Obama's "one president at at time" defense in not commenting on the Hamas Israel conflict.

The position of Obama's sounds all well and good except of for small contradiction. Back in early August of last year, Russia invaded Georgia's breakaway province of South Ossetia. George Bush was still president at that time. So that would have meant that Barack Obama should have remained silent on this issue right?

It didn't stop him then when it came to the Russia-Georgia conflict, so why now he has no response when it comes to the Israel-Hamas conflict?

Bro I have to disagree with you on this one.

Place "Obama's SILENCE" against that idiot Jimmy Carter's (and Al Gore for that matter) over the top tirades against George W. Bush over the past 8 years.

Let's be fair dude. Rather than hitting upon them both coming and going - I would much prefer to have the "One President at a time" concept in place.

Heaven ALREADY knows there is a warm, steaming pile of dog squeeze waiting for Obama when he does take the chair.

There is not enough cheerleading and media manipulation that is going to allow the biased press and Black community from spinning this situation. They are going to try for the first 18 months but the depths of our problems will be front and center.

These international issues are going to prove that what seemed as if the USA could script as we all heard on the campaign trail does not translate quite as easily in the real world.

Give Obama some time of silence. While I am not hoping for him to fail - the lack of vetting is going to be apparent in due time.

Andy Young will be proven right that he needed more time in DC before stepping into the battle called "The Oval Office". (Of course Young said this as a Hillary supporter at the time and still voted for the Democrat in the general election)

Right on, and On Point Constructive Feedback!

Secondly, we're talking about the comments of the "President-Elect", not the comments of a "presidential candidate". Candidates can say almost anything, but who cares what they say if they're not elected or have the power to act on their statements...

If Obama is on the same page as Bush when it comes to the support of Israel constructive, then why should it be hard for Obama to echo that UNLESS he's not.

I agree. The media can't spin dismal economic data. They are going to try though. Obama and the media can only use Bush for a short period of time to cover up for their own inaction or inability to fix the problems economically or internationally. You right, at some point people are going to start to want some results from Obama. They are going to be very disappointed within 18 to 24 months.

When Obama speaks behind the symbol of "the office of the president elet", isn't he speaking from an official capacity allen?

I know that is going to happen. Platitudes translate poorly into policies. Those that believe the world is going to "love us" again just because of Obama are snorting to much lead based paint. They'll figure it ou in due time.

He doesn't want to offend muslim or jewish voters and like a true liberal he doesn't take a strong stand lest he offend anyone! Didn't he declare himself president before he's even sworn in and now that people are expecting him to act as president he cowers in a fetal position lest the world not look upon him favorably.

As far as I'm concerned he's more a celebrity than a world leader.
