Skin color can't address our country's problems or the world's problems as President.
Just my random thoughts on why Obama's skin color doesn't make for him to be or become a great President by default. When it is all said and done, it will come down to solutions. When the "historic" tag line of Obama's skin color is taken out of the equation, what is actually left to warrant Obama's praise that he is going to be a great president?

Skin color is just that skin color.
The word Hu means color and man means man. Colored man = Human.
We have Caucasians from light pink to dark brown
We have Mongolians from light skin to dark skin
We have Negroids from light pink to blu-black
We have all races who kill, enslave and are down right evil.
We have good, bad, and ugly in all races. In America we see black or white. Those in-between are making fools of both.
bLACK jEWS ARE FIGHTING BACK AND DEFENDING Israel. I guess the Arabs forgot about the Black Jews
in America. The Black Jews know how Muhammad made the enslaved Jews write the Quran for him. This is the reason the Quran sound like the Talmud which the rabbis said was not from God, but two old rabbis arguing. The color line was drawn when Allah aka Muhammad made fun of Africans and said Allah created Blacks for hellfire but whites for Paradise. Now why would any sane Black man become a Muslim? STUPID AS ALLAH SAID TABARI 1:280!

Great Presidents are made by their deeds as a president and leader. For many years that decision had been left up to history and the "actual" accomplishments and legacies left by the individual leader. Being that Obama has of yet to be sworn in as the POTUS, all you can do is "hope" that will not be a great president...
Frankly, Obama's skin color is no longer an issue with most Americans except for those who don't like the idea of a Black man as president, and those who are still upset because their candidate lost.
There's nothing that Obama has done himself to make this event "historic".
The event "itself" is historic because, every presidential election held from George Washington up until Abraham Lincoln, the "skin color" of Blacks (for reasons you should well know) were not allowed to enter the arena. And for next 100 years, from Lincoln until Shirley Chisholm, no major American political party had ever came close to having the "skin color" of a Black American as a presidential candidate.
Obama has been elected by the American people and will become this nations 44th president. Your "random thoughts" about his skin color and the "historic tag-line" are not distracting anyone else from the important issues, except you! Here's how most Americans see it;
1. Barak Obama won the election
2. He will be the 44th president
3. He is Black
4. The event is historic
In that order. Case closed! You may have a problem with one, or all of those points. If you do, get over it...
Following the Nixon years, and due to his shame and involvement in Watergate, we are now left with opinions and dreamed-up ideas of greatness by partisan hacks and geo-political ideological followers (aka, "butt-kissers"). Unfortunately this happens in all political parties.

Actually it doesn't matter what I think allen. Do you thnk liberals wanted a conservative president in Reagan to do better then Carter? They sure weren't rooting for Bush for eight years allen. The point I was making is obvious. Obama has been treated like he is already great based primarily on the color of his skin and has yet to do anything.
P Allen "Frankly, Obama's skin color is no longer an issue with most Americans except for those who don't like the idea of a Black man as president, and those who are still upset because their candidate lost."
Stop trying to fool yourself allen, your better then that. Why is this inauguration is expected to be the biggest inauguration in this country's history allen? OH and why is it constantly be called "historic" allen if his race is no longer an issue?
Allen, this story was written by the Washington Post Thursday which featured a comment from a "Presidential Historian" Douglas Brinkley. Read this line from the story, and remember what you said about race no longer being an issue or focal point on Obama's skin color and him being President.
Presidential Historian Douglas Brinkley "The meeting also underscores the difference between the younger African American president-elect and his four white predecessors, he noted. "

I rest my case as I normally do allen, with facts.

Thank you for validating that this is not about Obama but his skin color, thanks again for validating my argument. No matter how you try to justify or spin it allen, it will always led back to the color of Obama's skin and not the content of his character this is the focal point of the attention.

Getting a little edgy are we allen?lol You can't close the case, I was the one that created it silly.lol
I have to rearrange how "52% of Americans saw it allen"
1. He's black
2. He's clean and articulate
3. He's historic
4. He will be the 44th president
5. Barack Obama won the election
That accurately explains things.

Sorry Allen, but I have a BS filter. I can filter out 99.99% of it. Since I don't buy into hype, I don't have to worry about fallen victim to it. You can try to convince yourself that Palin is dumb and people look at Obama and treat him because of who he is as a person and not the color of his skin. Go right ahead allen.lol

