Jeremiah Wright made up his religion as did Jim Jones, the Kool-Aid preacher. Obama has made references to the Bible as being radical and never said it was good for all men. He has never said the same about a book called the Quran which said black women are stupid and black Jews and Christians are apes and pigs. Quran also said kill all non-Muslims, something the Bible never said. He never has said one thing about the message of the Quran which said over 33,000 times kill all who refuse to serve Allah.
In fact Quran 8:12 said cut off the heads.
As you know, I am no big fan of Obama. And I have strong doubts if any Christianity exists in the church he used to go to for 20 years.
Having said all that, we are all sinners. Even as Christians, there is a carnal side to us, and we still from time to time commit grievous acts of sins against others, either in word, thought, or deed.
David was considered by God in His word as the man who seek after God's own heart, yet he committed adultery and murder. Solomon was a man of wisdom, according to the Bible, gracing us with Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon, yet he fell into idolatry and polygamy near end of his life. The apostle Peter denied Christ three times. The prophet Isaiah confessed to God that he was a man of unclean lip, and he lived among a people of unclean lips.
So I can't judge Obama based on this one action.
Christians do sin, and at times they say things to others they regret, too.
And church history is filled with those we see as great folks of the faith that fell into sin. Luther fell into antisemitism near end of his life (I say this with shame as a Lutheran). The first great awakening evangelist Jonathan Edwards owned slaves himself.
There is a reason why the Bible says we have been saved by grace through faith, not of works, lest any man may boast. We didn't do anything to merit salvation- Christ did that for us at the cross. Our faith receives the forgiveness of all our sins God offered, which we did nothing to earn from God.
Christ died for Obama, too. Even for that sin we speak of now.
If he becomes President, we need to as Christians respect the office and pray for him, in hope that God will show him the truth and show what God desires of a man of God in that position of authority in this grear country.
Until then, let's do everything we can (in godly fashion) from today to tomorrow to make sure he does not win the election!

Yet Wright is buddy buddy with Farakhan. Trinity United is affiliated under the "Church of Christ". It is an extremely liberal denomination.With so many things not known about Obama, who's too say that Obama truly is still a Muslim, and only joined Trinity as a front to advance his political ambitions?

Most ministers, if you can call them that, said that they took a vow to preach love, tolerance and acceptance. But the ones I've seen preach the opposite.
In 1995, a few days after the Oklahoma City bombings, I came to my Church to pay tribute to the victims of the bombing.
The sermon was going well until the pastor started comparing the bombings to the homosexual lifestyle.
Now, I know according what is said in the Bible, that homosexuality is a sin, and I heard it all. But I have friends and relatives, namely my sister who are gay and they are wonderful people. They never flaunt it by the way.
I never paid any attention to what the Bible said nor do I care, because I was told to judge a person by the content of their character, not what they are.
If people feel that homosexuality is a sin, that's fine, but I feel that they should keep their comments and their beliefs to themselves.
I did not like how this pastor was using the events of the OKC bombing just so he can condemn my friends and my sister.
Well, after the sermon, I told him that I was never going to come to his Church again.
Oprah was smart to immediately leave Wright's Church when she saw what kind of a man he is.

At this moment I can't express how vindicated I feel for this great country that we live in. At this moment and here forward, "I AM TRULY PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN"!
We have truly moved forward in this country and I know that President Obama will be able to serve and protect our democracy.
