The War On Women or the War on the Zimmerman Jury?

They're crazies on both sides of the coin regardless of race or political ideology. That will always be the case. It has been an interesting day reading the comments on twitter by the Internet rambos saying what is going to happen to George Zimmerman and demanding the addresses of the jurors.. Since twitter is world wide, I would think that the people issuing these death threats to Zimmerman and the members of the jury might be committing a felony, because their threats are going across state lines. I could be wrong, just saying. Anyways, I find it very disturbing by the so called tolerant progressive left over their reactions to the verdict. The left has put out a fake claim that the GOP has a "war on women" going, but look at who are the ones who are  threatening the all female jury? It's not the GOP. It's those very same progressives who claim to support Trayvon Martin. These are some of the
tweets by the twits on tweeter.

Fuck Zimmerman. Find the address of every fool in the jury .. "not guilty" .. Idiosyncrasy.

icecube surely somebody knows the address of the jury...

fuck zimmerman address give me the jury address and his lawyer address!

I want all 6 jury folks address !!!

i don't want zimmerman's address i want the names and contact info of the members of the jury

Show me the jury's faces. Give me those address'

Go to Simi Valley and surely somebody knows the address of the jury Pay a little visit, "Who is it?

Where these jury hoes stay? Can we get they address?

who all was in the jury..find they address and post them mfs too they need to get it just as bad as zimmerman

fuck Zimmerman's address. gimme ALL of the people on the jury address. fuck them.

Right ! What's the jury address we need to kill that Mf

 Hang the jury!

We Got ZIMMERMAN Address & We Need The JURY Address WE ON THEY ASS

Who was the black bitch on the jury? That's who we should be upset with. What's that bitches address?

Or we could KILL the jury & Zimmerman , both deserve it ! #FBI & Police can go eat a Big D !—

This is the Time the Gangs in America shud come as one and Kill Zimmerman and the whole Jury that decided this case.

The Bitches Who On The Jury They Needa Get Killed Too , Now Wtf Is There Address ?

Y'all needa kill the jury as well. they ain't no different

The purge should be in Florida just for tonight Kill the jury Kill Zimmerman. Kill the lawyers Kill Zimmerman wife

 Kill the jury

Somebody gone kill the jury ladies too! Lmfao.

I Say Kill The Jury Too Fuck It

Instead of killing George Zimmerman, how about we kill the jury while we at it. With they incorrect asses!!

BOL “@Moi_Az: FUCK THEM JURY'!!!!!! Kill them!!”

AND FUCK ALL THE BITCH ASS WOMEN THAT WAS ON JURY TODAY. I HATE ALL YOU BITCHES. I SWEAR I KILL YOU ALL IF KNEW WHO YALL WERE.

That was only a small sample. In a way it's very scary that people are so emotionally unhinged over a 17 year old boy who they would care less about if Zimmerman was himself black and shot Martin. This is progressive mob on display in all it's vile hate filled splendor. Morally, I believe this country is beyond gone. The deterioration of society due to pop culture has spawned these people.

And as far as the Tweets, you'll find idiots where ever you go. But what really strikes a chord with me, is the fact that there were far more "positive" messages than idiotic threats. Yet you refuse to point that out.

Twitter is not a "right or left wing" social outlet. I saw many who identify as right-wing who sent heart felt messages for Trayvon's family. I read several messages that didn't agree with the verdict, yet they were civil.

CB;"They're crazies on both sides of the coin regardless of race or political ideology. That will always be the case".

If you know this, then why would you only take offense only to what "progressives" wrote?

Trayvon Martin tried to kill George Zimmerman. He just failed at that as he did everything else in his life.

George Zimmerman, American Hero.

The craziness go on because it... COMES FROM BOTH SIDES!!! Conservatives nor Liberals have no ownership on stupidity or civility.

Face the facts, the American public is divided on this entire case. The left accuses the right of racism, and vis-versa, which effectively means that dummies on both sides are race baiting. So the more we both show disgust about the other sides ignorance, the more the fire is fueled.

The trial is over the jury has spoken and Zimmerman was acquitted. The Martin family has stated they will pursue civil charges against Zimmerman for his actions, which is within their rights. The media will follow this also. The smart thing to do is for those on both sides of the issue to ignore and not listen to all the stupidity and ignorance.

