Was Sarah Palin crazy OR crazy like a fox for bringing up the issue of "death panels"?

It looks like she was right after all. Maybe the liberal kooks who foam at the mouth at the mere mention of Sarah Palin should pay closer attention to whats going on around them then challenge what she says. When Sarah made her now infamous remarks about how the federal government would be creating "death panels" as apart of a government run health care bill, she was dismissed as being stupid and an idiot. They also claimed that death panels don't exist in our country. I wonder how many Sarah Palin haters live in the state of Oregon? It doesn't take a genius to figure out that a government run health care system main goal would be to ration care as the primary way of controlling costs. With that said, only a clueless person would think people would still get the same level of care under a government system as they do now under a private free market system. To those who doubted what Palin said about death panel, they might want to owe her an apology after watching what goes on in the state of Oregon under it's state health care system.

It's been the left's tried and true M.O. to trash Sarah Palin (or any popular conservative) for almost any reason. I find it interesting that she's no longer a public official but Obama, his administration and the left wing (fringe) media feel the need to respond to remarks made by Sarah Palin on an almost case-by-case basis.

You only need to go to Mass. or Ore. to see the break down and disconnect of a government run health insurance system. They have more than their fair share of horror stories. However, the stories from Great Britain and Canada are enough to make reasonable people scared of a government run system.

We already have death panels. They're called insurance claims adjusters.

Sorry sir...we don't believe your cancer treatments are medically necessary.

Liberals feel that just firing unlimited rounds of blanks at Palin will some how hit her. These people are beyond fringe. It suffer from Palin Obsession Disorder Syndrome. They some belive that just personal attacks against her will be enough to stop her future plans. They aren't wrapped tight. The kooks were never going to vote for Palin, and Palin doesn't have to appeal to them if she does run in 2012. In 2012, it comes down to Obama's record not about Sarah Palin. The left is too blinded by their insane loathing of Palin to comprehend that. By Obama being forced to address Palin's death panel comment, it shows that she has gotten under the lefts skin. The national media could easily do stories on the disaster of government run health care in other countries, they chose not to do so in order to protect their beloved Obama. All they can do along with the other fruit loop leftists is call anyone who they can't debate on the issue a liar. Their smear and deflect tactics can only work for so long.

There is a big difference between "challenging" what Palin said, and personally attacking her for saying it. The fact of the matter is that Palin is right about the death panels. The left thought just because it didn't say the words "death panels" in the bill, that some how discredited Palin's claim. The simple reality of what she said should have been obvious for anyone to see. In order to ration care to keep cost in line, people who need expense life saving surgery will be denied, and it would the "government making that decision" through its "death panels

God of Bacon " We already have death panels. They're called insurance claims adjusters.Sorry sir...we don't believe your cancer treatments are medically necessary."

Here's the difference Bacon, Every insurance company has it's own underwriting criteria for coverage. What one insurance company won't cover another one will. That is the beauty of competition. Once the government becomes the "only game in town". Then there truly is no choice and the death panel's decision becomes final.
In that video, that lady was able to get that life saving medicine thanks to the kindness of company that made the drug right Bacon? Under government run healthcare, drug companies won't be in business to make life saving cancer drugs, because the government would consider it "too costly" for the patient.

GREAT and very accurate rebutals to both.

You say, "...the left may want to owe her (Palin) an apology."

Well, they DO owe her an apology (she was right and they were wrong), but they certainly don't WANT to.

They owe Rep Wilson an apology too (he was also right and hey wee wrong) and when Blue Dog Democrats joind with Republicans to put language in the Buacus Bill that would exclude illegals, the liberal Dems sought to block it.

Thanks jmk. Doesn't it seem that reality really doesn't matter to the fringe kooks that can't stand Palin jmk. To this day, they still want to believe that Sarah Palin said what Tina Fey actually said in "seeing Russia from her house". Everything they say about Palin never has a solid foundation of truth to support it. It is all just based on the emotion of hate. The health care bill never had to mention the words Death Panels for anyone to realize that Death Panels would be naturally created under a rationing government plan. This is how mental liberals are. If Palin would have said that in the bill 2+2 would equal 4, liberals would say they see 2+2 but it didn't mention anything about equaling 4!lol

jmk "They owe Rep Wilson an apology too (he was also right and hey wee wrong) and when Blue Dog Democrats joind with Republicans to put language in the Buacus Bill that would exclude illegals, the liberal Dems sought to block it."

The day they apologize to Joe Wilson is the day liberals will openly criticize Obama. It's not going to happen jmk. We both know that. Between Wilson and Palin, it does show that liberals really can't debate on the facts of the health care issue.

Sarah Palin understands death panels very well, having presided over her own death panels in Alaska. Over 200 senior died on her watch. Although to be fair, that was just typical mismanagement on Palin's part, as opposed to intent.

This shoudl be fun. Sarah presided over her own death panels? I'm pretty good at understanding how government works.I'm pretty sure that Palin couldn't have created a bill establishing death panels in Alaska, because she was the governor and not a legislator. If you can provide proof that Sarah supported the use of death panels, then you might actually have a valid claim, other then that it's just typical Palin Derangement at work.

The Left is definitely sick and unprincipled! That is why I laugh at leftists when they condemn corruption. Leftists have no moral compass at all!

What Anonymous forgot to mention that these deaths were over a period of 2 1/2 years (not that it lessons a person's death but for the example; Anonymous was using the number in an attempt to make Sarah Palin look like she was responsible). Also left out was the fact that the system that was responsible for the deaths had been implemented before Palin was elected Governor.

It's solely liberals who are defending the child rapist Roman Polanski. Liberals expressed their fake outrage when Mark Foley sent two congressional pages inappropriate emails. They had a fit, they called the Republican Party, the party of pedophiles, now look who those same liberals are defending almondtea? They are defending a person who ACTUALLY RAPED a little girl. These people have no core what so ever. They will defend a cold blooded murderer all day long and say somehow that the victim was in the wrong and deserved it.

Liberals rarely use facts Frank. I guess they just believe that everybody is suppose to take what they say at face value and not research what they say. If you want to get a laugh at the ignorance level of liberals, ask them "who was the person who said I can see Russia from my house". We both know it was Tina Fey who made that comment on SNL. Liberals actually believe it was Sarah Palin who made that comment.
