Chuck Schumer equates "talk radio" to "porn".
That is his "rationality" for why the "Fairness Doctrine" needs to be re established. The real reason Chuck and the liberal hoards want it back is, because conservative talk radio is a form of media that liberals can't beat in the open market place. Remember what I always say, "liberals always use one reason for wanting to promote an agenda in order to mask their "TRUE" intent. It has nothing to do with what Schumer says about being "fair and balanced". Schumer said talk radio should be regulated like porn is.

Equating Talk Radio with Porn the height of desperation and absurdity from Liberals! I admit that youtube video is pretty funny! What about those People who wanna take away our food choices. They equate snack food with porn talk about sensationalist rhetoric!
Liberals are only pro-choice when it comes to kill the unborn. They sure are not pro-choice when it comes to parents' rights to decide what schools are best for their kids. They are not pro-choice on guns either.

Chilerkle, are you talking about the city council in South Central LA that wants to establish a moratorium on the building of new fast food places, because the people are overweight? It's liberal logic on steroids chilerkle. They rather blame the company that sells a product that people actually want rather then blaming the people for not taking care of themselves and looking out for their own health.

The AM airwaves belong to ALL AMERICANS!!! The idea that one political party or political theory should enjoy almost exclusive use of public AM airwaves to promote their adgenda is adsurd! As someone who listens to AM radio, I should have a choice of views presented to me (just as I have choices on television or other media). If the radio industry cannot regulate itself and provide some element of choice to the audience, it is then entirely appropriate for government to assure that the AM airwaves reflect the media needs of ALL AMERICANS!!

The airwaves do belong to the public, yet the FCC can only monitor for offense content. The fairness doctrine does nothing in regards to that. People have freedom of choice when it comes to just about anything. It can be from choosing who to vote for to chosing what toppings you want on a pizza. The fairness doctrine is censorship at best and the forcing of other's view points on the public that doesn't want to hear it at worst. Competition is a great thing. It brings out the best in people and companies alike. Liberal talk radio has failed 3 times due to people not wanting to hear it. I don't blame them to be honest.
