Can't liberals take a "joke"? This is a "teachable moment" number four. If liberals can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. When Bush was shown in the joker make up, I doubt the people in this video were showing the same outrage as they are now with Obama. What else is new?

Give me a break. Obama being depicted as the joker pales in comparison to the outright slander and hateful derision directed at President Bush and Governor Sarah Palin.

Calling Bush a Nazi without proof qualifies as slander. Calling Obama a socialist based on his actions as president is not slander. Calling Obama a racist isn't slander based on the fact he goes to a racist church and he agrees with sentiments in the book dreams of my father assuming he wrote it himself is not slander.

Messages to Rep. Scott.
First we need to get rid of 50% of the government and our country would still be over staffed. I served during the Vietnam war and the VA garnisheed my wages from social security for medicine. This is so low you can see how the government is. Vietnam Vets are still ignored. My problems with our country are:
1. We are being taxed to death to make the people in our government richer.
2. Our President gave us money back and the state and local government found ways to get it back in cigarette taxes and gas taxes.
3. They complain about the people on social security getting raises and some live on 600.00 a month.
4. They give billions away to other countries and over look what is happening what is going on at home.
5. we are in another war where the money spent could help the kids in America and many lives of the soldiers saved.
6. The racism is America is unbelievable. Stop It NOW. The white people in American history were slave also. You don't here them complaining. The people who are raciest are the ones complaining.
7. Our government taxes us for our pay and then taxes us on what we buy. They are getting it from every point. We are be double and triple taxed in every way and know one looks at this. There is federal, state, city, RITA taxes, taxes on every utility, food cigarettes, homes, cars. You name it and we are being taxed. Where does it stop MR.PRESIDENT.
8. We as Americans are losing all of our rights. For once Mr. President make a difference. You are turning just as greedy and demanding as the rest of the people in office. America is going to have to stand up and take our country back. We are hurting here and none of you care.
9. I still see the low and middle income people being taxed to death and singled out.
10. I love my country and I see it turning into the Hitler days. We need to stop the political bull in this country. The government only thins of their pockets and not the people. I am 60 and dying and I have seen a lot and this is the worst it has ever been. We are not free any more. AMERICANS STAND UP NOW OR LOOSE IT.

That is the very reason I believe we should vote out all of the career politicians that is where all the corruption is at.
Obama is a pure politician which is all the proof we need to know that he is up to no good!

It means that "anyone", be they Left, Right, Conservative, Liberal or whatever!
Although we might not agree on political issues, the one thing I will never agree with is provocative violent rhetoric which provokes, or promotes, violent acts.
I'm not saying that a person should not become "reactionary" when verbally attacked. Unfortunately for a politician, defending yourself from verbal attacks and political smears is just part of the job. However, violent rhetoric is an entirely different thing.
ANY WORDS, ACTIONS OR DEEDS THAT PROMOTES OR PROVOKES VIOLENCE IS WRONG! WHOEVER DOES IT!
There will be circumstances when we will not agree as to what is provocative language or images, and what is not. Some people might think it is a certain statement is, some people might think it's not. In my opinion the "joker" depiction of Obama is really no big deal.
Yet when an image is used to promote violence by placing a noose around the neck, or a hanging in effigy, or placing the word's "Death to" by the politicians name, those actions need to be condemned.
Name calling and insulting opinions (as when you called me a "yellow dog") among people of sound mind and good will often does not lead to violent acts.
However, when simple political rhetoric is "hi-jacked" by hateful and violent rhetoric those of sound mind and good will should speak out to quell, shut down, come out against the hi-jackers to prevent the possibility of violence.
