Another example of liberal logic gone bad. Meet the mayor of Wellford South Carolina.
Liberalism is a mental disorder. Allow me to ask a very simple question. If a police officer sees a criminal or a crime being committed, should the police officer pursue the suspect? To people who actually exercise common sense, the answer is obviously yes. I guess that must mean that liberal logic works backwards then. Sallie Peake is the mayor of Wellford South Carolina. She signed into law a bill that prevents the Wellford Police from perusing criminals either by car and by foot. In other words, the criminals are allowed to simply get away! I got a headache just listening to this dim bulb kook talk during an interview. The left have the nerve to say they represent the "mainstream" of America. What crack are they smoking? Listen to Ms. Peake and ask yourselves does her thinking represent mainstream America. People like Salie Peake should be in a nice padded room dressed in straight jackets for their own protection.

Wow, I guess we should just let people steal, rape, murder and do whatever they please without fear of reprisal by the police. How does someone like this woman get elected? Did she run unopposed? Was the person she was running against a felon? Part of me feels that if a town is foolish enough or stupid enough to elect a person like this with such crazy ideas then they kind of deserve what they get.
Using this woman's logic, why do we even have police at all?

I kept wrinkling my face in bewilderment and awe as I was listening to her talk allen. Sallie reminds me of another kooky liberal here in Baltimore. A few years ago, a councilwoman by the name of Mary Pat Clarke introduced a bill in the City Council that would have ordered corner stores to close whenever people gathered outside! So instead of the police just coming by and enforcing the no loitering laws, the businesses would have had to close instead allan. As for Wellford South Carolina, I would love to meet the people who voted this woman into office. I hope they are proud of their actions, their town thanks to their kook mayor has become a national embarrassment. This is what I don't understand allan. If the police can't chase any suspects at all, what would be the need for a police department in then? I have very strong feeling that crime will increase ten fold very soon now that the story has gotten out. Liberals are the ones defending the criminals. They are the ones who could care less about the rights of the victims.To them right is wrong and wrong is right.
Good grief! Wellford is just down the road from me. Guess if I ever decide to take on the criminal life I wouldn't have far too travel. Guess I'll have to take a drive there to look at the morons who elected this woman.

Reminds me of one of my cartoons I did that a woman was mugged by a black man and approaches a white police officer and demands that the officer go and apprehend the crook. Which the officer responds, "I'd love to, but then I would be accused of racial profiling."
