A New Years resolution for those of you who regretted voting for BS in 08.
Even though New Years isn't officially here until Midnight, this might be one resolution the folks who voted for Barack Obama might want to take up. For those of you who fell for the open ended bumper sticker slogans of "Yes We Can" and "Hope and Change", don't feel bad. A lot of people have been duped by Madison Avenue into buying into BS over the years. The important thing is that you have learned from your mistake. If you have an unsightly Obama/Biden bumper sticker on your ride, I might have come across a nice tool to help you rid yourself of the evidence of your BS past mistake.

I'll be the first to admit, I did vote for Obama and I am disappointed how he is running this country.
The economy has not improved and his foreign policies are scary the hell out of me.
Since Iran has one of our top-secret drones, he refuses to do have it destroyed or try and capture it.
When he said "Change We Can Believe In", he made a lot of changes, just not positive ones.
When he said "YES WE CAN!", I will say "YES I WILL!" vote against him in next election.

Hmmmmmm? President Obama campaigned on "taxing the rich." Is that one of the reasons you voted for him? He also campaigned on providing "universal health care." Was that the reason you voted for him? He also said he would end "don't ask, don't tell." Was that your reason? He said the he would pull the troops out Iraq? Was that your reason? Aside from getting the taxes on the rich, he's done all of the above.
Perhaps it's the fact that he said he would close the Guantanamo prison, yet he hasn't done so. Is that why you're distraught? As far as other foreign policy, you'll need to be more specific. What nation has violated U.S. sovereignty, forced aggression, attacked U.S. interests, or in simpler terms, attempted to "punk" the U.S. on President Obama's watch?
As for the U.S. "Spy Drone", what exactly do you think it was doing when the Iranians brought it down? Do think it was delivering Christmas presents to all the good Iranian children? Nooooo.. it was "SPYING!" The same thing the U-2 spy plane was doing over the U.S.S.R. when it was shot down in 1960. Spying... the same thing the U.S. EP-3 plane was doing when it was brought down by the Chinese in 2001. In both incidents the U.S. acknowledged it's role. Moreover, the Bush administration gave a formal, "we're sorry" apology, and paid the Chinese for the disassembled plane.
Unless it was your intent to start a war, blowing up your "SPYING" device on another country's soil (after being caught in the act of spying) is not the smart thing to do.

I've heard, and I know of many who are disgruntled with the presidents performance on the economy. I have a good friend who is an Independent voter. He voted for President Obama in the last election but says he did so with reservation. He now says he won't vote for him again because his reserve proved to be true. In his opinion, as he says, because President Obama is black the other powers that be would do all they could to make his administration a failure. "In his opinion" that's exactly what's happening.
Frankly, I am one who is totally dissatisfied with his performance. However, my dissatisfaction is based on the presidents lack of forcefulness, and his constant caving in to the Republicans.
Yet I find it hard to believe that even an Independent Obama voter would claim disappointment with his foreign policy. The only complaints from Independents that I've heard about foreign policy is that, "there's to much involvement in foreign countries."
And then there are those who hate the president so much, they lie and claim they voted for him in 08', simply to make it seem as though they're disappointed Democrats. With knowing all the things that President Obama "PUBLICLY" campaigned on, it's completely unbelievable that as a Democrat would vote for him and not know what they were getting.
Lastly, if you were so concerned about "foreign policy", your man ran against President Obama in 08'! John McCain stated he wanted to continue the war in Iraq. McCain was completely "hawkish" with concern to the Iranians. You knew who had the most foreign policy experience, yet you claim you voted for President Obama? For some reason I'm not buying it Anon.
The media refused to vet this man or question anything about him or his history. He ran as a centrist, and governs as a far left radical socialist. He will again if we're stupid enough to fall for his lies.

You know what I find really crazy about your argument? It's filled with "misinformation." The Democrats didn't have a majority in congress until January 3, 2007.
Your "misinformation" does not allow you to know that the Republicans had held the majority in the house since January 3, 1995.
Even though you'll never know how bad it might have been had there not been spending, your "misinformation" demands that you make claim that the meltdown has gotten worse. Yet, when the spending comes from the "right-wing" side of the isle, suddenly it's useful and pure. Can you tell me how much the Bush administration spent after the 911 attacks?
The housing bubble grew between 2004-2007. By 2007 the bubble was cracking, and by 08' it had burst. The fact is President Obama was elected because of the perceived screw-ups of the Republican administration.
There were no "free spending" Democrats in control prior to the start of the economic melt down. The "free spending" Democrats didn't come in until after the meltdown. It's obvious to me that the stimulus spending and the auto bailouts help slow the meltdown. Thus, you can believe and say whatever you want.
Face the facts, you didn't vote for President Obama because of one of the following reasons;
A: You're a stead fast conservative and would never vote Democrat.
B: You're an Independent voter who just didn't like his policies.
C: Because he's Black.
All this craziness about the President of the United States being a "socialist, muslim, communist, America hater, etc..." is just plain stupid.

John Friggin' Lennon wrote that song Imagine but he also wrote a song back on Sometime in New York, a record of his from about 1972 which says "Woman is the X-word of the world", I mean from the values I was raised with, I can't even go that far, yeah, Richard Prior has a funny album named, "that X-word is crazy" but I digress, this C Lo fella should sing that Lennon song "woman is the ...." for the flack he's getting on Imagine and listen up, that white musician Neil Young also sang imagine and he changed the lyrics, sure, time square is not the same as tribute to heros but all the same, I never heard a word about it. 90% of the people criticizing Cee Lo are probably white liberals.

Look in the mirror allen. You are the last person allen to talk about someone giving misinformation. You are a fountain of it. 02Brake80, had the date wrong but she was still right in her argument. Democrats had full control of congress from January of 2007 to January of 2010. That was 3 full years of Democratic control in the house and the senate. When was the last time Pelosi and Reid even presented a budget?
