September 8th: The day of indoctrination for American kids. Part 1
The word "Nazi" has been thrown about a lot lately. A Nazi by definition was any German who was a member of Adolf Hitler's German National Socialist Party. The rise of Nazism in German started with Hitler's indoctrination of the German youth. Here's why Hitler's strategy was successful.
1. Hitler used his image as a father figure
2. Hitler extinguished dissent
3. Hitler used an organized program to keep his kids occupied
4. Hitler made certain that children were kept as ignorant as possible
5. Hitler used the Jews as a focus of blame
6. Hitler used a propaganda program
On Sept 8th, Obama is give a televised back to school speech that will be shown in classrooms nationwide. I may be wrong, but I don't recall any other president doing such a thing. A lot of parents are planning on pulling out their children that day, because they feel that Obama is trying to indoctrinate their children. Some may think that these parents are going over the top, but they have a valid claim to be concerned. This is the agenda that the Department of Education wants teachers to follow before, during and after Obama's speech. The principal at the Children at Eagle Bay Elementary School in Farmington Utah apologized for showing the children on August 28th a video entitled "I Pledge" . The "I Pledge" video was created back in January by actress Demi Moore. It stars a bunch of clueless hollyweird celebrities pledging their undying loyalty to being "servants" to Barack Obama.
The principal apologized for showing the video merely, because he was called out vocally for doing so by angry parents. Obama won the election thanks in part by young voters who really didn't know anything about Obama other then they thought he was "cool". Hitler relied on keeping the youth on his side and keeping them as ignorant as humanly possible. Obama's young drones can call the informed and educated opposition "racists", but the "Obama Youth" can't defend nor debate Obama's policies thanks to their in the dark ignorance. When Obama talked about the need for the creation of a "civilian security force" back during the campaign, I believe people are wondering will Obama's speech on September 8th the ground work for it.
I commented earlier on how Hitler rose to power for a reason. People will say that something can never happened until it does happen, then they end up saying "I never thought it could haven't happened". Are you willing to let yourself or your children take the "Obama" pledge?

Anyways, on Drudge this morning, it states that folks are reacting so vehemently, that the White House has decided to change things a bit- not sure how much, but I would most definitely not have my children exposed to ANY of it. Period. Funny isn't it, that with so much on his plate, he has so much time to speak to all American children in the schools- the private schools are being conjoled into it also- I am thinking that we are going to have to pray very hard and do all we can to do something to stop this man's agenda, in 2010- that is, unless ACORN totally throws that election! I belive Obama is definitely going to be a one term President Barb. I was thinking the same thing Barb. If Bush would have done something like this, the tinfoil hatters would have been claiming the same thing. Bush was attacked and rightfully so for not frequently reassuring the people when the economic crisis kicked up into high gear. I don't recall Obama once addressing the American people and talking about the economy to give people some sort of clarity one way or the other. Over six million people out of work, hundreds of thousands of people are losing their homes, cars. With all the turmoil going on around Obama, he wants to focus on the most unimportant things. Obama was on vacation for two weeks and the media of course sad absolutely nothing. If Bush would have done the exact same thing during this economy as President, he would have been called uncaring blah blah blah. A ground swell is happening in America. The lefts use of the race card isn't going to stop this. Americans see the writing on the wall when it comes to Obama. This is the making of a second American Revolution v2.0.
I saw the original pledge and I felt like blowing chunks. The pledge would have warmed me over were if Obama the marxist in chief wasn't asking this of me. If I want to do charitable work it will be of my own volition.

Several folks have told me that they will be pulling their kids out of school on the Indoctrination Day. Obama should cancel his speech, or else he will get a negative referendum. What part of NO does h not understand.