It's not that I refused to point that out, people knew there are joyous people glad Zimmerman was acquitted. The people who are issuing death threats are far more then you think. The national media who helped orchestrate this are not going to post what the fake supporters of Trayvon Martin are saying and are now doing (rioting, vandalism). I seem to always report what the national media doesn't want to allen.

I can agree with to a point. This whole trial took on racial overtones by blacks who had nothing to do with this case. The parents of Trayvon Martin were not the ones charging racism, all they wanted was Zimmerman to be tried for Trayvon's death. It was the black racial parasites who latched onto the opportunity to have turned this into the national mess that it became allen.Tell me why the Obama DOJ is now investigating this case for possible civil rights violations charges? The case is over. There is no evidence that racism was a factor in this. Certain people just have to keep fanning racial flames in order to point to them afterwards to prove that they are there. Truth be told, I hope that the Martins win in a civil case. Though I believe Zimmerman acted in self defense based on the evidence, I do also believe that he should not have been carrying a firearm as a neighborhood watch person.

p allen "The media will follow this also. The smart thing to do is for those on both sides of the issue to ignore and not listen to all the stupidity and ignorance"

There is the problem allen. When the national media keeps pounding the freaking drum on this over and over, how can anyone escape it in order to ignore it? It the national media who got everybody so worked up over this mess in the first place. Now that the verdict didn't go their way, they are gong to be more hell bent then ever to keep this going and dragging everybody else along.

I'm not denying also that racists who are white also latched onto Zimmerman just as black racists latched onto Trayvon. That left people who just wanted to be left out of it in the middle. Any idiot who says that George Zimmerman is a hero is indeed an idiot allen. George Zimmerman is and was no hero and Trayvon Martin was no saint. We can both agree on that.

The media does, what the media does! That's the plain and simple fact! You have a remote for your television...use it! You have control over the search engine and URL on your computer... don't type it! You have "delete content" on all electronic devises...press it! Newspapers and magazines require that you pick them up to read. If you do pick one up... turn the page!

Sounds like a lot to go through just to avoid the media's attention to a story? Hell, people do a lot, and will spend a lots of money to avoid and keep away common insects and rodents. But like the media, insects and rodents serve a purpose in the overall scheme of life. Mass media is here and it ain't going away. If a person get's "worked up" over what the media says or does, the problem is not with the media, the problem is with the person.

As a matter of fact, most people I know are not "worked up." Most folks I know (black and white) have only voiced an opinion on the case. Granted, the vast majority here in Detroit believe that Zimmerman should have been found guilty. But that doesn't mean they've been "worked up" by the media's reporting. All it means is that they have an opinion, and they've opined.

Here's a video of the reaction to the verdict and protest in Detroit. I want you to take notice to a couple of things. First off, the size of the crowd. Their are nearly 800,000 residents in the City of Detroit. Yet only a few hundred were in attendance. Does that look like the people of Detroit are "all worked up?"

Secondly, mind you that ninety percent of the residents of Detroit are black. But looking at the crowd you will see quite a number of whites. My point here is that the media attention and the not guilty verdict can also "inspire" people for peace (and justice) and not "work people up" into a crazed frenzy. Sure, there are plenty of "assholes" (using a Zimmerman term) that will cause problems and create mayhem. But peace and civility always conquers ignorance and stupidity.

So, the media coverage is there for those who want it, and perhaps for those that feel they need it. You can only be "dragged along" if you choose to be.

Since death threats is a serious offense, I wonder where the NSA stands on this since they are now under investigation for delving into the private lives of Americans with their e-mails and all other social media outlets?

While they were doing that, I wonder if they did take the time to arrest and confront those who threaten the lives of those involved in the case, namely Zimmerman and his family? Why wasn't Spike Lee arrested for tweeting George Zimmerman's (wrong) address that endangered the lives the people who have been living at that address?

P. Allen-"Do you think Spike Lee should have been arrested? At the time did you want him to be arrested?"

If someone tweeted my address and I'm being harassed and threatened, regardless if I share the same name with George Zimmerman, yeah, I would want Spike Lee arrested for endangering my life! I would see to it that he be prosecuted for violating my civil rights and invasion of privacy. I don't care if I am THE George Zimmerman and he tweeted the wrong address. How many George Zimmerman's are there in this country? Probably a million.

Here in Washington, a person who went by the name of George Zimmerman was getting harassing phone calls because of the Trayvon Martin case. Others who went by the surname of Zimmerman have been harassed and their names were not George. Thanks to local law-enforcement, they traced the call(s) and arrested the caller. All he was slapped with was with misdemeanor charge.

