Why is Obama such a staunch defender of Islam?
No other president in the history of the United States has been the biggest supporter and defender of Christianity oops I meant Islam then Barack Obama. People on the right have been telling me for years that Obama is a radical Islam sympathizer, I never really paid it much attention. I just thought of him a fake Christian who attended a cult for 20 years with the racist Jemimah Wright as his "spiritual" mentor. However, my thoughts on the so called Christian Barack Obama are changing or as the left said about Obama on the issue of gay marriage "evolving". At the National Prayer Breakfast, the so called Christian took the chance to attack Christianity by claiming that many atrocities were also committed in the name of Christianity just like Islam and that Christians don't have the moral authority to single out Islam for the violence being committed around the global
As Christians are being slaughtered in parts of Africa and the Middle East at the hands of ISIS, Al Queda etc, Obama has remained pretty much silent as these brutal atrocities continue. Obama on the other hand wasted zero time in coming out in trying to defuse the anger many people felt over the Islamist attack on the French Satire Newspaper Charlie Hesbo. I don't believe I've ever heard of nor read a story of Christians attacking anyone due to that person mocking or disrespecting a symbol of Christ. That is the true moral equivalence that can not be drawn by Obama nor anyone else on the left. What Obama and progressives can't admit is that there is no Christian, Jewish, Hindu nor Buddhist versions of ISIS, Al Qeada, Hesbola, Islamic Jihad, Boko Haram etc. I don't know where did Obama get the notion that Christianity was responsible for slavery in the Untied States. Anyone who studied U.S History and the era of slavery knows that slaves were used for cheap labor. As for Jim Crow, again I don't know how this fool thought that Jim Crow was somethingng that was created out of religion by Christians. This is the reason why Christians have responded so negatively to what Obama has said. It's because there is no factual basis for any of it. The more Obama tries to defend Islam, the more he makes an utter fool out of himself. I remember when Obama claimed that the United States "we are no long a Christian nation.".
yet the MAJORITY of Americans still identify themselves as Christian. This just goes to show how completely out of touch Obama is. To go further he claimed at the National Prayer Breakfast that Islam was "our" religion. Of course the national media didn't dare ask him what he meant by that. They have simply gone after in trying to discredit those who heard him said it. Is Obama truly a Muslim who can't help himself in defending his true faith when the circumstances demand it?

First off, "cheap labor" and "free labor" are two entirely different things. Second, President Obama did not say that Christianity was "responsible" for slavery... you did! But I digress,

"Proslavery: A History of the Defense of Slavery in America, 1701-1840" by Larry Tise, Professor of History. Ph.D., University of North Carolina.
In the book Tise chronicles how hundreds of MINISTERS, some who moved to the South from Northern cities, used RELIGION (Christianity) to justify slavery.
Are you really that brainwashed and propagandized to believe that the "Southern Bible Belt" (which it has been referred to for at least a century) did not use religion to justify slavery? Honestly Tyrone, your assertions show just how ignorant you are with concern to how religion played a key role, not just in American slavery, but also in Jim Crow Laws.
Jim Crow segregation laws began during the reconstruction era. In Louisiana a group calling themselves "The Redeemers" sought to throw out the so-called radical Republican coalition of Black freedmen and Northern carpetbaggers. They chose the name because of the term "Redemption" which is based on Christian theology.
There are plenty of references, articles, books and other writings "ON-LINE" where you can find these "FACTS" about religion and slavery. I suggest you do some reading and research before you make any further uninformed misguided statements.

As I discussed on another topic on your blog, Obama has said in the past that his father was a Muslim (and according to Islamic teachings, a child born of a Muslim father is regarded as Muslim) and his step-father who raised him for part of his life while living in Indonesia was a Muslim. In addition, there was a document produced from the Catholic school he attended while in Indonesia that listed him as Muslim. In light of these things as well as his comments, actions, and Freudian slips ("my Muslim faith comment during an interview with George Stephanopoulos) while President, why is it a surprise to some that he might actually have views aligned with Islam or even be a Muslim?
Brian Williams fabricates a military event and he gets a 6 month leave of absence to reflect and purge himself. This con man insult Christianity by equating the bravery of the Crusaders who protected Catholic Christendom from Muslim domination and still remains in office!! Wow!

Yeah Phil, it's similar to the saying if it looks like a duck and squawk like a duck and walks like a duck then it has to be one. I've never known for Obama to ever go into detail about how he became a "Christian" or what made him decide to come on, and of course nobody in the media ever asked him either.

It's to be expected Renee. We have a media who kisses Obama's ass and Republicans who cowards, the end result is Obama can get away with anything and has. The who Brain Williams thing doesn't really phase me for one reason. We all know that journalistic integrity has been erased from the national media for almost 30 years now. Why should only "Democrats" apologize for slavery? Slavery was a legal institution in the U.S. long before the Democrats were a political party. Frankly, it was White European Christian settlers who brought the practice of chattel slavery to America with them.
Additionally, to being members of the KKK, Southern Democrats who were KKK members are sworn in as being White Conservative Christians. To this day still, to become a member of the KKK you must be a White Conservative Christian. Soooo... since slavery was around long before the Democrat party was founded, and White Christians are primarily responsible for creating the practice in America, and conservatives were responsible for maintaining the institution, when will White Conservative Christians apologize for slavery and the KKK?

