A Veterans Day message to those who served.

To the heroes of our country that are more then worthy of our admiration and respect. It takes a special person to donn the uniform of the military and be ready to put one's self in harms way at a moments notice. These men and women serve our country not looking for fame or fortune, they do it for love of country. To the members who are currently serving and who have served in our Armed Forces.

WE THANK YOU!

Hello, Tyrone! I have already thanked a veteran today, my husband who retired after Desert Storm, under Bush 1. He was a Green Beret, and served admirably- he has a lot of physical problems now, and this despicable President and Congress are now trying to take away his TriCare Insurance that he has worked for and waiting for-he has 1 1/2 yrs. to go before qualifying for full, family benefits- we have been paying for our own health care, so we can qualify for full benefits, and now it might disappear! My husband and his partner, another retired Special Forces soldier, run a pawn shop in Pimlico, Baltimore- they do their best to help the community down there, but at times, it seems almost beyond hope. Anyways, sorry to drone on- I am very proud of him and all he and his brothers have done and continue to do for our country! By the way, need I even say what he thinks about this fraud-in-the-capitol?

I respect people who served in the armed forces they have the guts to do what I wouldn't do.
They are braver than most people I know.

I hate how the Left disparages our soldiers. A nation without an Army isn't a nation at all.

Even the Native Americans had warriors to defend their interests in the past.

The biggest disrespect to the men and women in uniform is having the person at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave as their Commander in Chief. Think how odd that truly is. The current Commander in Chief of the United States military launched his political career in the living room of a man (William Ayers) who bombed the nerve center (Pentagon) of the United States military. Our military deserves better leadership then what is currently passing for it at this moment hands down.

CB;"It takes a special person to "dawn" the uniform of the military...".

Slight correction needed...

"It takes a special person to DON the uniform of the military.

Not tryin' to one-up-you, just thought I'd give a little help...

Gratitude, recognition and a hailful salute to all those who presently serve and have served on behalf of our country.

Thats fine allen. It isn't like you could one up me if you tried anyways. lol I know you are going to keep "tryin" though right? ;-) I'm glad to see you showing respect to the military. If only your fellow liberals could follow your lead allen, they wouldn't been seen in the military hating light that most people seem then in. I give you credit for being an exception to the liberal rule.

Allen, Tyrone is not mad at you for correcting him. I wish to thank you also, but you must do the same when we correct you. At least stop the sarcastic commenting re: Islam. Hasan is part of 1.5 billion insane Muslims esp the black ones who join a religion and bow to a god who said they were cursed and ugly, nappy headed and pug nose slaves (abed in arabic) created black to be easily recognized by whites and then hellfire.

You're welcome Anon...

But.... do the same?? Do the same, and thank you for what? Since when have you corrected me??

Anon;"At least stop the sarcastic commenting re: Islam. Hasan is part of 1.5 billion insane Muslims esp the black ones, etc...".

Anon... read very closely and carefully.

If you don't wish to read my sarcasms, don't address me with your crazy anti-Muslim rhetoric.

Mind you, I am in no way telling you what you should or should not, can or cannot write on Tyrone's blog. Frankly I try to ignore most of your rhetoric. But it is your choice and your right to feel, believe, think and express whatever you want. My point here is, you need not address me with your anti-Muslim rhetoric.

In all honesty, my intent is not to insult you, but more so to annoy you. I say this because from time to time you have annoyed me.

If I address you on this or any conversational venue, you have the right to answer me in any way you choose...be it a compliment, flattery, sarcasm or outrage... I can even take a insult...

So if you wish to continue to address me personally, here or any where else, with the same type of rhetoric, I only can and only will continue the sarcasm.