They have the right to do so! But you do need to know that attempting to get a child to understand and fear an ideological social agenda won't be an easy task.
I'd be interested in just how many people will actually not send their kids to school for fear of The President of the United States brainwashing their kids.
Most kids grow up learning that the president is a "true, honest, safe and patriotic type" figure. I truly wonder how many people are willing to strike "fear" in their own children, a fear of the President of the United States.
Right-wingers are stead fast in their mantra that President Obama is a socialist, fascist, communist and a racist. Granted, most children have no idea what communism, fascism, or socialism is, or how such ideology could effect their lives. However, most kids (at least by age 8 or 9) begin to understand the difference's in the sexes, and the "races."
It is my "OPINION" that if the kids parents are listeners of Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck, it's a sure bet that the child will be told they're not sending them to school that day because the president is a "racist" and is "a guy who has a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture."
Being that "kids are kids", it's highly provable that children "of color" (eg. Blacks, Latinos, Asians, etc...) might not totally take the idea to heart, being that they themselves are not white. White children, however, might be more susceptible to the fear because the angst would be directed at them. Let's not forget that "kids will be kids." So don't expect that fear of the president to end for the next 3 and a half years. (Or until another White president is elected)
Thus, you can be proud that your children will grow up learning that the first Black President of the United States is racist toward White people (and White children).
Do me a favor allen. Check out the link of activities the teachers are recommended to follow BEFORE OBAMA'S SPEECH. The students are suppose to "READ A BOOK" about a Obama. The book is "Barack Obama: Son of Promise, Child of Hope". Tell me allen. Why must the children read a book about Obama? You brought up as well as the media about Bush and Reagan addressing students.Was it ever suggested that the student read books on their life's story allen?

Where does it say that in the suggested Pre-k thru 6 "Classroom Activities" sent to schools? This is what my school received. I don't see anything about reading "Son of Promise, Child of Hope" there either.
Moreover, the activity suggested "before the speech" says "Teachers can build background knowledge about the POTUS and his speech by reading about PRESIDENTS and Barack Obama". That says to me that they be given a background about "PRESIDENTS" and the person that has, or is currently holding the office. But not a book simply about Barack Obama.

This entire issue is really baffling. Why are right-wingers attempting to stifle the president's address to school children? Why are they giving the impression to their "kids" that the President of the United States is attempting to harm them?
As I said before, most kids really have no idea what "socialism, fascism and communism" is, or how they relate to a social agenda or ideology. Yet most kids by the age of 9 or 10 understands the differences of race.
I'm beginning to believe there are more nefarious powers at work in this quest to stifle President Obama.

How come that doesn't surprise me in the least allen. First off allen, the speech to the kids about staying in school is one thing. It is suppose to be about "the students", not the PROMOTION of "Obama and" his ideology of peace love and whatever. If the DOE asked teachers to "engage their students in short readings" about the hisory of Bush and how he fought for just tax cuts, a strong military, traditional American values, you would be having a massive fit. No president regardless of party affiliation or ideology should be promoting their views on ideology or promoting themselves to students period allen.

I showed a video allen six or seven months ago about a teacher promoting Barack Obama in the class room, of course you just dismissed it as usual. The teacher degraded the students who liked McCain. Mock elections and talks about politics in the class room should be off limits. The curriculum is suppose to be about Reading, Writing, Science and Math not Politics and Ideology.

On your November 8, 2008 essay, I said this;
"Also, in many cases students want to know, and ask their teachers views on certain candidates or the candidates policies. I'm not saying that it's right for a teacher to impress or force their political views on students. But I will say that from my experience, "most" teachers would not attempt to "indoctrinate" their students with any particular political philosophy".
I don't attempt to indoctrinate my students, and "most" teachers I know don't attempt to either. I didn't say it was right, because I don't believe it is right to indoctrinate kids into any social or political ideology! Some one should have to Reagan that before he did it.
Tyrone, this is indeed another "foot in your mouth" moment for you. So I really don't expect to receive any type of response.
Excuse me from not reading all of your articles and fully understanding your political opinions, as I only stumbled across your page accidentally. You see, I was searching for images to use on my school paper about religious child indoctrination. An image of President Obama appeared so I follow it (of course getting of track of my paper in doing so). I ask one simple question about your post. I have seen the video in which he talked about school and did not sense any political themes but rather encouragement for students to try hard in school in hope of a better future. You said that no other President has done a back-to-school speech such as this but didn't famed Republican Ronald Reagan have a speech like this? And didn't he talk about TAXES during this speech?
I am just a student so forgive me for my limited view in the world of politics. I have no political siding, as my age contradicts my ideology. I just wonder how you can compare our president to a fascist leader who ordered the assassination of over 6 million Jews. If Obama becomes a man like Hitler, I will be proved wrong. I cannot predict the future, hence, I cannot tell whether he will transform into a Hitler-esque person. But otherwise, this post is absolutely offensive and ridiculous.
