Tell me again that Christmas isn't under attack by so called "tolerant" liberals Part 1
Leading up to Thanksgiving, I was bewildered watching people go out of their way not to say to others "Happy Thanksgiving". Instead like clockwork, they kept uttering "Happy Holiday". To me it was beyond weird. I expected people with inferiority complexes to do such things around Christmas but not around Thanksgiving. It was because of the white washing or sterilization of Thanksgiving by removing it's name that I knew the word Christmas was going to be sponged this year now more then ever. True to form, I have been proven right . Kooky leftist claim that there are no attacks on Christmas. Of course, their words are as legit to me as a three dollar bill. I know better. I've seen the word "holiday" display, "holiday" trees, "holiday" sales, "holiday "gifts etc. Why do liberals feel they can play people who are smarter then them for fools? We weren't exactly born when the last drop of rain fell. This is the CHRISTMAS season. Black Friday is the official start to the CHRISTMAS shopping season. A Christmas Tree is exactly what it is. It isn't a "holiday tree" nor a "winter tree". I am so sick and tired of the stupid politically correct BS. Pardon me for my not so use of french. I've gotten to the point where I am so fed up with the slap happy insanity of the left when it comes to issues that are common sense!! For those of you who are naive enough to believe that Christmas isn't under assault. Here's a story I came across yesterday. JP Morgan Chase bank has banned any displays of Christmas Trees in their branch lobbies. Gee, I wonder do they still have the "Christmas Club" saving accounts? Here's the hypocrisy by the P.C grinches over at JP Morgan Chase. They have a strict policy in not letting Christmas Tree be displayed in their bank branches, but they have one displayed in their New York City Headquarter lobby! Every year I play this clip by Foamy the Squirrel about the attacks on Christmas for one simple reason. It's all true!! Listener discretion is advised.

Tyrone, you said you came across the Red Cross story yesterday. It just so happens that story is eight years old!!!. The Red Cross denies "banning" Christmas. However, they do add that they are not a religious based organization.
FYI, the founder of the Red Cross, Clara Barton was a deist. Ironically she was born on Christmas day.
Some individuals, be they liberal or conservative, might have issues with Christmas, or any other holiday for that matter. But to claim that somehow a "war" has been declared is silly. So what, some clown at JP Morgan doesn't want a Christmas Tree on display in an office. Hell, some people don't like celebrating their own birthday. Basically, that's their problem.
It's nothing more than paranoia to think people are battling you to take your Christmas away. Tyrone, for the last couple of years you've written essay's citing you objections to Kwanzaa celebrations. Have I ever referred to your (and other conservatives) objections as some kind of "war" against the celebration? NO!

Is that all you got allen? It doesn't matter when it happened, the fact of the matter is that it did happen. I've also removed it, because I am going to include another example, and I don't want to make the story too long. I noticed you didn't comment on the JP Morgan Chase story, why is that allen? Could it be because you can't? I look forward to you comments on the story about the YMCA I just posted. Oh and I have several more stories of anti Christmas high jinks from THIS YEAR allen.

I know several conservatives who are atheists and agnostics, and they don't have a problem at all with Christmas, it being displayed or anything else. Conservative atheists and agnostics are comfortable in who they are unlike liberal atheists who feel they must change things, because they feel inferior or uncomfortable.

Allen, I've mastered Alinksky jujitsu a long time ago. I know how it works to a tee. You can't dispute what the facts are, so you want to try and deflect that away and polarize and isolate me as the one being he problems. In other words, try and discredit the messenger when you can't discredit the message. Nice try allen.

I didn't say jack about Kwanza last year allen. If blacks want to celebrate something that was created by a radical Marxist professor 40 years ago, that is on them. Diverse you say? You're right actually, the majority of the people of different races that reside in our country celebrate CHRISTMAS. Christianity is still the dominate religion in this country. The most celebrated and observed "holiday" of this month is CHRISTMAS. Sorry, but there is no denying this fact. Ramadan and Kwanzaa simply don't even register on the radar.
Many people have never celebrated Christmas but do not try to destroy your right to do so.