And I'm sure you would want the same thing too if someone (Spike Lee, or not) for tweeted your address, and endangering you or your family. Even if there was person who shared the same name as you who is on trial for murder.

The words of the “pro-Zimmerman” quoted by ACM in the post, are not in the same category as the words of the “pro-Trayvon” quoted in the comment by p.a.a. The former “pro-Zimmerman” bloggers are people who have blind spots that are yet to be enlightened to the whole setting, and whose hate is based in ignorance. But the latter “pro-Trayvon” bloggers are people who have let themselves be scarred by bitterness and weakness (as MLK Jr. often warned not to do no matter the oppression) and who cannot be reasoned with and who reflect by their death threats and f-words and CAPS and many exclamation points that they are dangerous nutjobs to stay away from.

Thirteen people were arrested after multiple acts of vandalism and several assaults in Los Angeles' Crenshaw District, Mayor Eric Garcetti and Police Chief Charlie Beck said at a news conference.

Big Pop;"yeah, I would want Spike Lee arrested for endangering my life!".

Did you gather all the facts first behind the "re-tweet" made by Spike Lee?

Did you know that a person by the name of Marcus D. Higgins, a 33-year-old Los Angeles man, was the one who first sent the tweet?

Did you know that Lee stepped up and apologized, then compensated the elderly couple for their losses and the disruption to their lives?

Did you know that pursuant the "re-tweet" no one was physically harmed?.

Did you know that because of his dumb actions of "re-tweeting" a persons address, Spike Lee himself began to receive racist messages and threats?

Yet here, several months after the incident has been resolved, you still believe he should have been arrested? Granted, Lee "did the wrong thing" when he re-tweeted a persons address. However, realizing his stupidity, he stepped up and "did the right thing" by apologizing and paying the people for the grief he caused.

Conversely.... Did you believe that George Zimmerman should have been arrested? At the time, did you want him to be arrested?

Spike Lee was able to avoid the criminal court process because he stepped up, admitted his mistake, and paid restitution. Granted, I have no idea if you believe that Zimmerman made an extremely costly and dumb move by following a 17 year old boy, then killing him. But if you do believe he made a bad decision, would it or would it not be fair to do as Spike Lee did? Zimmerman first offered an apology during his bond hearing, which was several weeks after he killed Martin. He has never indicated that he will, or has intent to pay any compensation.

Fair is fair...right?

I knew this was going to happen. The mob didn't get their way in the hanging of Zimmerman, facts be dammed. So now they have resorted to acting like animals. In warped thing about their actions is that they actually feel they are entitled to destroy other people's property over a verdict that doesn't impact them what so ever.
It's time for the police to send a very stern message to these misfits and losers about respecting the rule of law. I was thinking yesterday, the only people that would protest on a Monday are those who don't have jobs. If that's the case, maybe they should have been hitting the pavement looking for employment rather then acting like dam fools.

Spike Lee should be sued for his actions. He "stepped up" and apologized only AFTER he got "CALLED OUT" for his actions to begin with. So please allen, don't try to make Spike out to be some sort of remorseful person who seen the error of his ways. Furthermore, retweeting Zimmerman's family person's information. If a crazy would have acted on that info, he would have been equally as liable as the first person to have tweeted the info.

Karma is a bitch sometimes. Maybe he should have thought about the ramifications of his actions before he made his emotion filled, logic void decision.

Spike Lee and all the other celebrities think they're above the law; it's an ego thing. Just because he makes far more money than you and I or anyone involved in this debate, doesn't mean he could (and if you pardon the pun) get away with murder(I'm speaking metaphorically).

As for the wrong George Zimmerman I felt "sold his soul" to Spike Lee for monetary gain.

CB;"Spike Lee should be sued for his actions".

Spike Lee has already paid the family. Obviously it was sufficient restitution for the family and the lawyers.

"The McClains claim is fully resolved, Matt Morgan, their attorney, said in an email to Nation Now. Mr. Lee personally called them to give a very heartfelt apology. Further, he agreed to compensate them for their loss and the disruption to their lives".

So you're hoping that they still sue him after settling with him? Normally when people settle a civil dispute out of court, an agreement is reached that doesn't allow the claimant (plaintiff) from re-filing the same claim. Perhaps you know something I don't know.

