Earth Hour: Save the polar bears and the trees, unborn babies are optional

Yesterday at 8pm Eastern Standard Time, it was time for people in my time zone to turn off their lights. Google had their web page in black all day to draw attention to Earth Hour. I've never had a sharp memory when it came to memorizing non important liberal feel good occasions. Since there already is an Earth Day, what exactly was the reason for an Earth Hour? Well anyways I did my part for the one hour yesterday evening. I turned on all my lights and all my televisions. I don't know how many icebergs melted due to my actions, but I took my chances. I might have to send a few crates of coca cola to the North Pole for the polar bears that were impacted by my excessive energy use. I don't want people to misunderstand where I'm coming from on the issue of global warming. I believe global warming primarily is due to the increasing temperatures of the sun, nothing else and nothing more. I couldn't help to notice that liberals are so passionated about their beliefs that man is destroying the environment or the earth or whatever they believe. First we had Arbor Day, then Earth Day, and now Earth Hour. To bad liberals don't have the same passion for saving unborn babies then they do saving polar bears in the North and South Poles. Imagine that, I guess 45 million unborn babies aren't high on their priority list. These are the same people for some reason etch off on their walls the total of U.S Soldiers that have died in Iraq. Here's a question. Do they etch off the numbers of unborn babies that are killed in the United States each year? The answer sad to say is no. You see liberals refer to unborn babies as "tumors". They believe so passionately in abortion yet they can't even call it by it's name. They refer to it as "Pro Choice", "Reproductive Health care" "Right to Privacy"etc. So call me square or out of touch, but I will never place a tree or a polar bear over that of an unborn child. Lights on.

I just found out about Earth Hour this morning. I was reading another web site where they talked about this. I smiled thinking, 'Here we go again putting matter over human beings'. Anything to dismiss God and His power. Man is the center of everything. How amazing. These folk at some point will get to the end of themselves. Yes I believe this is rooted in religion.

Sometimes I think the United States was struck by a wacko bomb years ago, and it infected certain people. A Weapon Of Massive Delussion. Al Gore is going to spend "waste" $300 million dollars to draw attention to "global warming". Why didn't Al Gore and people who think like him draw attention to Saddam Hussein killing people in mass numbers via a wood chipper? Liberal ideology has to come from indoctrination, because I refuse to believe any rational thinking person can think the things an average liberal thinks chilerkle.

Okay, you're absolutely right! Liberals said nothing in March of 1988 when Saddam gas thousands of Kurds.
Someone allowed that "liberal" State Department to remove sanctions which allowed Saddam to obtain weapons grade chemicals from Alcolac International and Phillips Petro. The "liberal" administration at the time, stood by and said nothing!! Yep, that liberal administration from 1980 to 1988 did all of this.
Now look whats happening, another "liberal" administration in 2000! Liberals stand by and say "nothing" while those zany Iraqi insurgents kill American soldiers. I only knew about Earth Hour because I frequent a chat room that is almost exclusively comprised of far-lefties. I don't buy into the man-made global warming hoax, but I am one of those frugal people that uses what I need and no more as I don't wish to pay hard-earned cash for over-indulgance. Yes, I want to have a clean planet, but I am not willing to give up eating meat because of cow flatulance, driving my car because we won't drill for oil in ANWAR and definitely will not be spending my nights in total darkness. This all nothing but propaganda to ready us for increased taxes for liberal programs to save the earth from us human beings.

Well this may surprise you Allen, but I don't agree with Rush on this one. Contrary to your belief, just because Rush is one of my favorite talk show hosts doesn't mean that everything he says is a rubber stamp for what I believe. I do believe that liberals don't do anything unless their is an alternative motive. So in a sense, he may be on to something. Why would liberals be animate about Dulfar, but not Cuba, China, or North Korea? Then again Cuba, China and North Korea don't have a majority population of black Africans living in those countries do they? So by trying to make a point on one issue, you just proved the point of a radio guru allen. Way to go. Also correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it you liberals who referred to Bush as a "Reckless Cowboy" and called his policy "cowboy diplomacy" when it came to Iraq?

Wow Allen, you are the first liberal that I've heard since the operations in Iraq started that actually blammed the insurgents and terrorists in Iraq for killing our soliders. Once in awhile even you surprise me. The typical liberal response would be to say that "Bush is killing the troops". Glad you can think outside the liberal box Allen. As for the beheadings, liberals claimed it was the CIA that was responsible for them, go figure. Then again these are the same people who believed that Bush planned 911 and that the airliners had missles attached to them.

Actaully Allen it explained the motive behind liberals give lip service over Africa. The United States has spend billions of dollars in aid to Africa with nothing to show for it. The liberal way of doing things is to give countless amounts of money and don't care about actually results. The only thing that has been accomplished is that the dictators and warlords of the countries in need have hijacked the aid meant for the people and kept it for themselves. The only people that are being feed are the armed thugs that are killing he people in Darfur. Maybe you can post an article in which a liberal politican actually talked about or supported killing the dictators in the first place to allow the aid to actually reach the people.

No majority of "Black Africans" In China? North Korea? Cuba? I hope you didn't just recently find that out...lol
First off, Cuba (although now drastically reduced) was militarily back by Russia. Russia, North Korea and China have NUKES! Not many Negroes, but a just enough NUKES! (as we all should know, it only takes "one" nuclear blast to ruin your day!)

The reason is because they want to dehumanize victims of murder(unborn babies) as much as possible. Take away their humanity, and abortion becomes just another choice.
I heard that argument before in American history on another issue.
As we have consumed earth's resources, we have done something else: we have gone from a subsistence economy, where life was nasty, brutish and short, to one of a technologically developed civilization, where people don't die in their forties, where the vast majority of (non-aborted) children actually susvive to adulthood, where food is plentiful, medical care available, and the internet on which so many of our friends on teh left grouse is there.
Well, we still have societies on earth which don't consume so much in the way of resources. They aren't plagued with obesity -- because they don't have enough food! They don't have actuarial problems looming with old age pensions -- because so many people never live that long.
To our friends on the left who expend so much bandwidth warning us about the terrors of global warming and overconsumption, please, do your parts, and shut off your computers and quit using so much electricity; we'll take you a lot more seriously when we see you practicing what you preach.