Same level for whom? Majority rules, however you don't "vote" nor is there a government mandate to celebrate Christmas or any other holiday. It's an individual CHOICE!!

Anyone who knows Alinsky tactics would know that you build an consensus (and organize) based on factual conditions (and at least, spell his name right). The fact is, you think a "war on Christmas" is real, which is a misconception and purely fictional. Christmas might have it's enemies, but that doesn't mean it's engaged in some kind of "war" that has to be won to retain what it means to, and for you.
So what...some nutcase says he doesn't want to celebrate Christmas. Hell, he might not want to celebrate your birthday either...show what!! Some people don't believe that a man set foot on the moon. Is there a war on astronauts? It's only a "war", IF YOU WANT IT TO BE!
People react to certain and particular conditions in different ways. Eighty degrees Fahrenheit might me unbearable for you, yet absolutely comfortable for someone else.
One person celebrates Kwanzaa, the other celebrates Christmas. One doesn't like Christmas Trees, the other doesn't like Kente Cloth. Who's right? Who's wrong? They're both right for celebrating what ever they want. However, they're both wrong if they believe their celebration "should" apply for others, or are somehow is "absolute truth."

You should have read what I said allen. As I stated. Kwanza isn't a holiday. Kwanza has no historic roots. Hell, I can create the holiday celebrating me. That's not a bad idea actually. I have to look into that further.Maybe I will call my holiday "Tyranza". Anyways, Christmas an Hanukkah are legitimate holidays. That is why I say Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah.

The crux of the idea of a "war" on particular religious or non-religious celebrations, is that "some" people believe that their [religious or non-religious] ideals trumps all others.
The fact is that, Christianity is the dominant religion in America. Thus, those who practice Christianity want to keep it the dominant religion in America. What you're being told is that any criticism, variants or changes, is a "war" being perpetrated on your religion and/or holidays. What it really is, is a propagandized tactic concocted in order to keep what they, and possibly you, believe is a threat to that dominance.
However, there's an obstacle to the tactic. That obstacle being The U.S. Constitution. Freedom of religion does not allow religious (or non-religious) ideals to take precedence in American society. You're free to practice whatever religion you want. It just so happens at this point and time that Christianity is the dominant religion.
Thus, as long as the first amendment prohibits the making of any law "respecting an establishment of religion", or impeding the free exercise of religion, any other religion chosen by a majority of the people can become "the dominant" religion in America. When people become "hung-up" on their religion being dominant..... that's when the real "war" starts...!
I've always found Tolerance to be nothing more than a thinly veiled justification for Anti-Christian Bigotry.
Even when I didn't understand the nature of tolerance being demonized for not agreeing with the left told me something foul was afoot.
They still have Christmas in schools although religion was given the boot. I find that unfair. If you can't read the Bible in school then you also shouldn't be able to have that Pagan Christmas tree. Haven't any of you Christian morons who think Christmas is Christian read Jeremiah 10 (or is it 13) about not learning the way of the Pagans and going into the forest to cut down a tree and fashion it with gold and silver and nail it down so it doesn't topple. Yeah, of course, you use that liberal toiletpaper translation called the NIV or some other modern liberal rag translation that changes the cutting down of the tree to chiseling a piece of wood. I used to be a Christian and my family was persecuted for not having a tree so that's why although a Deist now I am a little disappointed at you fake Christian who worship the Christmas tree rather than God. You might as well admit that Christianity is just a spinoff of paganism complete with virgin births of god-men like Hercules (his mother was a virgin too, since she slept with a god and not a man, after all). Christianity is not pagan, but Christendom is. Gnostics started the false version of Christianity after Jesus died and before all of the apostles died.
The Midianites were the ones who chopped down the trees and decorated it and Jews were forbidden from doing it as it was a worshipping of a false god.
