that Harry Reid. These people can care less about the private sector. To the them job creation is government, a growing economy starts and ends with government. These people are socialist to the core, and they can deny it all they want, but they are what they are. I was thinking the same thing about Big Brother and 1984. It is so fitting. In order for the government to grow in power, it has to take the power from the individuals and make them that more dependent on government.

I'd rather have no Government period as part of a non-state voluntary society. Government is nothing more then force through violence ran from a central authority dictating to the masses what they think is better for us then us governing ourselves. Natural Law, the Non-Aggression Principle and Morality is all that is needed. What makes anyone think a Politician knows better then us. They try and supposedly protect us from ourselves. Can we protect ourselves from them who wish to take away our freedoms one more law at a time?