And who else participated and profited off the slave trade in the Americas, Allen? The north and sub-Sahara Africans, that's who. So, they are just as guilty as these White Christian Europeans. Remember Allen, slavery too was practiced by non-whites here in the Americas: the Cherokees, southern blacks, and as practiced as far down south to Brazil.
So, why do the Left have to identify slavery as if it has always been the practice done by only Christian? Slavery has been just practiced by non-Christians, such as Jews in the Old Testaments, the Muslims; societies that practiced polytheism such as the Romans, the Egyptians. And as far east to Asia and the Pacific Islands. Sadly, slavery is still being continued throughout the world and they're not all being performed by Christians.

You left out "extremist" Allen. Are you suggesting that "Christian conservative" have connections with the Republican party? Before you bring up Klan member and former Louisiana governor David Duke as an example, he was Democrat long before he converted over to the Republican party in 1989. The Left never left this alone and attacked Strom Thurmond (a former Democrat) for being a segregationist, and Trent Lott for praising his views. Yet, they still gave Robert Byrd, a Democrat and a former Klansman a free pass.
Anyway, I have known plenty of Christians, and I have never seen any signs of extremist views coming from them. However, the Left always seem to have this notion that the Christians who oppose same-sex marriage and abortion as being too extremist. Not too long ago the Southern Poverty Law Center listed Dr. Benjamin Carson as being too extremist for his stance on same-sex marriage and put him on their list and later removed him. So, the real question you should be asking Allen, when will Democratic Christians extremist apologize for slavery and the KKK. How about they too apologize for their predecessors for filibustering Civil Rights bills, and Jim Crow?

This isn't a question of "which came first, the chicken or the egg..." The first African slaves were brought to the new colonies from the Caribbean in the early 1600's. This occurred TWO CENTURIES before the founding of the Democrat Party.
Therefore, as for the political forces, be they called Democrats, Republicans, Demopublicans or Republicrats, enslaved people for their own economic and social gains. Abraham Lincoln, the Republican politician that freed the slaves, stated himself that freeing the slaves was a "political decision" made in order to preserve the union.
So it really didn't matter (in name) what political party supported slavery. It just so happened that the Southern Democrat party, who had a huge economical interest in the institution, who happened to adopt the name "Democrats." Yet, like their Northern counterparts, Southern Democrats had one undeniable trait in common with the Northern Republicans.
Yes they were White and Christian!
That's why slavery really didn't matter to Lincoln. That's why after reconstruction Northern Republicans turned their backs on the freed slaves. That's why the U.S. American Colonization Society created an African country to send Blacks. Among Whites, the negative sentiments against "free Blacks" went across all political and religious lines.
It just plain crazy how some so-called conservatives ridicule a Black person that explains how the effects of America slavery has bearing on the present day conditions of Blacks in America. Yet, a conservative is rather quick to point out that "Democrats" were responsible for slavery and Jim Crow, and how DEMOCRATS SHOULD APOLOGIZE FOR SLAVERY.
So, if slavery and Jim Crow has no bearing on the conditions of Blacks today, why should the Democrats (who you say are responsible), why should they apologize? If something tragic happened to, or within your family generations ago, that had absolutely no bearing on your family today, would you seek an apology? I've often heard present day Whites say that "they had nothing to do with slavery, it's in the past." Well, present day Democrats had nothing to do with slavery either. Yet you think that the Democrats should apologize???
Democrats were not responsible for the institution of slavery. White Christians were.

Scott Roeder who murdered Dr. George Tiller. Jim David Adkisson who shot serveral people and killed two in a church in Tennessee. Christian Right terrorist with ties to the Army of God, Paul Jennings Hill. Timothy McVeigh. Shawna Forde of Minutemen American Defense, orchestrated the home invasion murders of a 9-year-old Latina girl and her father in their home. James Charles Kopp who killed Dr. Barnett Slepian and was part of the Roman-Catholic anti-abortion group “The Lambs of Christ.” I could go on if you like...

Why is it so hard to fathom (believe) that White Christians were responsible for American slavery? There were no Romans, Egyptians or Asians buying and selling African slaves in South Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama and Louisiana. Slave traders were primarily (if not solely) White Christians.
But go ahead and spin the truth all you want. Obviously it makes you feel better to paint a different picture of documented history.
Muslims and Animists also are responsible for Slavery, Whites also were sold into Slavery by Muslims.
Muslims are and were involved in the Slave Trade.
Also, per websites, since 911, Muslims have committed over 25,000 acts of terror.
Bigots bring up a few unique acts Christians have done. Bigots like Hussein Obama.
