I'm glad she's finally setting the record straight and exposed how phony and two faced the media is. I get asked all the time by the Obama drones, why do I like Sarah Palin so much. 22 year old Oscar Grant III of Oakland, CA was shot and killed New Years Day by a BART Transit Police Officer. Grant was handcuffed and lying face down on a transit platform when the officer shot him in the back.
It has been reported that Grant had a fairly lengthy crimal record and was possibly involved in a "fight" or some other kind of "malee" before he was approached and arrested by transit officers. Story Here.

I'm going to hijack your thread for a second allen. Here in Baltimore, we already have 12 murders this year. Since 2000 allen, little over 1,800 blacks were killed on the streets of Baltimore. From 1990 to 1999 over 3,760 blacks were killed. So in the 18 going into the 19th year here in baltimore the total so far of blacks killed "mostly men " is 5,572 and counting. Do you want to notice what is missing allen? There is no outrage, and there is no rioting over the murders. Do you want to know why allen, I'll tell you why. All of these murders and counting have been "BLACK ON BLACK" HOMICIDES. Now returning to the story in Oakland. If it is proven out that the Oakland BART police officer did shoot a handcuffed and unarmed man, then of course he should be sentenced accordingly. There is no excuse for that. On the flip side, is it fair for all of the Oakland BART Police to be blamed or labeled because of the actions of one officer allen? This is what I'm not understanding allen. When blacks kill other blacks. nothing happens. If a police white police officer kills a black person, blacks then want to riot. Please explain this allen. It seems that a murdered black person only has "value" when the trigger is pulled by a "white" police officer. I seriously doubt that it is "protocol" for Oakland police officers to shoot people mainly black execution style in front of people allen. Correct me if I'm wrong, Isn't the population of Oakland mostly black?

We agree that nobody seems to care about black-on-black and black-on-white crime. But they go crazy over white-on-black. My theory is the post-Martin Luther King Jr era. The day after MLK was assassinated, race riots (black-on-black and on-white) in a 100 cities achieved results where the peace movement had stalled. But violence is a tool of segregation. Noblody wants to hang out with someone violent toward you.
MLK insisted on non-violence becasue he wanted integration. But the culture of violence informs the black community today even as we revere MLK. Until the violence stops, my only solution is more segregation. For blacks and whites-- stay away from black neighborhoods / sections of towns. Of course stay away rom public housing which is itself a felony, a perpetual crime scene.
Here's my story on how badly Palin was treated.

How can you possibly compare Black criminals who kill other Blacks, with SWORN TO UPHOLD THE LAW, TAX DOLLAR PAID OFFICERS OF THE LAW??? Laws are enacted to protect the citizens. The police are conduit's of that law. Their duty is to protect us from, or prevent the citizens from being murdered, not "murder" the citizens...

Because of your assertions and comparison, I would have to say YES! You've pointed to a "Black community" that shows no outrage because of "Black-on-Black" crime. So if you really believe what "YOU" wrote, then you should say that it is "fair" to label and blame the entire Oakland BART Police for the actions of one officer!!!
Frankly, I don't see any comparison between cops who kill innocent citizens, and criminals who kill. But since you would like to draw a comparison, (and all things being equal in a comparison), the entire "Police Community" should be blamed. And, why isn't there an "out-cry" from law enforcement officials???
Is it okay for police to kill unarmed citizens because the citizens kill each other? You want them to serve and protect, but yet join in the madness when an officer deems it necessary?

Because the police, and the law, are suppose to be on the side of the innocent, or the victim. They are "PAID" by our tax dollars to "protect and serve".

And BTW, it doesn't matter if the cop was white, black, brown or blue. Cops should not kill unarmed non-threating citizens!

Welcome blair and thanks for posting. Your right. When I bring this point up, I normally get attacked, because they don't have a counter argument to rebuke it. 234 blacks were killed in Baltimore last year. A life is a life. There were no protest rallies to "stop the killings". Nobody spoke out or nothing. If one of black victims was shot by a white person especially a cop, then all of a sudden that one black victim will have been the most important person in Baltimore that was killed.

It's so sad that what Dr. King's dream has been hijacked, twisted, manipulated and spit back out as something he would have never supported in my opinion. If King was alive today, I wonder how would he feel about blacks in Illinois wanting to make Obama's old senate seat "BLACK ONLY". Blacks and whites fought and died to bring people together yet there are people in our country that say they are for racial unity as a country, but their actions speak much louder then words ever could.

It looks like Baltimore and Sheila "the shoe" Dixon have made national news conservative black man lol. I was going to say something about what is going on here later. I'll bring everybody up to speed this week. I couldn't stand Sheila Dixon when she was the City Council President. Many people here knew that the indictments were coming down. Indirectly through her lawyer she is already trying to use the "race card". When I checked out the Drudge Report Friday and saw that Matt Drudge had a link to the story, I knew it went national. Calm down allen, Just remember Obama "hope and change" now wave a flag lol It'll be alright lol Police officers are human beings just like everybody else. You have the good and the bad in every profession. Are there bad cops in this country and around the world? Of course there are. I'm not excusing what this cop did to the guy he shot in cold blood. You say the video I posted allen of a black man that was shot in a carry out store here in Baltimore. If a white police officer would have shot that guy instead, there would have been a city and probably a national outrage. Since it was two blacks that robbed and shot him, nobody cared about this black man who is a husband and father. Thank goodness he survived being shot by those two pieces of human filth.

Quck question allen. Do you think the people in Oakland and yourself would be "outraged" if the Oakland Police officer was black and shot and killed a handcuffed "white" suspect? How about if the Oakland Police officer was white and shot and killed a handcuffed white suspect? I definitely don't believe the outrage would be their in both scenarios allen.

You say that allen, I can only take you at your word on that one. As for for cops shouldn't do, people do a lot of things they shouldn't do. They do it anyways. It's called being human allen, and nobody is perfect. One of the Ten Commandments is "thou shall not kill", and people have been killing befoe that commandment was written in stone up until this day.

New Flash allen, this may come as a shock to you. I know how much you think government is the answer to all the ills of the world and such. In the real world however, GOVERNMENT AND LAWS CANT CONTROL A PERSON'S MIND, FEELINGS OR REACTIONS. The reason people are convicted of murder in the courts is because they BROKE THE LAW of it being against the law to kill allen. There are people that follow the law, and those are people that break the law. There are cops that everyday break the law, they wear a badge but they are just like everybody else.

No one within the black community looks upon senseless violence as "expendable" act. Hell, even the worst person in the black community is mourned (to an extent) if they were struck down in senseless violence.

Do the police in Oakland patrol the streets with the idea that, "these people kill each other all the time, they view each other as "expendable", so it should be no big deal if I kill a few"??? If they think that way, then YES, you can blame the entire department!
Yes, the police and other government agencies and officials are only human. And yes, there are many that have betrayed the public trust. But as sworn officials who are empowered by the public trust, they must be held to a higher standard than your average criminal on the street. That is why there is no comparison between cops who commit murder as a function of their duties, and a criminal that takes a life during the commission of a crime.
Palin is not a fool too bad I can't say the same about Obama supporters though. Most people who voted for Obama don't know who he is. Even some religious black folks foolishly voted for a man who's positions on life and marriage are in line with Anti Christ!
I wonder what about Black women who are battered by their black husbands. I don't believe the crime would be any less heinous if these women's husbands were white. I heard a lot of blacks are more likely to be killed by fellow blacks than whites.
