Black liberals still cry "racial inequality" even afer Obama's win.

A story from the Associated Press caught my eye. The writer was Stephen Ohlemacher and the title read "Obama win doesn't erase inequality". Even after one of the most unqualified people ever to run for the Presidency of the United States was elected primarily on the basis of his race, they're are still blacks that still see themselves being behind the "inequality eight ball". Some want to claim that Obama's win was historic based on race. I guess it was in one aspect but sad to say not in another. It would have been nice if Obama's win would have marked the historic end to most blacks referring to themselves as victims in this country based on the color of their skin. I knew before the election that nothing would change in the minds of most blacks even if Obama won. So even though whites and Hispanics played a pivital role in the election of Obama, it looks like the "blame whitey express" isn't going to run out of steam anytime soon regardless of Obama's win. This paragraph statement from the AP story validates that.

"a black female college student by the name of Kari Fulton heard a white colleague proclaim that racism in America is dead after the election of Barack Obama. She cringed, worrying that it might be a sign of flagging interest in the fight against discrimination."

The next paragraph made me laugh " In reality, racism is still very much alive and well," said Fulton, who graduated last year from Howard University, a historically black college in the nation's capital."

Funny that Kari Fulton would talk about racism, yet she attended and graduated from a University that prides itself historically on race. I wonder did she attend Howard because of it being a "historically black university"? There is nothing more hilarious then black racial hypocrites crying about racism. I bet that if I asked Ms. Fulton why she didn't attend a university or college that had a "diverse student population. I bet if I asked her why she attended Howard, she would say "As a black female, I wanted to attend a black University. With that being said, Ms. Fulton went on to say that the inequalities facing blacks were the following

The problems are significant.

* About a quarter of black Americans live in poverty -- nearly three times the rate for whites -- at a time when rising budget deficits and expensive corporate bailouts are going to leave little federal money for anti-poverty programs. The federal budget deficit is likely to hit a record $1 trillion next year.

* Black adults are less likely than whites to have college degrees and more likely to be in prison.

* Blacks are less likely than whites to have health insurance and, on average, they don't live as long as whites.

* Homicide is the leading cause of death among black males ages 15 to 34 -- and it has been for years.

* A typical black household makes only 62 percent of the income of a typical white household.


This is why I have such a low tolerance of ignorant people. Sure they are amusing, but these people should not be taken seriously. Ms Fulton doesn't realize that all the problems she stated that are impacting a certain percentage of blacks don't have anything to do with other races causing those problems. Ms. Fulton like many black liberals believe that the only cure to any problem is through the government. They're are blacks that are always complaining about how more money needs to be spent on "anti poverty" problems. What exactly is an "anti poverty" program anyways? Ms. Fulton fits into the category of what is known as a "college educated idiot". People in the real world realize that the government can't lift a person out of poverty. The only function it can do is maintain a person in it. Also no other racial group is responsible for an individual of another race being born into, raised up in, and lifted out of poverty. Only the individual is responsible for his or her own economic situation. Ms. Fulton shares the views of many blacks in that she believes that it is "racially unfair", because whites as a group have more then blacks. Once again, she doesn't understand like other blacks that a group is at it's core nothing more then a group of individuals that makes individual decisions. When she talked about blacks are less likely to have health insurance then whites, once again the question is "who's fault is that"? Also that same question applies to the homicide rate, economic and illiteracy gaps between whites and blacks. Black liberals tend to want to blame whites and the government for not solving their perceived external problems. That is why nothing has changed in the black community for over forty years, because they're are blacks that don't want to address those problems as an internal individual problem that impacts the whole as a race. When blacks like Ms. Fulton don't put the blame where it truly belongs, the root causes to the problems will never be addressed and thus never fixed. No other racial group or individuals made blacks drop out of school or sell drugs to other blacks in the black community. Ms. Fulton could never comprehend this, because she along with other blacks would actually have to address the problem of "lack of personal responsibility". For her like other blacks, it's easier to make other races a scapegoat for the problem instead. The whole racial inequality farce is not different then when liberals cry about "economic inequality". It's the same flawed formula just the variables have changed. Social liberals have done their best to manipulate the middle class and the poor into hating the rich. They have used terms like "the rich get richer and the poor get poorer". Once again it comes down to "who's fault is it"? Do the wealthy in America cause people to become poor or stay poor? The answer of course is no. Most of the millionaires and billionaires started out growing up in lower and middle class households. They weren't born with "silver spoons" in their mouths. That still doesn't stop those that don't have from crying about "economic inequality", because they feel that it is unfair that others are better well off then they are. So with everything being said, it looks like the word "racism" is being morphed into the new term "racial inequality". Maybe racism as we know it in the tradition sense is on the steep decline, maybe that's why black liberals have to change the word and meaning, because they can't let go and address the real problem, which is themselves.