CB;"Karma is a bitch sometimes. Maybe he should have thought about the ramifications of his actions before he made his emotion filled, logic void decision".

Very true. I believe he learned his lesson because he called the family personally, then made an offer to compensate them.

To the best of my knowledge, Zimmerman has never contacted the Martins directly to explain nor apologize for KILLING THEIR SON!

Answer this; You believe that Spike Lee should pay again (be sued) for re-tweeting the wrong family's address and putting their lives in danger. So, do you believe that George Zimmerman should pay for blindly accusing a 17 year old boy of "possibly" committing a crime that the 17 year old boy was not committing, then follow the boy, fight with him then KILL HIM? If Spike Lee should pay for bad judgement (to which I agree he should) shouldn't George Zimmerman pay for bad judgement???

My answer is, No. I do not because most black people in America are not that foolish to do that. Also, after the Zimmerman verdict there were some looney whites out in the street crying about it.

The words "black" and "white" are not found in my two earlier comments. However I will not let such mindless rioters off the hook whatever their race.

First, Zimmerman never accused Martin of doing anything. The <a href="http://www.documentcloud.org/documents/326700-full-transcript-zimmerman.html>transscripts from the 911 call</a> infer that Zimmerman suspected that Martin was behaving suspiciously. Reading the complete transcript dispels the notion that Zimmerman chased and/or stalked Martin. Zimmerman tells the 911 Dispatcher that Martin ran and continues a conversation with the dispatcher. If he was still following Martin, he would have informed the dispatcher that he still had Martin in sight - not give his address and make sure they had his cell phone number.

The hype from this case has caused people to ignore pertinent facts about this case. One of those facts was that Martin had a cell phone. I don't know about anyone else but if someone I don't know is following me and I have a cell phone; I'm going to call 911. Another important fact was that Martin was approximately 65 yards from his father's residence. If I think I'm being followed, I'm going to a public place and call 911. If I'm near my home, I'm going home and call 911. Trayvon Martin did neither of those things. If he had, things could have turned out a lot differently. The same could be said for George Zimmerman. If he had stayed in his vehicle, there could have been a different outcome to this tragedy. None of those things happened but it's disingenuous to place all of the blame on George Zimmerman.

ANon;"I don't know about anyone else but if someone I don't know is following me and I have a cell phone; I'm going to call 911".

You're right...you "don't know about anyone else!"

Seventeen year old blacks boys "DON'T" call 911 because someones following them. Most "urban" seventeen year old boys have a suspicion of police. You know the suspicion I'm talking about. The equal feeling of suspicion that Zimmerman had about Trayvon. Seventeen year old urban youth feel that when the police are around, they're really not there to help them. You know, that same feeling Zimmerman has when seventeen year old urban black boys are around, he feels that they're not there to help him.

Anon;"None of those things happened but it's disingenuous to place all of the blame on George Zimmerman".

If you conclude that had Zimmerman stayed in his car none of this would have happened, how can you possibly believe that Trayvon hold's any responsibility????

If the sign at a pedestrian crossing says "Don't Walk" and you run out and get hit by a car, is it the drivers fault?

How in the hell can you say "had you NOT done something", yet not take complete responsibility? That's like saying, "had I not been playing with a gun, I wouldn't have shot my foot off!" Yet and still, a real dumb ass with come up with excuses, like; "I should have had the safety on, or, I should have checked to see if it was loaded, or a bullet in the chamber." Dumb Ass... you shouldn't have been playing with a gun in the first place!!

Not knowing about anyone else is not the only thing you don't know Anon....

Still avoiding the inconveniet points, paa. You're excuse/explanantion is that Martin didn't call 911 because "most urban seventeen year old boys" have a suspicion when it comes to the Police. Odd, I didn't know you spoke for and are in tune with the mindset of "most" of the "urban seventeen year old boys". It still doesn't excuse nor does it explain why someone with a cell phone would opt to not call 911 when being followed by someone they do not know. I'm black and I never had any issues with the Police while I was growing up.

paa said:If the sign at a pedestrian crossing says "Don't Walk" and you run out and get hit by a car, is it the drivers fault?

I love that analogy, well done!! So, if a a young man (Martin) who is close to home, decides to attack a suspicious person (Zimmerman) following him, is shot and killed; is it the fault of the person being attacked (Zimmerman) or the attacker (Martin)?
