Race Obsessed Melissa Harris Perry has a problem with the Star Wars character Darth Vader
There hasn't been many stories over the past few weeks that has peaked my interest to comment on. The 2016 race really start until after the Iowa Caucus. Most of the news cycle has been about Donald Trump, so that's nothing new. Here in Baltimore ,the trial of the first Baltimore Police officer William Porter who is on trial in the to the death of the West Baltimore heroin dealer Freddy Gray has gone to the jury and a verdict can come any day now. So while I was contempt on just focusing on that story, something else just happened to pop up on my radar. Friday is the day many Star Wars fans have been waiting for with the release of the latest movie in the Star Wars franchise entitled "The Force Awakens". I'm not a Star Wars fans, but I have no problem with it either. It's an American cinema icon franchise. People love the movies as a tale between the forces of good and evil, the force vs the dark side. So with that said , only a racially obsessed liberal could possibly see Star Wars through the lens of all things "race". One of those racially obsessed kooks is Melissa Perry Harris of the one and only MSNBC.
So the Tampon earring wearing race obsessed kook believes that the iconic villain Darth Vader somehow plays into a "black stereotype" or a clueless perception of Darth Vader being "black". I guess. I've never been good at figuring out liberal logic, because it is so absurd and not grounded in analytical logic. Only a person tries to equate every possible thing using race could possible see Darth Vader in that light. Thankfully Ms Harris is in the ultra small fringe minority group in that department. When it comes to the force of stupidity, the force is definitely strong with Ms Perry.

I would love to know just what this women does like.
The dingbat Harris-Perry would have been carted off the stage decades ago. But now, on the color of Darth Vader she has behind her a segment of the population that has no logic or basis in facts. For example, “Black Friday” was coined to mean profitable, like “in the black” on corporate profit and loss charts (vs. in the red which means deficit). Well, Joy Behar says: “Isn't it a little racist to call it Black Friday?”
Playing the race card, crying “racism” has become a national sport for progressive leftists, spoiled brat college students with their Alinskyite extortions, and “Black Lives Matter” thugs even justifying looting. It has now gotten to the point of proving the contention that “liberalism is a mental disorder.” (more to come)
John Leo, former humor columnist at US News & World Report, writes on this at:

Once again leftist want to CONTROL the debate by choosing which words can or cannot be used. Orwell's 1984 applies. One cannot prove or disprove a debate proposition if they cannot even state it. An enemy cannot be defeated if one cannot even speak its name. Those who are allowed to control the language and its words have won the fight before it even starts. Anchor babies of illegal aliens becomes “babies of undocumented immigrants.” Homosexual or sodomite becomes “gay.” Opposers of sin called “haters.” Baby killing or Abortion becomes “Pro-Choice.” Man-man and woman-woman becomes “marriage equality.” By doing this liberals have been silencing conservatives. One reason Donald Trump has risen up is by not going along with tyranny over our talk.
It takes one person, or a group to become such a buzzkill with their opinions. It makes me wonder if MHP has seen all the Star Wars films. Yes, James Earl Jones did voice Darth Vader, because the actor who portrayed him, David Prowse, his West Country English accent wasn't cutting it. Originally, it was alleged that George Lucas' choice to voice Darth Vader was Orson Welles. So, MHP claims that because Vader's voice was portrayed by a black actor and his suit was solid black, that plays into the "black stereotype"?
Next, she's probably going to say that the members of the Galactic Empire and their stormtroopers are in comparison the Nazis and other forms white supremacy, since the Empire has conquered much of the galaxy and that the stormtroopers are all wearing white. But wait a minute. Didn't the TIE pilots wore black? And like Darth Vader, as MHP claims being black, aren't the TIE pilots black?
Last time I heard of criticism against Star Wars was in "Episode I" The Phantom Menace". Many in the black community claimed that the character Jar Jar Binks was racial caricature and suggested that many aspects of the character are highly reminiscent of the archetypes portrayed in blackface minstrel shows while other suggest that the character represents the stereotypical Caribbean. Same thing was said about Watto, the character who owned Anakin Skywalker and his mother. It has been suggested that this character is offensive because he resembles a stereotypical Jew: he has a large nose, beady eyes, with a gravelly voice, and portrayed as being greedy.

Another aspect of this that shouldn't be overlooked is that having billed herself as some kind of Social Justice Warrior, she has to keep coming up with material to justify her role. That plus her inability to distinguish viable (if questionable) material from sheer inanity.
