Ghetto Crabs, Freddie Gray and the destruction of Baltimore
I used to laugh when people referred to Baltimore as an "urban jungle". After what happened and I witnessed Saturday and especially yesterday, I'm not laughing anymore. I think these people might be on to something actually. What has happened over the past 72 hours has been an utter embarrassment!! I do not care about Freddie Gray. His death was no excuse nor validation for black youths to act like uncivilized mindless animals! Freddie Gray was no saint just like Michael Brown wasn't. What the media isn't telling everyone is that Freddie Gray upon his death was arrested for the 40th times! So let me see if I have this right, a bunch of animals destroyed their communities in Baltimore over a career criminal?! So this morning, Baltimore is essentially on lock down. Thankfully Governor Larry Hogan has deployed the National Guard here. I am very angry probably more so then I have ever been. at what transpired on Saturday and yesterday.
Either Thursday or Friday, I will be doing some videos from the scenes from the impacted areas.

Tyrone, I can understand your anger about the destruction occurring in your home town. It's senseless, reckless and solves nothing. You have every right to be disgusted and angry.
That being said, the question now becomes, how will "YOU" express your anger? Are you willing to go into the burned and looted neighborhoods and help repair the damage? Are you willing to join with those who want to get to the root of the problem and figure out solutions? Contrary to your beliefs, there are systemic problems and issues which has effected black youth in Baltimore, and also across the country.
As far as the reported "Guerrilla/Bloods/Crips" gang threating to kill police, I really don't see any viable evidence, nor a reason for such actions to occur. In fact, the Black Guerrilla group operates mainly in prisons. Thus, the members who are most prone to violent acts are already in prison. If these groups really have made some kind of pact to attack police such actions would only make it worse for blacks in Baltimore, and the entire country.
There are some groups who are doing their best to stop the violence and seek justice for Freddie Gray. I watched as members from The Nation Of Islam attempted to protect stores from the looters. There were also groups from the local Baptist clergy as well as citizen's groups. This is an opportunity to bring all these forces together and begin to discuss solutions.
Rioting and inner-city strife is a societal problem. It's a historic and on going problem that's going to take American Blacks of every political ideology, religion, educational level, economic level and social class in order to solve the problems.

PERSONAL REQUEST: You need to do a live video recording at the scene of the $16 million burned down community center in "Broadway East" to show how the same people who attacked Creflo Dollar for his $65 million airplane fiasco are silent when the Southern Baptist Church who put together this $16M community center only to have it burned to the ground by the looters who they are offended over when the news media refers to them as thugs.

Tyrone, I am literally shaking my head in disbelief over the comments from the elected officials in this city. For example:
Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and City Council President Bernard “Jack” Young apologize for calling those who burned cars, looted stores, burned buildings, assaulted police, people and reporters, and destroyed private property “thugs”. The mayor went so far as to say “we don’t have any thugs in Baltimore…we have a lot of kids that are acting out, a lot of people in our community that are acting out”.
Several politicians use boilerplate excuses (lack of jobs, lack of businesses, lack of money for neighborhood redevelopment, lack of spending on education, etc.) to condone the behavior of these feral thugs.
Councilman Carl Stokes (this is the man who was the frontrunner for mayor before he was caught in a series of lies and embellished his resume) suggested that the word “thug” was synonymous with the n-word during an interview on CNN.
The Baltimore City Council met with members of the Bloods, Crips, and Black Guerrilla Family in an “attempt” to stop the violence in the city. Mind you, these are the same gangs that decided to team up to take out police officers and the BGF was basically running the city jail (remember, the leader Tavon White fathered 5 children with 4 female guards while in jail).
I’m at a loss for words, but think is says why the city is in the shape its currently in and why I don’t see things getting any better.
Seems as though the Baltimore officials have gotten their act together Tyrone. Good for them. I applaud the efforts I saw on the new last night. Being that they were in the midst of an extremely volatile situation, I think they've turned what was a bad response into one most can live with.

You believe that not having jobs, businesses, development and good educational resources as an "EXCUSE?" Can you name ONE socially and economically successful community that DOES NOT have "jobs, businesses, development and good educational resources."

