It's a MIRACLE!!!! The Pittsburgh Steelers got Tebowed in Denver.

For those of you who didn't watch the Denver Broncos-Pittsburgh Steelers game yesterday, you missed a great game. Those who didn't watch the game probably assumed like most that Tim Tebow and the Broncos were simply going to be destroyed by the Steelers. Tim's critics "who mostly don't like him because of his open faith in Jesus Christ" were silently hoping for him to fail. They were trying to create a notion that Coach Fox of the Denver Broncos might put in the backup quarterback Brady Quinn if Tebow struggled in the first half. Coach Fox never eluded to that. It was simply made up by the media in an attempt to create a narrative that Fox might buy into doing. If Tebow would have failed in that game, the media would have gone into overdrive in claiming that Tim was not a quality starting quarterback in the NFL. Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos beat the number one ranked defense Pittsburgh Steelers in overtime yesterday. I have to admit, I was cheering on Tebow for other reasons other then him being a Christan who isn't ashamed to express his faith. Since the Pittsburgh Steelers are the hated rivals of the Baltimore Ravens and vice versa, me and other Raven fans took great delight in Tebow passing for over 316 yards on them and scoring one of the biggest upsets in NFL Playoff history. This is how he closed the mouths of his critics at least for a week.

I had to work during this game and saw the highlights on nfl.com
Yeah Ty, you can thank the Browns D for banging up Ben's ankle. Man I can't stand the Steelers!
But what was more interesting was Tebows passing yards for that game of 316. The chapter and verse he wore under his eye war paint.

I watched a first half of the game and the way that Rothlethberger was performing, I figured it was the end of the Steelers.
I found out that the Steelers came back and nearly won the game in overtime.

By the way Tyrone, would you be doing a story about Obama downsizing our military? We're in dangerous times under this guy!

"..... Tebow passing for over 313 yards ..."

Someone pointed it out to me and then I went and looked it up, 316 yards, http://i.usatoday.net/communitymanager/_photos/game-on/2011/12/23/aatebx-inset-community.jpg Just like in that picture, John 3:16 , yeah, I guess it's a coincidence, a real funny or strange coincidence. So before that last play to Maryius Thomas, Tim Tebow was at 236 yards.

People have been saying that Tim Tebow is hype, a fad etc. By him beating the Steelers, he proved himself as being legit. He passed for 316 yards against the number one defense in the NFL. Oh no, he's going to be around for awhile, and he's only going to get better. Dare I say it might be written in stone.

Yeah Robb, it was 316 yards. That is freaking weird. John 3:16 is his favorite verse, and passed for not only 316 yards but also passed on average 31.6 yards. Seriously, what are the odds in that happening?

I'm going to get around to it. I have several stories I'm going to be doing on Obama's failed foreign policy along with the instability in Iraq since the troops pulled out.

I would be lying TSVDP if I said I could explain it. I'm not going to go as far as to call Tebow "god's quarterback", but he has been doing things that can't be explained. I don't think I would be far off base as to say that Tim Tebow is actually more popular then Barack Obama.
The Broncos-Steelers game was the most watched wild card game in 24 years!!
Tebow has his finger on the pulse of this country and he doesn't even know it.

I meant 31.6 yards per completion.

We here in Indy are just hoping that he ends up here in 20 some days. NO ONE wants Brady up in this neck of the woods.

And yes, we're still crying in our beer with Peyton not being able to lead us into another Super Bowl victory.

This town is NUTS right now. Should be a great Super Bowl, we've been prepping for months and months and this will be the first Super Bowl where EVERYONE will be able to stay in the same town (no suburb commute needed).

Look for the marvelous Lucas Oil Stadium gleaming that night. That is one cool stadium.

Go Tebow!

31.6 is NFL record for playoff in terms of yards per completion (as well as 15 yards per attempt). 80 yard pass is longest yard for completion for td in overtime in NFL history. Faster OT in NFL history. Most passing yards by qb in his playoff debut passing Elway's previous mark. Tebow broke a lot of passing records that game.

First [[Stone Cold Steve]] Austin 3:16, now Tebow 3:16.

I'm not a religious man, but what is so popular about 3:16? It would seem for the past decade it has become a popular trademark.

John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

It's one of the more popular verses from the Bible.

Not surprising to see that Ty’s regular commenters in fact DO live under rocks.‘John:316’ has NOT “become a popular trademark” over “the past decade.”

Rainbow Man made the verse a sporting-event phenomenon and himself a major celebrity in the 70s and 80s.

But like most born-agains & other religious freaks, he was a complete nut. He attempted to stink-bomb the American Music Awards one year to show the public “God thinks this stinks.”

He is currently serving three consecutive life sentences in prison on kidnapping charges.
