Scare tactics we can believe in? Obama tries to frighten up support for his trojan stimulus bill.
Some people really have no shame. I feel so sorry for the poor saps that desperately wanted to believe that Barack Obama actually cared about them and their circumstances. Voters pulled the lever for Obama primarily, because they believed that he was the best person to deal with fixing the economy. With support for Obama's pork bill only at 35%, Obama had to hit the airwaves last night to deceive once again his loyal supporters into believing his pork bill will do as it is advertised, create jobs. Some can call me naive, but I don't think Obama using the chicken little "the sky is falling" approach is the best way of going about it.

We have heard that we were in crisis for months now. What has changed with the first stimulus package? Not much from what I am seeing here in OK. That is probably the case across the country. I am hearing that most of this is not even directly going to create the New Deal but for other non-crisis stuff.
If you say something long enough and loud enough you will self prophesy the thing into existence. I hope most people see through this. Whether it does anything to change the minds of those that are hellbent on passing this madness only time will tell. From my understanding one version of the bill cut out a lot of non-stumulus spending. If that is indeed the case the reconciliation of the two versions of the bill will be explosive to say the least.
I was not home last night. I did not hear about the press conference until this morning. I probably would not have watched it if I had been home. I'm tired of the sky is falling lie at this point.
This bill says that under Socialized medicine that the Gov. has the right to decide who reproduces or who lives. Medicine will be given only to productive members deemed fit by the Gov. Unfit would mean out black youths who decide to engage in criminals activites instead of school, just plain lazy girl and boys, elderly who no longer can work after years of being productive, deemed unproductive and undeserving of medical care. THIS IS SOCIALIZED MEDICINE UNDER THIS UNDEMOCRATIC
BILL. THIS IS WHAT THE MUSLIMS DO UNDER SHARIA LAWS.
I believe Obama should cut taxes and make starting a business in our country a feasible reality and that the US should start more manufacturing jobs and allow independent animation and movie studios a fair shake. Tax cuts makes entrepreneurs and all the other things I suggested a reality rather than more confiscating read(unfair tax burdens on taxpayers).
I also believe that turning our nation into a welfare state will bankrupt this nation!

It's like the saying goes pamela, the "devil is in the details". After listening everyday to the constant drum beat of doom and gloom from Obama, why would anyone who isn't hip to his scare tactics have any faith in America or it's future? Reagan was never like Obama. Reagan was always the eternal optimist and made people feel good about this country regardless of the situation. Obama does not have that quality at all. He doesn't even come across as sounding presidential. If he believes so much in his scam, why can't he just come out and tell the American people what exactly is in the bill that will help to create "private sector jobs"?

The insanely loyal, koolaid drinking Obama worshiping drones will never ever see through Obama Pamela, that's just not happening. There is actually some good news though Pamela. 65% percent of independents don't approve of this pork bill. Obama won thanks to independents. These type of voters aren't the mind twisted Obama cult followers like the hard left are. If this bill is signed by Obama, this could spell bad news down the road for him in 2012. The reconciled bill as it stands is 65% pork and 35% of so called stimulus totally $789 BILLION FREAKING DOLLARS!! When Obama puts his signature on the dotted line pamela, it will be like the iceberg ripping the gash on the titanic. The best thing McConnell should do is come out and explain as often as possible that Snow, Collins and Specter don't represent the overall position of Senate Republicans on this doomed bill. They should put as much distance from those three as humanly possible.

When inflationary pressure starts to materialize because of this bill, Obama isn't going to want to admit that the sky is actually falling for real, because he will have to admit it was because of his own doing, because they're will be no republicans to blame.

Just like with the scare tactics of global warming. It all comes down to an attempt by government to scare people into unknowingly giving up more and more of their rights to government thus making government more and more powerful. Under socialized medicine, young illegal aliens will have more importance in receiving treatment then elderly citizens.

If the people are suckered into giving up more of their freedoms, it may come a day that the government may dictate how many children can be had and what gender is acceptable "for the overall good of the country" of course.

It all sounds like common sense Chilerkle, but you are forgetting one important factor about Obama. Barack Obama is a neo marxist at heart, and he can care less about capitalism or the American entrepreneur spirit. He's about big government controlling people's lives.

Our country is bankrupt or very near being bankrupt Chilerkle. Our country can only print but so much money. At some point China is going to stop buying our treasury debt, and America will go the way of Iceland. I believe Obama and politicians in general know this. They are hoping that all of this happens when they are long gone from office. Notice how Obama has yet to explain how this so called stimuls is going to be be paid off chilerkle.
Yeah Obama doing what is best for the country is a foolish dream of mine. I don't know whether he is a deluded fool himself or he is really in on orchestrating the destruction of Our nation!
I really hate his followers the brainwashed dolts! Then again maybe Obama becoming president is part of Jeremiah Wright's plan to **** America for sure this time! Sounds far-fetched but judging by his disgusting agenda I'm not ruling out that possibility!
