Obama attracts the kookiest people in America and now Great Britain too.
It's bad enough that Hollywood and music celebrities have taken time to pull their noses away from their cocaine trays to go after John McCain and Sarah Palin, but this has gone to far. Now B grade celebrities from other countries have joined in on the attacks. I never heard of Russell Brand until yesterday, gee I wonder why? Apparently this "bloke is a comedian from Great Britain, and he was asked for some insane reason to host the MTV Video Music Awards. I'm disappointed in MTV seriously. They could have at least asked K Fed or someone else more well known then Brand. Anyways, duirng the show yesterday this British guy pleaded for Americans to vote for Barack Obama. Since Great Britain is falling apart around it's citizens, their government has thousands of cameras monitoring them like prisoners and Muslims are taking over their country like rats, I guess Brand wants Americans to elect a naive fool so that our country can emulate failure like Great Britain? Thanks but no thanks. Amazing that a cross between a strung out Johnny Deep and Carrot Top would think he can make jokes about Sarah Palin, her daughter and her boy friend. What I found hilarious was when he called Bush a "retard". This coming from a guy that looks like he escaped from a psych ward and sleeps in the gutter? I know it isn't going so hot in the latest polls for Obama, but has it gotten so bad that he now needs B grade celebs from other countries to beg on his behalf for votes? My how the might have fallen in such a short period of time. For what it's worth, this is what the euro trash crackhead thinks about our politics at the MTV Video Music Awards.

I heard the audio of this earlier today. Talk about desperation. I'm not all that into how people look but his eyes do look like some people that I knew that used to do drugs. This is NOT the type of PR I would want as a serious presidential candidate.
I have yet to hear a down to hear a normal person that is educated on the issues say he or she is supporting Obama pamela. There is two camps for Obama supports. The first camp is for the kooks, the loons and the insane. The other camp is for the politically uneducated, naive people, and people that are voting for Obama based on race. Those are the two camps pamela.
I totally agree. The few that I'm around I keep quiet about Obama unless I'm asked about my views. When that happens I ask them to tell me what positions Obama has that they agree with. I have yet to get an answer. One of my friends I asked several times for him to explain his health care plan. Again I never got an answer. I think the debates will tell the true story.
Gee I had a feeling this guy looked like drug addict who escaped Rehab!
Barrack Obama to me only has the white vote due to white guilt!
That is pretty pathetic if you ask me.
chilerkle says;"Barrack Obama to me only has the white vote due to white guilt!
That is pretty pathetic if you ask me."
So (to you), "white people" really don't like Obama, they're just voting for him because they feel guilty?
I totally disagree. I believe that the white people who are voting for Obama are doing so because he represents their interests. It's called a constituency...
With that being said, if your statement is indeed true, there has to be an "equally and opposite" train of thought. Those whites who don't feel your implied "guilt", will not vote for Obama because he's black.
That's not to say that the whites that refuse to vote for Obama because he is black are racist. Hell, almost every white in the Republican party are not voting for Obama because he is black...does that make them "racists"...Noooooooo! It's because they don't feel any guilt. (according to your analogy, of course)
I must admit I have found it quite interesting how the media tries to determine why whites are voting for Obama. I live in OK. I have yet to meet a single white person that feels any guilt whatsoever about slavery or the Tulsa Race Riot that occurred in 1921. The white people that currently say they are voting for Obama are doing so for the same reasons that the blacks I know that are going to vote for him. All of them hate the policies of Bush and are basically voting against them. Not a single one of the ones I have asked what policies they champion of his gives me an answer other than ending the war. None of them can explain details about a single policy. Maybe some reading this blog can. I have heard him detail things about growing the economy with green jobs, his plans to revamp health care and his support to add LGBT folk to laws relating to hate crimes, employment and I believe his view of the faith-based initiative (will need to check this one). When I ask my friends about these three (since I have heard him speak on these) I never get details about them. NEVER. It does not matter the race of people. Maybe there are some whites that feel that guilt but I have not heard it from a single white person that says they are going to vote for him. Mind you I have only followed this from time to time because of family issues I have dealt with the past two years.
chilerkle"ee I had a feeling this guy looked like drug addict who escaped Rehab!Barrack Obama to me only has the white vote due to white guilt! That is pretty pathetic if you ask me."
