Michael Steele bit off more then he could chew attacking Limbaugh. Part 2
After Michael Steele made his now infamous remarks about Rush Limbaugh, it looks like Steele has learned the error of his ways. I believe when Rush took Steele to task on his show Monday. That may have had a part in the swift apology. Anyways, Michael called Rush Monday evening to apologize for his remarks. The media of course won't let it go. That was to be expected. The so called "Obama- Limbaugh"feud" was their creation to begin with. Many conservatives behind the scenes gave Michael Steele an ear full. This is what Ken Blackwell said about Steele's comments.
Blackwell "On a phone call today, Blackwell described Steele's comments on CNN as "unfortunate and flat-out wrong." He noted that the environment probably contributed to Steele's comments (which seemed to please the host and other guest, rapper Chuck D), but that it was a "sophomoric outreach".
Ken took Michael to task in his comments, and he also noticed like I did that Steele was played by Hughley. When a so called conservative says something that pleases liberals, that so called conservative couldn't have said something that was "conservative in nature" to begin with. Governor Jindal weighed in on Steele and Limbaugh making up.
Liberals are now trying desperately to spin Steele's apology. They claim that by Steele apologizing to Rush, this proves Rush is the "leader of the Republican Party". These goof balls still don't get it A kooky left wing 527 organization known as "Americans United for Change" is running an ad trying to fan the flames that are already out. Liberals need a new "boogey man" in a "post Bush era" in which to channel their derangement. It looks like Rush has been given that job.

Rush Limbaugh opens his tirade at Micheal Steele with this quote;
"Micheal Steele, you are head of the RNC, you are 'NOT' head of the Republican party"
Say whuuuutt???? Rush explains to Steele that he's basically a "figurehead!" A "symbol!" A "Mikado!"
Tyrone you often compare the educational backgrounds of certain individuals. Let's contrast GOP Chairman Steele's, with de-facto Chairman Limbaugh.
Michael Steele;
-scholarship to Johns Hopkins University
-Bachelor's degree in international relations
-three years as a seminarian in the Order of St. Augustine
-Augustinian Friars Seminary at Villanova University in Pennsylvania.
-Georgetown University Law Center
-Juris Doctor degree
POLITICAL CAREER
-Chairman of the Prince George's County Republican Central Committee
-Republican Leadership Council
-Chairman of the Maryland Republican Party
-Lieutenant Governor of Maryland
-RNC Chairman
Rush Limbaugh;
-graduated from Cape Central High School
-Southeast Missouri State University (dropped-out)
Professional Life
-1970 Vietnam War draft status--classified "4-F" (no military service)
-1972 Disc Jockey, then radio talk throughout the next 25+ years creating controversy with his views.
-2003 caught "doctor shopping" for prescription drugs.
-Drug Addict.
POLITICAL CAREER
-Self appointed GOP leader!
Let's see here...A "high school grad, college dropout, draft-dodging, disc jockey turned controversial talk show host, law-breaking, drug addict, self appointed leader", tells a highly educated, elected political party official to "shut-up", and "you're not even the leader"! In turn, the elected official APOLOGIZES????
Watch the D.L. Hughley video again Tyrone. Steele begins his response in defence of his party by comparing the rhetoric of the left against George Bush. He goes on to say (with all honesty in his face as the words left his mouth), "Limbaugh is an entertainer!" Steele knew exactly what he was saying. Frankly, he spoke the truth as he see's it!
Once Steele apologized, Limbaugh was able to cement his position in the GOP. The next GOP presidential campaign will be run by Rush Limbaugh!
p allen ""Micheal Steele, you are head of the RNC, you are 'NOT' head of the Republican party"
Limbaugh was incorrect allen. Steele runs the RNC. The RNC controls the party. Steele as the RNC chair is basically the Chief Executive Officer. The committee is the board of directors.
p allen "Tyrone you often compare the educational backgrounds of certain individuals. Let's contrast GOP Chairman Steele's, with de-facto Chairman Limbaugh."
What's the point allen? Steele and Limbaugh are two different people in two completely non compatible roles.