How often was Gerald Ford referred to as "historic"? I have to do some research on that allen.
Tyrone, I'll respond without posting your quotes...you know what you've said...
Haven't you said time and time again that "YOU" don't use, or focus on race as a factor in your daily life?
If most Americans "are" primarily focused on Obama's race, (by your many assertions and accounts on this blog) wouldn't that make most Americans racist??
You refuse to accept the idea that this event is historic because of "PAST" racism, not because of racism that is "PRESENTLY" occurring. The inauguration of a Black American president is "HISTORIC" because of this nations "HISTORY".
So why are your random thoughts focused on; "Skin color can't address our country's problems or the world's problems as President."??? If you're speaking for, and including yourself as part of those who focus on "skin color", it appears that you don't like the idea of a Black president.
Just wait... before you jump the gun and get bent out of shape about that last statement...
Okay, I'll concede to your argument. But only to the extent that it's not just Obama's skin color. But to the fact that it's mine, yours and every other Black person in this country, and in the world. That "FACT" does not impose a racist idea. That "FACT" is simply what it is....A FACT!
I've read a few of your responces where you've stated that Obama will fail, or fall flat on his face. So are you saying he "should" fail because he's Black, or,he "will" fail because he's Black?
If the McCain/Palin ticket had won the election, it would have been historic for a woman to become VP. I never questioned the idea that Palin was a "woman." My only concern is that she is a bumbling air-head!
There are many situations and man-made "barriers" that would been considered historic, if they were to occur. If the vatican installed a female as Pope, it would be historic. A female Chinese president. A Black Russian president. Man setting foot on Mars, you name it...
Why don't you just wait and see how he does in office. If he screws up, then "HISTORY" will tell the tale.

I don't focus on race allen BUT I can't help NOT TO NOTICE it allen with the words black, African American or historic when people talk about Obama.
P Allen "If most Americans "are" primarily focused on Obama's race, (by your many assertions and accounts on this blog) wouldn't that make most Americans racist??"
No allen, people can be "obsessed" with race and not be racists. When blacks and whites marched and protested for civil rights for blacks, people were focused on a good and just cause. Focusing on something can be a good cause, but obsessing over it can be very damaging to that cause just as much. When people obsess over something, they don't tend to think clearly. That could explain the fanaticism with Obama.
P Allen "You refuse to accept the idea that this event is historic because of "PAST" racism, not because of racism that is "PRESENTLY" occurring. The inauguration of a Black American president is "HISTORIC" because of this nations "HISTORY"."
Did Barack Oama overcome a racial barrier in order to win the presidency allen? You talk about that past. Obama is an American of 1st generation Kenyan descent. He was born in 1961. For intensive purposes, he was post civil rights era child. I was born in 1972. I learned from the past. I know about the racism in the past. I won't harp on something that isn't in my time line. When you keep living in the past, it makes it that much hard to evolve and more forward allen. If the past is the reason why so many people are worshiping Obama, no wonder I can't comprehend their mindsets. Shouldn't the election of Obama prove how great this country is now allen? Nobody has access to a time machine allen. Time doesn't stand still for nobody. People evolve, nations evolve. Do you realize that a person born in 1970 is almost 40 years old allen? A person born in 1980 is almost 30 years old. At some point history has to be just learned not relieved in order not to let it go.

Here's the problem allen. I never thought at any time in my life that a black person couldn't have won the presidency. I've always thought it was just a matter of time and the right style of candidate. You thought other wise. Once again it comes down to the era we grew up in. Racism will go away when having dirty thoughts will go away. Human nature is what it is. People think evil thoughts and some people act on them. Eradicating racism is as mental as trying to end poverty.
P Allen "I've read a few of your responces where you've stated that Obama will fail, or fall flat on his face. So are you saying he "should" fail because he's Black, or,he "will" fail because he's Black?"
It has nothing to do with race allen. I personally believe that Harold Ford would have made a much better President then Obama ever will, and Ford is a black Democrat. Obama will fail due to his faith in government being able to fix the economy. Him being naive and a pacifist in regards to foreign policy is be his undoing. IT will be his actions in general. Look at my video again allen. I was making reference to people that think just because of Obama's skin color, he will actually be a good president. I was stating that it was la la land style thinking for people to assume that. It is going to come down to Obama's abilities and beliefs as a "PERSON" that will determine his fate as president.
P Allen "Why don't you just wait and see how he does in office. If he screws up, then "HISTORY" will tell the tale."
If only people on the left would have followed you advice when it came to George W Bush allen, lol. He was tagged a failure from day one. His first screwup before he even assumes office is the $700 billion dollar "stimulus" bill. Allen, I'm not from the kumbaya camp of "just give him a chance". If he manages to do something right, I will actually say so. Today Biden is over in Iraq checking things out, and he met with the President of Iraq. I give Biden credit for doing that. If I was going out of my way to hate on Biden, I could have said that he is over there for a photo op. Obama is going to be the next Jimmy Carter not because I want it to be so, it will be because he believes that his policies will work when they HAVE BEEN HISTORICALLY PROVEN not to allen, thats why.
P Allen "There are many situations and man-made "barriers" that would been considered historic, if they were to occur. If the vatican installed a female as Pope, it would be historic. A female Chinese president. A Black Russian president. Man setting foot on Mars, you name it..."
Will the news story be eventually that "Obama is the first black president to fly on air force one"? Obama is the first black president to use the presidential bathroom? Obama is the first black president to pick up and use the oval office phone? At what point will it just be "President Barack Obama" and not the "historic black president"Barack Obama?
If Barrack Obama is to succeed or fail it will be based on his actions and policies. I find praising him simply because he is black to be backwards thinking and not forward thinking. It's too early and too soon to determine what kind of legacy he'll leave behind however his stance on abortion and his economic policies are horrendous and worthy of criticism!
I wouldn't rally behind a white politician with those kind of principles so why would I behave or think differently of a black politician who held those horrendous principles! I value character over color!
