A former Obama supporter lets loose.
Progressives have this crazy notion that the only opposition against Dear Leader is coming from Republicans, Tea Party people and conservatives. That is of course further from the truth. What isn't being reported is that people within the Democratic Party and progressives in general are not really that pleased with Barack Obama. Some have actually figured out that Barack Obama is nothing more then a crony corporate puppet. Obama's support among young people has nose dived in recent months, part of that is due to Obama's support of the NSA overreaching spying on Americans along with Obama wanting Edward Snowden brought back to America and arrested. More and more young people are realzing that they were played for chumps as to Obamacare or as Sarah Palin called them at CPAC "Obamacare Suckas". They have learned that they aren't gong to be the beneficiaries of Obamacare. Oh no, they are expected to be the primaries funding source for it. One of the young people who bought into alll the platitudes, words and speeches of Dear Leader was Carey Wedler. Carey is NOT a conservative by any means. She is a die hard liberal. She bought into everything Obama said hook, line and sinker, but now she's come to realize that she has been played. Even though Carey is a ultra liberal, I respect her much more then I have any respect for a typical progressive. Carey Wedler at least realized that Obama wasn't the liberal he campaigned as being and decided to turn her back on him. Others who claim to be liberals are still following Obama and defending him at every turn, even though he has screwed them over at every turn.If me and Carey would ever meet, we would disagree no doubt on almost ever possible issues, but I do give her props for standing on her principals and not being a two bit flunky supporter like others who are Obama supporters.

I saw this video a few weeks ago. And honestly... she's telling the TRUTH! Everything she said is exactly what President Obama has done. But really... what did she expect? And with all due respect to Ms. Wedler, "Googling" what the president has done doesn't make you an expert on government policy. Basically she's about as much a "mental giant" as Sarah Palin. Wait... I take that back. Ms. Welder seems a just a bit more intelligent than Palin...
The U.S. government is an institution guided by 237 years of policy which supports it's own interests. Such it is for every other government on the face of the earth, more particular, "Super Power" governments. Every president/politician LIES about what their government does, do, has done and will do. Barack Obama is no exception.
But there's another pertinent aspect to Ms. Welders epiphany. I believe that her sudden realization won't get much traction from right-wingers. If you listen closely to her complaints, you'll find that many are what right-wingers really don't mind.

Reagan was STRONG... he did nothing!"

To think that some folks believe Palin is still dumb or how ever you want to put it. Still an ignorant drone that listens to mass-media non-sense, jokes taken literally and rumors. Glad I left that boat a long time ago and woke up to reality. Palin still may be a Statist in many ways but I think she is slowly turning more Libertarian in recent days. People are starting to wake up and realize Government is just not working anymore. Has it ever? Time we govern ourselves and protect one another. A monopoly of fraud, force and violence will not.
This is as tiresome as Bush still being bagged on and I do not approve of either Bush or Obama. Both are big Government Statists and are more alike then not.
Someone shared this video with me, a few days ago. Like Amber Lee Ettinger (AKA "Obama Girl"), Carey Welder has had an epiphany that Obama is not what she expected him to become: hope and change. Actually, there was plenty of change, but not the hope to come with it. I am actually not disappointed that Carey is not Conservative, I am just glad that she realizes that Obama is a disappointment. On an final note: funny that P. Anthony Allen had to take pot shots at Palin, in regards to this article. One sentence from Tyronne in referencing Sarah and at least 50% of P's comment deals with Palin. Sarah Palin: living rent-free in P's mind since 2008.

Yeah kinda... I take pot shots at Palin all the time on this blog. Tyrone is a HUUUUUUUUUGE Palin supporter. Whenever he mentions her, it's basically my cue to "rib" him over his infatuation and enamor. Don't take it personal John. In my opinion, Sarah Palin is a joke. I just having fun with Tyrone at her expense.
She is better then a conservative actually. Not a NeoCon for certain. I used to me one myself. If you mean conservative as in fiscally, then that I can agree with. Austrian economic principles. But being fiscally conservative and socially liberal brings in the best of both worlds for Libertarians. Do no harm and mind your own business as long as you are not harming anyone else in any way. Non aggression. No more wars.

Lets try this again....
Tyrone thinks Sarah Palin is God's gift (ie; metaphorically) to conservative mankind. Whereas, I think she's not (literally). Therefore, when the opportunity presents itself, I make fun of her. Mind you, I don't think that she's not a decent human being. However, I do think that she's no more than a political opportunist, and one who's not very bright or good at being a politician. Now you might think or believe the same about President Obama. But hey, you have your opinions and I have mine.
As far as being "normal", if political and personal verbal attacks on politicians are not "normal", then every politician, political pundit, political blog writer (Tyrone included), and most of the American voting public are not "normal."
The dislike that some of you commenters (in addition to the MSM-statist media)feel for Sarah Palin is rooted somewhere...huh? And I see that the MSM-statist media hates her because they TRULY fear her...fear her because she can relate and bond with the common American- hard working, tax paying, family raising, business owning, freedom loving American...and I think in some cases these who hate Palin also hate those who really support an bond with her, those mentioned above. This dislike they posses is something only they can effectively analyze, but only if they can be honest (which I don't believe they can be).
But enough about that- Ms. Welders is a typical young person who gloms onto someone she "feels" good about in such a big way, and doesn't bother to do her homework. Of course after all the sycophant glomming, and she discovers the truth, she is pissed off- understandable. But to follow that up with the rant about "government is BAD, government is inefficient" is STUPID, because YES, a crooked government IS bad, and especially when it is being led by a fascist regime, and bolstered by a political party, the liberal democrat party (and the MSM-statist media). This government has been going downhill because of the men in the Whitehouse since Kennedy- with Reagan being the only exception. And if you are not going to follow the US Constitution, but make it up as you go (Obama) then yes, it is going to rot and stink. You look at Obama and feel voter's remorse, and that should have you end up saying "all government is bad, all government is evil"? Ridiculous. You are only allowed to say that about this regime. The next one, if it follows the rules, abides the Constitution, should be able to have a much better chance of creating the government that America needs. And realize this- there is NO SUCH THING as the perfect governing system, and never will be, because government governs HUMANS (also not perfect) but the US system as written by the founders, and followed as they intended, IS the best there has ever been. Now some may say, "wow, how can he say that, how can he arrive at that?" If that is you, well, I feel sorry for you.
