Liberal radio talk show host John Sylvester demonstrates the liberal's new tone in "civility" towards the Lt. Governor of Wisconsin.
Enter the Wisconsin mascot who I guess represents liberal civility. Mr John Sylvester is a liberal talk show host from Madison, yes liberal talk show hosts are still around. They have very few listeners , but they're still surviving somehow. Before the era of civility, liberals and liberal talk show host would go to the extreme in their attempts to personally attack and defame any conservative or person who doesn't agree with their way of thinking. That was then before the era of civility, and this is now during the era of civility. So how would a liberal radio talk show host who doesn't agree with the Lt Governor of Wisconsin Rebecca Kleefisch voice his opposition to her under the"rules of civility"? I'm glad some of you may have asked that question. This is how he voices his opposition in a "civil" manner. He makes fun of her having colon cancer, and then proceed to make crude sexual jokes about her.
I wonder why Mr. Sylvester apologized for his civility towards Ms. Klleefisch? Take note everyone. Mr Sylvester could be a role model in helping other liberals adopt the new tone in civility in our country going forward, don't you think?

It is my understanding that Liberal talk radio is only successful in 2 major cities: one of them is Madison, WI (the other being Portland, OR, close to where I live). It would not surprise me if the listeners in Madison got a good chuckle out of this guys crudeness, though I would LOVE to be proven wrong. I have been to Madison. It is a lovely city, but the Liberalism in the city, from what I recall, was prevelant.
I'm surprised that liberal squawk radio isn't more popular in other liberal stronghold states. It was extremely gradifying to hear him tuck his head between his legs in having to backtrack and apologize for his comments. He was lying of course, when he said he wish he would have chosen his words better. He only said that, because he got caught, and he didn't expect it was going to come back on him. A liberal embarrassing him or herself is like a day in sunshine for me. :-)
Yeah right, Liberals love to use words and make them mean what they want those words to mean. I don't want to hear Liberals pontificate about civility when they've been anything but civil towards Sarah Palin.

Thank You Joe!! Liberals are the biggest HYPOCRITES walking the earth today. Nobody takes what hypocrites say seriously. They are so quick to point fingers at others but that finger never seems to do a U turn back in their direction.
Yeah, and Ms. Palin's "WTF?" response to the President's State Of The Union address represented exemplifies civility. Black people in America need to move beyond the notion that ANY ideology--Liberal as well as Conservative--will make us better. Only WE can do that.

Recently, Rush Limbaugh made a rather crude impression of visiting Chinese Chairman Hu. California State Senator, Leland Yee, was critical of Limbaugh's impressions and asked for an apology.
On his show the next day Limbaugh read a statement Senator Yee had written in which Yee expressed his offense to Limbaughs impression and comments. Following the mention of Yee on the Limbaugh broadcast, Yee received faxed death threats, in which Limbaugh was directly named as being the source of the information about Yee's complaints. Plainly put, the idiot who faxed the threat is a listener of the Rush Limbaugh broadcast.
If memory serves me correctly Tyrone, weren't you critical of Rosie O'Donnell when she made similar Chinese impressions on The View??

I read the fax here, now first off, faxes should be easy to trace. Furthermore, with the fax is the drawing of a pickup truck draped in the American flag. This to me is like saying "Hey, I'm whitey, I'm white trailer trash"; plainly put, until the perpetrator of this is caught, no, we don't know who did this. Look at ACORN, they are known for doing shady tricks, SEIU too. ACORN would not accept Sherwin Williams cleaning lead out of a neighborhood they had agreed to do ahead of time in Houston Texas, so people could lose the home where they lived while ACORN got money from Sherwin Williams, something like that, so they can do anything. This doesn't prove anything at all and it shouldn't be too hard to catch who made a fax. Also, I remember watching Saturday Night Live, I said this over at SF Gate because I'm enrolled over there too, anyway, the Saturday Night Live skit had a satire on a Latin/Hispanic type variety show with scantily clad women dancing and a guy in coat and tie singing like a Casanova, hey, they were making fun of the Latin culture and Spanish but no one gave a darn when they did it.
Let's not forget in these supposed death threads on Yee that when this fellow Laughner did his massacre in Arizona, within hours some lefty set up a facebook page trying to make it look like Laughner with misspelled name was a right winger. We must beware of the kinds of tricks that can be used until a suspect is apprehended.
I left two posts but there is so much of that, remember about a year or two ago we had all of these things Rush Limbaugh supposedly said, like saying the man who shot MLK should be given a medal? It was totally fabricated. How in the world do we know the same tricks are not up here?? Sure there is lots of bigotry out there. But why haven't any arrests been made on this yet??

Unfortunately there are to many Blacks caught up in either, demeaning themselves, enriching themselves, or consciously, or subconsciously catering to other racial interests. As a "minority group" in this country we should follow the example of other "minority groups" such as the Jewish and Arab communities. The only way to cure the ills of the American Black is for Blacks to work together politically, economically, spiritually, educationally and socially.

However, this story is about a nutcase who sent a threat to a state senator. That "person" (be it a liberal, conservative, marxist, homosexual, cannibal, martian, whatever...) listened to a Rush Limbaugh broadcast and decided to send the threat.
Thus, this conversation, and this thread, is specifically about how a radio personality should show some type of responsibility for the things they say. Not what you personally think about ACORN or the SEIU.
Civility has never been one of Limbaugh's traits. His insults come heavy and often. My point here is that this sort of "un-civility" has become common place among writers, radio, TV and talk pundits who differ in their political and social ideology. It's not just the left or the right...it's ALL OF THEM!
