Nothing spells Christmas cheer like watching members of the Occupy family turn on one another.

On Christmas Day in Nashville. It appears that two Occupy Nashville protesters weren't exactly getting along in harmony in the country music city. I thought the hatred was suppose to be aimed at those 1 percenters? I guess I am behind the times.

Feel the love!!

How ironic: there is an old saying "Peace On Earth". Yet, we see violence every time the holiday comes around.

Christmas was not a legal holiday until 1878 by Pres. Grant. Revelry was trhe original reason why Europeans didnt celebrate the holiday before then. The early Christians never celebrated Jesus birth anyway, but it was originaly the pagan Roman holiday for the Sun god, Saternalia, a day or week many years before Jesus was born, not on December 25th, but 6 months after John the Baptist who was born in April. There will be no peace on earth until the evil men are gone

The Magi gave Jesus gifts when they had visited him in Bethlehem so if that is not cause to celebrate his birth, what is? Besides, there is nothing wrong with over righting a pagan holiday with a christian celebration. It was done with Halloween as well. This is a nation founded upon Judeo-Christian principles. Easter is for recognizing and celebrating his death and resurrection as well.