Among the dope heads of the liberal MTV crowd, he is actually considered normall chilerkle. Whatever normal is to them. I have to change what I said earlier. I know think he looks like a cross between PAULY SHORE and Johnny Depp on crack. I think you may be right chilerkle about whites voting for Obama out of guilt I guess by them voting for Obama it somehow in bizarro world thinking cleanses them of their ancestor's sins. This is what whites that suffer from "white guilt" don't get or isn't comprehending. Obama isn't an American for African. He is an American for 1st generation Kenyan descent. Obama's ancestors weren't enslaved. They should feel guilty for even considering voting for Obama in the first place chilerkle. Now there are some whites that will vote for Obama because he is as hardcore left as they are.
P Allen"So (to you), "white people" really don't like Obama, they're just voting for him because they feel guilty? "
There are some whites that will vote for Obama, because they like his position even though they have the foggiest idea where he stands for on a position. Are you denying allen that there are whites that will vote for him out of ancestory guilt?
p allen"I totally disagree. I believe that the white people who are voting for Obama are doing so because he represents their interests. It's called a constituency..."
That's funny allen, thanks for the laugh. A local talkshow host guy does a segment on his show called "curb your intelligence", basically an intern for the show goes around town and ask random people some political questions to see how knowledgeable they are. For the last few weeks the segment has been asking young people in downtown Baltimore, and the ones that have been asked the questions were primarily white. So the talkshow host back in the studio talks to the people on a telephone and he asks the people on the street questions about Obama and his policys. Every white person interviewed to date said they are voting for Obama YET they have not been able to answer the question of what are his positions. So you want to use the word "constituency", how about "piped pipper syndrome" allen.
P Allen"With that being said, if your statement is indeed true, there has to be an "equally and opposite" train of thought. Those whites who don't feel your implied "guilt", will not vote for Obama because he's black."
Allen quick question. When blacks say that if a white person doesn't vote for Obama, that person is a racist. Do you think statements like that is a form "guilt persuasion" tactics?
P Allen"Hell, almost every white in the Republican party are not voting for Obama because he is black...does that make them "racists"...Noooooooo! "
You make that statement based on what face allen. In your response please have a proof or state it as your opinion.
That guy is offensive to Muslims.
CB asks;"Are you denying allen that there are whites that will vote for him out of ancestory guilt?
To a degree, I am. Voting is very personal, and for the most part private. A person can say one thing when asked by a pollster or an interviewer, and do another when pulling the lever behind the voting booth curtain.
I will concede that some white's "say" they will vote for a black candidate, perhaps to "appease" blacks. This could be construed as guilt, but who's to say why they say it, how they really feel, or who they will actually cast their vote for....
Ask JMK! He admits he lies to pollsters. He also takes pride in voting in elections primaries to skew the outcomes. He's white. Ask him why he lies and if he feel's "guilty" when he does it. Hell, it's highly likely he lies about everything he says on this blog....
CB;"Allen quick question. When blacks say that if a white person doesn't vote for Obama, that person is a racist. Do you think statements like that is a form "guilt persuasion" tactics?"
NO! Any black person that "says" a white person is a racist simply because he or she doesn't vote for Obama, doesn't have the slightest idea what guilt persuasion is. Telling a white person, "you noting voting for a candidate because he or she is black" in order to invoke "guilt", is stupid, in my opinion.
If I told you, "you're not voting for me because I'm old", and that makes you feel guilty about "my old age", and the you go a cast a vote for me. It wasn't me who convinced you...It was your vote, you did it!
As I said, voting is private and personal. No one ever has to know the how you voted, unless you tell them! Moreover, how much "guilt" can a person have, or show, if they already have lied about who they would vote for in the first place??? Seem's to me that a "sane" person would have more guilt about telling a "lie", any lie, moreso than casting a vote. This whole idea of "white guilt" is really kind of silly, don't you think?
cb;"You make that statement based on what face allen. In your response please have a proof or state it as your opinion."
Which part of the statement? The idea that, "almost every white Republican won't vote for a black candidate", or, "Republicans are not racist"?
Although I might not know [for sure] that Republicans won't vote for Obama because he's black, I will say that most [modern day]white Republicans have "never" voted for a black presidential candidate.
There's the "perennial candidate" Alan Keyes in 1996, 2000, and 2008, (but who's counting...) that has always come in last place in every presidential primary he's entered. Seeing that over 90% of the republican voting block is white, it's it obvious that "most white" Republicans have not, did not, and to this day will not, vote for a black presidential candidate?
So let me ask you, "how many white Republicans say they will vote for Obama?" Give me a number or post a link....
