I'm not going to sit here and tell you that I know what Teddy Kennedy "actually" thought about the government supplying health care for all Americans. Although you seem to think that you do know what he was thinking, I'd have to say that you have no idea either. (Unless of course you've been sleeping with him for 10 or 20 years)
The fact is, there's only "ONE" reason that Ted Kennedy had the best doctors available in the United States... for that matter in THE WORLD! The reason is;
TEDDY KENNEDY WAS RICH!!.
Money kept Kennedy alive, whereas if that were you with the same illness, it's doubtful you would have lived as long.

WOW!!!NO KIDDING ALLEN!!! WHAT A SHOCKER!! Ladies and gentlemen, Allen has just informed us that Ted Kennedy was rich! I know this going to come as a shock, but I need you all to stay calm on this. Serious allen, no duh!! In a roundabout way, you just proved my point. People who have private insurance can obtain the same level of health care coverage that Ted Kennedy was able to have. The government would never approve of the treatments for you nor me that Ted was able to pay for. You obviously missed the point of the video allen. Tyrone, I knew a lady who had the same kind of cancer that ted Kennedy had. She lived the same time that he lived and died in the same amount of time. America has the best care in the world and this lady was not rich, but an American. This cancer gives one a year to live, rich or poor.

I think I've run the word "wrong" into the ground when responding to you allen. I'm going to have to start using a different word.lol Anyways, you are still wrong again. Millions of people have cancer, and those who have health care do get treated for it by specialists. There are charities in our country that help to assist poor people in paying for the must needed specialist health care allen. The best health care does come at a price. The price to develop the best medical diagnosing equipment isn't cheap, the money needed to do research and development on a new drug isn't cheap. A doctor's tuition is definitely not cheap. So only a naive person would think that by the government taking over the health care system, all of the things I've mentioned will magically become "inexpensive", the cost of health care will actually go down, AND AND AND the QUALITY of the health care will remain the same. Welcome to la la land allen.