I agree with you conservative brother. Our biggest problem in the black community is victimhood.
I think the black community have been conned by this charismatic Obama. With Russia in our backyard and more terror attacks this not the time to look to be friends with everyone.

When Obama was elected I knew it would just be a matter of time where someone would say that nothing has changed racially for blacks even though on election day this was claimed. I'm sure no one is really surprised at this. Of course nothing will change because each person must make right choices about their lives and quit always expecting others to be responsible for them.

Amen to that!

The Declaration of Independence states "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are life, Liberty & the pursuit of Happiness."

What that means to me is this: We are all equal & capable of taking individual responsibility for the situations we create for ourselves. Be it a group or as individuals we hold the key to our own fate.

Sure racism exists & so too does reverse racism. Each ethnic group in America faces problems created by choices they have made as a group & as individuals. No one group in America is without cause for serious alarm today.

Whites are declining in population in America & the world should this be blamed on blacks or any other ethnic group? The answer is NO! Blacks who have multiple children, but not the resources to support the families they create, should they blame whites or anyone else for the resulting poverty? The answer is again NO!

These are certainly viewed as controversial topics, yet easily addressed if only our leaders would face these issues without pulling the "victim card."

Education & I don't mean formal schooling is key for the black American community. Having both parents involved & who spend time with & read to children goes a long ways in a child's life. Our education system has failed all of us, but the family unit does not have to follow.

Whites have to teach themselves too, not to lay down in fear of being called racist. Just causes are always worth the fight. Like a foreign country who wants to take over its neighbor, but won't because of the potential repercussions, its the same for racial groups if one group retreats soon it has no place to retreat. This is not advocating racism this is saying if you are treated unfairly we have laws. Laws that will go both ways (if demanded). Refer to the Declaration of Independence again.

The bottom line black, white & everything in between we all have problems. Don't think for one moment that America's enemies won't or have not been exploiting the differences we create & impose on ourselves.

All shades of Americans better wake up fast because in the scheme of globalization we are all a minority & we will be left without a constitution if the global government is run by the majority world population. That majority is not American & won't care your skin color when they come for you.

This is not an attack on globalization, but a warning as to what type of common bonds we wish ourselves as Americans to maintain or not as we grow. The world is knocking down borders, are we as Americans going to push a common culture or lay down & wait till some world group knocks on our door & shoves a culture down our throats or worse?

Just because Obama is going to the Whitehouse doesn't mean racism is over.
Many of those who did not support Obama have decided to leave the country for Canada. Bad news for them: if these people are racists, Canada will not tolerate bigotry in any sorts, especially if they express it publicly.
Anyhoo, once Obama is in the Whitehouse, there are some people out there who are going to find something that is not politically correct and make a fuss over it.

I believe it's more like "self perpetrated" victimhood. This is was 40 years of pure liberalism injected into the black community results in. The oversensitivity of race has a lot to do with black self victimization. When I listen to Obama, I don't her anyting charismatic, inspiring, or intelligent. It could be because us conservatives look more for substance and ideas then rhetoric and hype. Liberals love mass marketed hype. Most of the people that are movie star and television star fanatics are liberals. The women that actually think that Oprah is actually talented are liberal women. Most people that watch American Idol religiously are liberals. Bill Clinton was the equivalent of moral scum, but liberals adored the ground he walked on. I heard that Obama is going to give a speech in an Islamic country. I guess the believes he is going to get the same reception as he did among the euro socialists in Germany at the beer festival. The poor naive fool doesn't realize that his empty words only works among people that are receptive to them. It's not going to work among Islamic extremists.

