The political vultures circles around the Boston bombing tragedy.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the 170 people who were injured and the families of the 3 who were killed from the Boston Bombings.
It didn't take no longer then an hour after the attacks for Democratic progressives to do what they do oh so well, politicize the carnage. Many of the injuries were so severe, dozens of people had to have been amputated right on the spot. Dozens of people are in critical condition. I don't see how certain people can look at the death and suffering of others and merely think of it as a "political opportunity". People like this have no core nor no class. New York Times Columnist Nicholas Kristof linked the Boston terrorist attack to the Republicans blocking Obama's appointment selection as the director of the ATF.
After Mr Kristoff tweeted his remarkably stupid comment, he received severe blow back on tweeter for his politicization of the Boston tragedy. The progressive parade of self promotion on the blood of the Boston victims continued. I have no idea what pressure cooker bombs have in common with the National Riffle Association, but MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell apparently was able to find an absurd connection in order to place blame. Lawrence actually found a way to blame the "NRA" for his perceived "slow investigation" in the Boston bombings. Again, these nut jobs truly have no ideal how insane they come off sounding to normal thinking folks.
House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer from my state of Maryland also took his shot at shameful exploitation of the Boston terrorist attacks. He believes that the federal government's "sequester" had a role to play. Hoyer said
"the explosions in Boston demonstrates "why having the ability to dress security concerns is important," and thus provides more evidence that sequestration should be turned off.
As Americans are anxiously waiting for an arrest of the person or persons who committed this devastating and heinous attack on American soil, some people are so politically blinded, they are making fools out of themselves by blaming either the NRA, the GOP or Sequester. A Democratic strategist on Fox Business this morning actually said something intelligent. I don't remember the lady's name, but she said that the politicization of the Boston bombings need to stop period, and I agree. My brother and his wife live in Boston. My sister-in-law told me that she would have been standing in the exact spot where the first explosion went off. Because she had other engagements, she was never able to attend the marathon. I'm thankful that she was not there. My thoughts go out to the victims and their families.
Here is a stupid headline in one of my local papers "The Olympian": WAS TERRORISM TO BLAME? What kind of a stupid and insensitive question is that? What's the difference between a bombing and terrorist attack? If someone blows up an area and kills and maims a bunch of people, that's terrorism? How does that differ to the infamous Oklahoma City Bombing? I don't recall authorities call it a terrorist attack. Same thing with the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama; it's a bombing, but did not call it a terrorist attack, when ironically the terrorism is caused by the KKK.

Wow, timing is everything for sure Big Pop. Thankfully, she wasn't able to attend. Glad she is ok. It's so sad how so many people had limbs blown off, and their lives will never be the same. Their way of life has forever been altered over nothing they did. All they wanted to do is watch a race. It truly is gut wrenching sad.

I'm surprised they didn't blame solely the pressure cookers instead of the people or person who made and placed the bombs. I'm sure if it is found out that a white conservative planted the bombs, then the Olympian will claim it was indeed terrorism.

Progressives can bash Fox News all they want, but there is a reason it has been number one for well over a decade. Nobody with an ounce of common sense would link the NRA with the Boston Bombings on any degree. Lawrence is a political hack not a journalist. That has been proven a long time ago. Erik was wrong for making such a statement. I'm sure if it was proven that tea party person did this, someone on the left would be saying that all conservatives and tea party people need to be killed. So down with the fake outage alen. As for blaming Muslims. It was natural and still is a possibility that the attackers were Islamist, based on PAST attacks and ATTEMPTED attacks on American soil aka track record. The reaction by some to the Saudi who was the person of interest was to be expected sine the 19 hijackers on 911 were "Saudis" duh.

Track record?? Here's a list of all the terror bombings on American soil as compiled by the Associated Press.
Out of the 23 terror bombings listed, (including ATTEMPTED) 3 thus far have been perpetrated by radical Islamist. It's only "natural" to believe Muslims are responsible only if you have a preconceived "natural" distrust of Muslims. Moreover, three instances out of twenty three does not a pattern make.
However if the perpetrators turn out to be Muslims you'll be able to bash em' till your hearts content...
There are far worse events going on in the world then this bombing. Call me a cold heartless person but i will disagree wholeheartedly. Let's look at the bigger picture and enough with blowing this event into frantic emotions and an excuse for more Government in our lives.

With concern to casting blame, pundits on both the right and the left have chosen who the "want" to be responsible for the attack. Lawrence O'Donnell blames the NRA (which by the way, he didn't "blame" them for the attack, he said the NRA made it easier for the terror suspects to not be traced via the gunpowder), and Tea Party Nation head Judson Phillips blames president Obama. (which by the way he doesn't actually "blame" the president for the bombing, he just claims that the president is not committed to protecting America).
Pundits from both sides are going to use this tragedy to further and promote their agenda, and primarily to further their "CAREERS."(aka, making MONEY!) That's just the way is...
I love it when I am proven right. One bombing suspect is dead and the other is on the run. The suspect still at large is 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, his 26 year old brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev is dead. Both brothers are of Chechen origin AND both are "MUSLIM EXTREMISTS". I can't believe you made such a non connected comparrison like that Gerald but then again I can believe it. That is all you have to work with. Look up the definition of the word "terrorism". Terrorism defined is "The use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims". The fort hood shooter Nidal Hasan was a Muslim who killed in the name of his religion over the actions the military was taking in Afghanistan. The Colorado shooter didn't have a political or religoius reason for doing what he did. He was simply mimicking a movie character (the joker). He was insane period. Apples and Oranges, try harder.

I say after the trial and he's found guilty, maybe he should be executed the same way he killed and severely injured others, death sentence carried out by pressure cooker bomb. Since this is a federal incident, I wouldn't be shocked on bit if evil Eric Holder goes for life in prison instead. It's nice to know that the uncle has some common sense Big Pop. I heard the mother and the uncle drone on trying to put present those two demon seeds in the best possible light. The mother said that are sons were angels, more like devils. Satan was once an angel as well. I would like to know what is their immigration status is now that I think about it. Is the whole family here on visas? The proper response from the family should be that they are horrified at the actions of the two brothers.

As for myself, I chose not to make any assumptions because acts of terror committed by foreign perpetrators on American soil are rare. LOL... Look good? Why would you think you're "looking good?" Because you guessed "Muslims" did it? I can show you hundreds of conservative sites, and a hundred more that are not, that jumped to the exact same conclusion as you. The only people that "looked good" to me, are the law enforcement folks who apprehended the culprits. At no time did they claim they were looking for "Muslims." As a matter of fact, when the law officials released their wanted suspect announcement, they stated "two male Caucasians."
