No super majority Senate for Obama
At lest there are some states that haven't took leave of their senses and sucked in by Barack Obama. On election day, Georgia went solidly for McCain and Palin. Speaking of Palin, she gave a great stump speech for Saxby Chambliss yesterday in Georgia.
Now the great RED state of Georgia has come through to deny Democrats and Obama a super majority Senate. Republican Senator Saxby Chambliss destroyed his Democrat rival Jim Martin in a run off election today capturing 60 percent of the vote to Martin's 40%, Even with this important win, it will still be great if Norm Coleman can hold on and beat the liberal nut job fruit cake Al Franken. At least now Obama's can't steamroll anything through the Senate, and he is somewhat held in check. Thanks again to to the great conservatives of Georgia.

So she can't go to Georgia or the the governors conference??? That's bull! If Saxby would have lost, the MSM would have been all over Gov. Palin!!! What say you?
Thank God my state came through. I knew thar Saxby would win. I heard all the fellas in the barbershop saying they had no intention to vote. I had nixed feelings on that. I was happy that they stayed home on it. However too many of our parents and grandparents died for the right to vote and they take it for granted.
Let's not get too comfortable. There's still a lot of RINOs that can be turned to the dark side of the force. Keep your fingers crossed for Coleman.

I guess we are suppose to believe that the main stream media really care about Alaska lol Funny that they weren't concerned about Illinois when Obama was so busy campaigning for President he didn't even have time to do his job. Hell he was only a full time Senator for 4 1/2 months. I guess they must have mistakenly overlooked that.
I'm sure the media had no problem with Palin being away from Alaska to meet with Obama and the other governors of course.

Even with most people still suffering from election "burnout", She was still able to attract several thousand supporters on a work day. The media can't spin it no matter how hard they try.

I heard that volunteers from 42 states came to Georgia to campaign to help Saxby, that's pretty cool. I just hope Saxby truly appreciate the effort that the people made in Georgia and outside to help him. I hope he doesn't go the route of "going along with the Democrat to get along".

I had to eat crow when I went to my local barber shop last week conservative black man. The barbers are die hard Obama cultists. The guy can do no wrong in their book. Since September every time I walked into the shop, they all would chant "here's little John McCain" lol. They really rubbed it in when last week, that was my first time getting a hair cut since the election. Conservative Black Man, I don't know why Democrats and especially Jim Martin thought that blacks were going to turn out just as strong for him as they did for Obama. If they voted in the General Election, then it's not that bad that they didn't vote in the run off, it's the ones that don't vote at all that are the disrespectful ones.

I live in a red state but a lot of Atlanta is very liberal. There is a huge gay population here too. I am originally from California, the most liberal state in the nation.
The Obama cultists are here too. I date one. I absolutely refuse to discuss anything remotely about him because she snaps at me if I saying anything that is neutral or critical and like I have said in the past she doesn't have a firm grasp on politics or history. It's all emotional for her. She even got upset when I balked at her coming over to watch debates with me. I reluctantly had her come by for the first one and I really bit my tongue the whole time. I don't want to slam her and hurt her feelings and start a big argument. So I just change the subject when it comes up.
I went to a Mike Huckabee book signing on Saturday night. I didn't even tell her about it.
Don't worry about the zombies at the barbershop. When their new god proves he's human, you'll be able to tell them that you tried in vain to warn them. The guys at my barbershop know they can't debate me so they don't try anymore. As a matter of fact, they didn't talk trash to me after the election. Several them admitted they put their morals aside to vote for the Chosen One.
I am happy the Saxby-Martin campaign is over. It was one of the nastiest campaigns I have ever seen. The funny thing is they are both fraternity brothers in Sigma Chi! But the commercials made the last several weeks of the Obama-McCain campaign look tame. It was that bad.

I see what you mean constructive. The white liberal Jim Martin thinking that the only way to appeal to black voters is to enlist the help of immoral ignorant gangsta rappers. If I was a resident of Georgia, I would feel insulted as an educated free thinking black man that this white guy thinks that all black people like that kind of music or respect those types of people. It is. I have yet to find a black thug that listens to blues, R&B, jazz or soul. The gangsta rap genre of music does have a negative impact on young blacks. There is absolutely nothing positive to come out of that music what so ever.

If you noticed constructive, the mainstream liberal media are the ones trying to make these rappers "mainstream". Two years ago Fox had a short lived show called "Method & Red". Those are the rappers "Method Man" and "Red Man". The rapper ICE Cube started in the movie XXX 2 Enemy of the State.
The rapper "Snopp Dog" was in several commericals from Tmobile, America Online, and Orbits gum. It seems like the more repugnant the person, the more they are liked by liberals.

I've noticed that behavior among Obama cultists too conservative black man. If anyone criticizes their beloved flesh and bones savior, they will be ready to fight. They take fanaticism to an extreme. How was the book signing conservative? I probably would have told her if I were in your shoes conservative black man for one reason. She may be entitled to her political and ideological views, but you have those same rights as well. I would have told her that I was going to see Huckabee. among black and white liberals, Obama can do now wrong in their eyes. Obama could murder someone in cold blood tomorrow and he will still have the same support he has now. As for the ones that put their morals aside to vote for Obama, they need to really check themselves. I wonder how they jusify their decission. Ever since Bush was sworn in the attacked the same with just three months ago with Palin. I have no desire to reach across the aisle either. I don't care about the "new tone". When the New York Times endorsed McCain during the primaries, I knew they were fattening McCain up to get whacked. If a person doesn't stand up for something he or she will fall for anyting. That was classic John McCain, he let the media and David Axlerod lead him around bhe nose. McCain was beyond weak, he reminded me of the political version of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood!!