The same liberal blacks that were saying that if whites don't vote for Obama, they are racist still think they are racists even though they voted for Obama!!lol lol lol So even though a white liberal voted for Obama, a black liberal still is going to call them a racist just because the white liberal is better of economically. lol

Exactly jarnc05!! At the end of the day, it all comes down to personal responsibility for our choices. Reverse racism is just as bad the racism in the traditional sense. Affirmative Action is pure reverse racism. Certain groups don't see it that way, because in their minds it benefits them.

People like Bill Cosby were attacked venomously by black and white liberals for addressing the issues of "misguided black blame"and taking responsibility for one's actions.Whites, Asians, Jews and other racial and ethnic groups live in poverty to, but they don't blame others for their circumstances. If they are born into poverty, they just work hard to get out of it.

Of course racism will never be over. It's crazy bordering living in fantasy land to for anyone to ever think racism will be over. I've seen plenty of black racists on display in this election. There are racists in ALL RACES of people. If people think that only whites are racists, they are severely in denial. Obama could have been elected to a position of World President, and that wouldn't change certain people's perceptions on race. People should make a fuss over what Obama does wrong in Whitehouse, why treat him any different then Bush 43, Clinton or any other president was treated? I guarantee that anybody that attacks Obama based on policy will be labeled a racist by the kooky left. Personally, I'm sick and tired of all the egg shell walking political correct mind control over Barack Hussein Obama. I encourage people to attack Obama whenever he does wrong. That is the true essence of "equality". Treat every president equally regardless of race. As for Canada, I thought liberals said they were going to move to Canada when Bush won in 2000 and 2004? I guess they didn't like the global warming of Canada I suppose. Personally I would love it if racists such as the New Black Panthers, La Raza and the Klu Klux Klan would all move to another country. Anon, let me ask you a question. Do you believe that no black racists voted for Obama?

Dr. Dozier gave a very informative serman this year in Florida, "Are you a Victim or a Victor. I am a victor! I refuse to allow our race hustler to keep making money off hatred of the elusive white man. What man are they talking about? Is it the white man who died freeing them in 1865?
Is irt the white men and women who made Oprah rich?
Is it the white man who pays most of the welfare bill, since Blacks are so unemployed?
Is it the white man who employs the immigrants from SA and Africa and Arabia and Europe, because Blacks forgot to attend college under grants?
Is it the white men who voted for Obama? Without the white vote Obama would not have won!

Is it the white men who said in 2008 that they would make all Blacks slaves again? Guess who!

Black liberals are are joke. It is what it is. Most blacks claim they are Christians, yet they cry about being victims. In the churches they claim "as long as they have god in their lives, nothing can harm them", funny how they abandon that philosophy as soon as they exit the church. If they would only put more faith in the god they claim to worship then their skin color, the victim hood mindeset wouldn't even be able to be established. That is how I am. Race doesn't control my life or my thoughts, that's one of the reasons why I can objectively talk about race, because I'm not consumed by it.

It was more so white women that made Oprah rich. I can't imagine any guy liking Oprah. Oprah was a non talented news reporter here in Baltimore working for WJZ 13. She was discovered and went to Chicago, and the rest is history sorry to say.

Most blacks don't understand the the African slave trade was origninated by African chefs and Muslim slave traffickers. The Public school systems will never teach the truth, just revisionist history designed to keep them angry about America and supporting Muslims.

Good point. What else is not being taught in the schools about the era of slavery is that blacks owned slaves also. Then again, why educate the masses anyways. Just keep them thinking smoothly.

Nothing worse than a black conservative, it must be lonely.

When someone asks you for help you pass out a check and say phone me; I got mine let them get theirs. Won't catch you in the ghetto showing our youth what different forms of success looks like. The concept of giving back means rubbing shoulders your masters, money.

White youth and black commit the same crime but ours wind up doing more time. Folks like you say, they had it coming.

New York black people get shot with multiple glocks in front of witnesses while walking home. In Texas is a new style of lynching, they call it a drive under. It happens to black men when with white folks alone.

You all say that Obama is elected so we are post-racial. Obama only received 47% of the white vote, so 57% and Toms were afraid of taxes being raised, guns being taken away or licensed, or a different religion being practiced in the white house? Wasnt it just a bit racial?

Redlining still in effect it appears as a national suit charges blacks being steered to subprime loans.
For some, for that reason alone, are losing their homes.

I doubt you'll post these views of dissention, much like the show at the republican convention. I aint mad at you, I am just sad for you.