According to latest report, it was alleged that Freddie Gray had pre-existing spinal surgery as a result of a car accident a week before his death. But court records that were examined show the case had nothing to do with a car accident or a spine injury. Instead, they are connected to a lawsuit alleging that Gray and his sister were injured by exposure to lead paint. So, if being expose to lead paint is the result to having having medical issues, possibly poor bone density, which lead to him having a car accident and having spinal surgery, that lead him to severing his spinal column was the cause of his death?
And now, a recent report of the Washington Post, that another prisoner in the paddy wagon that separated both this person and Gray with a wall, that this person heard Freddy Gray beating himself senselessly. The driver of the van had to stop at least three time to stop Gray from further beating himself. If his intention was to injure himself and make allegation of police brutality, well, it cost him.

The riots, looting and burning in Ferguson and New York and Baltimore are aided and abetted by: Aired videos that only give a snippet of the whole police-suspect situation; The focus only on white police and black suspect; The liberal bias and false narrative slant of the mainstream (lapdog) media; The “judge, jury, executioner” attitude of the press, without the facts; The total silence on the moral issues of subcultural rot and marriage and family breakdown's and jobless welfare dependency's effect especially on young black fatherless males (including why their long police rap sheets).

Washington Post reported credible evidence that drug dealer Freddie Gray was belligerent the entire time after he was put in the paddy wagon. Another prisoner in the paddy wagon confirmed that Gray was smashing his head until he broke his neck. Gray tried to get the police to beat him up so he could claim police brutality. He threw himself around the paddy wagon until he broke his own neck.

I've been reading lots of comments on liberal and socialist leaning sites excusing the protesters, claiming they are not attacking anyone, or doing any lasting harm to the community.

The BGF and other gangs can call for kill orders to it's members outside the jail. This is why the Baltimore City Jail along with other prisons in Maryland have cell phone devices in the prison to jam the frequencies of contraband cell phones that are sneaked into the prisons.

Hell No!!I wouldn't set one foot in those areas to help rebuild jack spit and squat!! If the damage was caused by a hurricane or tornado or some other natural disaster, then I would of course be right there helping to my fullest extent possible. This however is not the case. That burned out CVS on North and Pennsylvania Ave should be a constant reminder of the fact that they no longer have a CVS and maybe never will thanks to their actions and them alone. When people do not value what they are given and destroy it, they shouldn't be given anything unless they buy or build it.

Thanks John. There are the good people of Baltimore who are hardworking tax payers and contribute to this city and society, and then there are those of terrorize people, destroy and steal other people's property. That part of Baltimore was on display Saturday and Monday.
It's going to be awhile before Baltimore ceases being an embarrassment on the world stage.

I just posted it. I couldn't get closer due to the site being barricaded off and the ATF still doing their investigation, but I filmed most of the damage. As of yet there has been no group protesting denouncing the fire and demanding that the arsonists be brought to justice. I guess the senior citizens have to take a back seat to those seeking justice for a West Baltimore poison pusher.

Baltimore City Schools spends the highest amount per student in the entire state of Maryland, $15,000 on average per student, yet city students lag behind the students from other jurisdictions throughout the state. The punch line kicker is that Baltimore was named by former Mayor Kirk Schmoke "The City That Reads"!LOL LOL LOL!! Now that that the national media knows that three of the indited officers are black, look for the media to start to back off this story since they can't push their favorite meme of "white officers and black victim". Remember how the mob and the media didn't want to hear anything about the BLACK FEMALE Sargent who was present when Eric Garner died. It could be very possible that these officers are being served up on a silver platter for the mobs as a peace offering sacrifice. For Marilyn Mosby to address the mob in saying "I hear you", that's not a good sign of her being impartial and caring about dealing strictly on the facts at hand. You left out Indigo that the Baltimore City Council is mostly black and that the City Council President is also black. What difference does it make that the city officials are black? I'd like you explain exactly "WHY" the idea of black officials is of any importance to you. And what is you motivation for making the statement that the officials are black.

I said I don't see viable evidence, nor a reason for the gangs to attack police. First off, were there any attacks on police that could be directly attributable to gangs? Secondly, how do you think the prisoners are able to get cell phones and contraband into a "prison?" Isn't it obvious that the guards, the police and other officials make it (covertly) possible for them to have them?

In fact, I really don't understand why you would be so upset about the burning and looting. Obviously you don't live, work or play near the area where the burning and looting took place. You shouldn't care at all that they burned down their part of town. Frankly, you should want them to burn it down. That way all the blacks in those areas would have to move.... perhaps to the area where you live?