You forgot he's a multi millionaire, twice New York Times best selling author, former star of his own television show and is the most well known and influential radio personality in America over the last 20 yeears allen. I knew you meant to say that right? Education doesn't play into this. Steele was wrong for what he said, and he was man enough to apologize. Funny how liberals are trying to attack Steele over his apology, when these same people can't stand Steele to begin with. You know I'm right. It's hypocrisy yet again on display.

Rush never claimed to be anything more then just an entertainer. If you ever listened to his show, you would have heard Rush talk about how much he loves being on the radio. Get the facts allen.

I've already read the story from the politico allen. I know the strategy Emmanuel and Carvel are trying to pull off. Trying to make Rush the new Bush isn't going to work. It's very weak. I guess Obama and his fellow liberals kooks need a new "GOP BOOGEY", since Bush is gone. Going after Rush as the new Bush isn't going to take people's attention off of Obama's economy. The only people that are buying this are the people that worship Obama in the first place.
CB:"Limbaugh was incorrect allen. Steele runs the RNC."
So Limbaugh owes Steele an apology...right?? Hah! It would be a cold day in hell!! lol!!!!!!
CB;"What's the point allen? Steele and Limbaugh are two different people in two completely non compatible roles."
Comparing educational backgrounds?? It's just something you do every now and then so, I figured I'd give it whirl...
Actually, according to popular opinion, their roles are the same. It's just that Limbaugh has more power and support!
CB;"You forgot he's a multi millionaire, twice New York Times best selling author, former star of his own television show...etc.."
You forgot that he's the "De-Facto" Chairman/Leader/Head of the RNC! It appears he's got all the right qualifications...for the RNC!
CB;"Rush never claimed to be anything more then just an entertainer."
Oh really??? So...ahhh.., what did Steele apologize for?
CB;"I know the strategy Emmanuel and Carvel are trying to pull off. Trying to make Rush the new Bush isn't going to work. It's very weak."
Now that's just sad Tyrone. The GOP is so dumb, weak and disoriented that James Carvel and Rahm Emanuel can cause mayhem within the GOP just by appearing on talk shows??? I thought that it took sticks and stones??? Obviously, "names" do hurt... the RNC!!
Moreover, it's Limbaugh who's making the demands upon the RNC! It's Limbaugh who told Steele that's he [Steele] is not in charge. It's Limbaugh that ignited the "Obama's plan must fail" fire! It's Limbaugh that insists that the Republicans should stand with him and his mantra! It's Limbaugh who sends out warnings an threats to the GOP. It's Limbaugh who the Republicans run to apologize to.
CB;"Going after Rush as the new Bush isn't going to take people's attention off of Obama's economy"
Obama's Economy??? How long has Obama been president??? A little over a MONTH???? And you think it's "OBAMA'S economy?"
Actually, it "Morktek 260's" economy. Who's Mortek 260 you ask? He's a exogenously extended organizational complex functioning integrated homeostatic cybernetic organic system that will control world economies in the year 3060. He hasn't been invented yet... but what the hell! If we can blame it on Obama, might as well blame Morktek!
Excuse me last time I checked The left savagely attacked Steele call him an oreo. Now The left is supposedly pretending to care about a man they vehemently despise. They are so low there is no point in trying to play fair since they always stack the deck in their favor in some way or another.
I'm still annoyed at Colin Powell for kissing up to the same people that savagely denigrated him during his term as Chief of State or Chief of Staff. Sure he's not a conservative but the Left's racial attacks on him were just mean-spirited as their attacks on Steele so I don't wanna listen to those fork-tongued hypocrites about fighting racism.
They've proven that racism is a political tool and not a vice they believe should be purged from society! The same hypocrites wanting a Fairness Doctrine are the ones who don't play fair so they're full of it!
