Rush Limbaugh, fake quotes and thug journalism in America.
Why is the media retracting their stories that Rush Limbaugh made racist quotes? I'm curious about something. The people who have presented all of the racist quotes Rush supposedly said can't prove the dates in which Rush supposedly said them? Every show Limbaugh does is archived. Why can't the people that claim he made those racist quotes give the dates on which he supposedly made them? By them not providing the dates, it is easy for them to smear him as a racist. How does a person prove he or she isn't a racist? Where does a person go to get back their reputation after being stained with the word? Rush Limbaugh can say until he is blue in the face that he isn't a racist, people that hate him could care less. The racist card is just one dirty card in the liberal's deck of divisive race cards.

The only journalist I know so far who has recanted in real fashion (and without qualifications: "no excuses") the slavery remark falsely attributed to Rush has been Stephen A. Smith, in his comments to some of the posters here, after his article in the same link made the claims Limbaugh said those things:

He is still disturbed by a few other things attributed to Rush, where Rush did not deny saying them and where he does not see yet how it is taken out of context, but is willing to here Limbaugh's side out. Perhaps, Limbaugh should take him up on that offer. And perhaps like yourself can point out it is not the whole black community that hate Limbaugh, but just the liberals, since thus far the conservative black folks are the ones closing ranks in defending him.

Going back to the failed old trick are we allen? I thought I educated you on why the whole "Limbaugh is the leader of the republican" party strategy backfired. Why do you think Limbaugh is always going on about how the party is swifting to the center. If Limbaugh was the leader, the party would be a truly conservative party which it isn't. They've played the card so much though frank, the race card is worn out and is being held together by tape. Liberals look pathetically weak ever time they play it. You're right Thuyen. Most blacks never even heard Rush Limbaugh on the radio, so how could they hate someone they never even heard? The ones who claim he is a racist yet never listened to his show are just pure ignorant fools who want to act like they know what is going on. Rush isn't blaming anyone for what happened with his NFL ownership bid. He did point out that racist comments were falsely attributed to him by the media without checking the veracity of the claimants.
As I posted previously, I've listened to Rush Limbaugh for 17 years and have yet to hear "his daily prejudices filled sermons." I believe that you, like p.Anthony Allen, have only listened to Rush via left wing media clips carefully edited to be taken out of context.
So, let me get this straight. You support the NFL in it's decision to oppose Limbaugh as a minority owner of the Rams. Does that mean you also support Sarah Ferguson (Fergie) who got so drunk, she peed her pants on stage?
