Barack Obama would never use the military for a "photo op" right?

Even Obama couldn't be that shallow. Even if he was that shallow, he would never be stupid enough to openly admit it.

My mistake, he is that shallow and stupid.

Imagine that, the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces addressing the armed forces.

How dare he!

You're such a twerp, Tyrone. If the President went out there and walked on water, you'd be "blogging" about how terrible it was that he didn't swim ...

How dare he indeed.

Twerp, what person in 2012 uses the word "twerp"? Are you stuck in a 1950's time warp or something? At least try to bring your insult attempts into the modern era. Get with the program.

If you are trying to be the cavilary allen, you must as well turn around and retreat. The infamous Mission Accomplished banner was the idea of the Navy not the White House.

Yet you still try and challenge me allen lol

CB;"Yet you still try and challenge me allen lol".

When don't read the article's that "YOU" yourself link to, you make it that much easier for the "CAVALRY" to wipe you out!

"Navy and administration sources said that though the banner was the Navy's idea, the White House actually made it".
-6th paragraph-

By and large, the Navy conspired with the Bush White house for the photo op. That in itself is admission that the entire event was staged!

So don't get all "wiped-out" for being "challenged." It was your "idea" to post the link, so actually it's you that "made" me read it!

It doesn't matter. The White House didn't originate the idea. Bush wasn't even in on it. Funny how you liberals never made one negative comment towards the Navy for ORIGINALLY coming up with the banner idea and then working with the White House staff to make it happen. Be for real allen.

Actually, I was going to call you a Dipshit, but I figured I'd be polite. Particularly when conversing with someone whose political ideology is stuck in the '50s.

Dipshit it is.

CB;"The White House didn't originate the idea. Bush wasn't even in on it".

"White House spokesman Scott McClellan told CNN that in preparing for the speech, Navy officials on the carrier told Bush aides they wanted a "Mission Accomplished" banner, and the White House agreed to create it".

So Bush's own aides were told by the Navy that they wanted to put up the banner. In preparation for the speech, Bush's own aides agreed to make the banner.

So you're claiming Bush was not told all this pre-planned, pre-staged hoop-la of total embarrassment was about to take place??? Hell, Bush is a hell of a lot more "stupid" than I first thought!

Allow me to save you Tyrone before you put the other foot in your mouth.

The fact is "all presidents" (as politicians do)use sporting events, political and non-political social gatherings, commencements, schools, etc... and yes even the military for photo ops. It very well may be "shallow" to do so, but they all do it.

What's even more "shallow", and petty to say the least, is ignoring the fact that it's been done before, and will continue.

But it's okay and fine to single President Obama out, because I understand that you'll spite him in any way you can muster. But the least you can do is be honest with "YOURSELF" and not pretend that it hasn't happened before.

Hell, according to you, Bush's aides had "free-reign" to set up photo ops for him, and Bush wouldn't even know...even if they were embarrassing! At least President Obama knew where he was and what he was doing...

Is that a fact? Lets compare Bush with Obama. Bush wore the uniform. Obama didn't. Bush has respect for the military, Obama doesn't. Answer this question if you are capable. In the eight years that Bush was president, did he ever speed off the meet flag draped coffins in the middle of the night with media in tow?

P Allen quoting CNN "Navy officials on the carrier told Bush aides they wanted a "Mission Accomplished" banner, and the White House agreed to create it".

Actually read it allen don't just gloss over it. It's right there in print. The NAVY WANTED A "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED BANNER" NOT THE WHITE HOUSE. Read that very slowly then repeat several times until for comprehension is achieved allen. It was the NAVY'S idea.

p allen "So you're claiming Bush was not told all this pre-planned, pre-staged hoop-la of total embarrassment was about to take place??? Hell, Bush is a hell of a lot more "stupid" than I first thought!"

He might have been told and he might not have been. The fact is that the white house nor Bush CAME UP WITH THE IDEA of using the MISSION ACCOMPLISHED banner. Unless you can change history allen, this case is closed.

anon" Actually, I was going to call you a Dipshit, but I figured I'd be polite. Particularly when conversing with someone whose political ideology is stuck in the '50s. Dipshit it is."

lol, I see you are still insult challenged anon. I thought twerp was old and lame, but dipshit is just as bad if not worse.lol

Lets see, I have "50" ideology, even though I was born in the 70's. So you call people who don't share your monolithic ideology "dipshits and twerps". I just want to make sure I got this right. I have some breaking news for you that you won't like. More people in our country consider themselves conservative over liberal by a 2 to 1 margin. So I guess you can say that most of America share my "50's" ideology so to speak. I thought on page 134 of the liberal handbook, liberals are suppose to pretend to embrace "diversity" of viewpoints? Anyways, go to the urban dictionary and pick up some cool insult words. Stop being "square" dude. ;-)

The military made it possible for Obama to be the President. At least say thanks. If we didnt have the military we would all be speaking German of Japanese.

Hitler made a deal with the Japanese, the Muslims to divide up the world. Hitler would take the WEST, Muslims Africa and Middle EAST and Japan all the Asians. Hitler and the Muslims lost and now here comes the Islamomarxist, again.

After many years in the service I told my son to come home because I had received word that Obama was an Islamomarxist, which means he will support the Islamomarxist as he said in his book, Audacity of Hope, written by Bill Ayers. I told him we will need him at home to protect us right here with Obama.
We are the laughing stock of the world as the people over the world is making fun of America for being so dumb to elect a Marxist-Muslim. Our government if now called the M&M goverment Marxist and Muslim. All those yeaRS OUR GUYS DIED FIGHTING THESE EVIL VERMINE AND NOW THEY ARE IN THE WHITE HOUSE. The result of dumbing down America since 1900.

I don't understand why conservatives are making excuses for President Bush, he was an awful guy and terrible at his job no matter what your political standing is you should be able to admit that. Time to get off your high horse and admit you made a mistake in backint that awful man. And you're about to make the same mistake a second time by backing Palin. ughh

This case is closed???? What are trying to do, get the "last word" in on me???

I have an idea! I'm going to grow medical marijuana for profit. Just let me grow in "YOUR" yard. And if the cops find it, just tell them it "wasn't your idea"!!!

How about the accusations against ACORN?? Are you willing to give them a pass on getting loans to finance underage prostitution? After all, the video "PROVES" it wasn't ACORN's idea!

Walk in on a bank robbery and help the robbers bag-up the cash. No need to worry about being arrested...robbing the bank wasn't your idea!

Let "ME" post a picture of President Obama on your site (replacing your picture) with a caption the reads;"The Best President in American History!" Very easy to explain...right? Just tell em' it wasn't your idea!

Now, the case is closed!!
